I’m not w huge bone crunching guy
But am I right in thinking it straddled the middle to end of new gen and start of attitude era?
Hasbro lost the license in 94, new Gen was really 92/93 - 96/97. Bone crunchers were 95 series 1?

I’m not w huge bone crunching guy But am I right in thinking it straddled the middle to end of new gen and start of attitude era? Hasbro lost the license in 94, new Gen was really 92/93 - 96/97. Bone crunchers were 95 series 1? The years when BCAs were the predominant style of Jakks figures were 1996-1999. Jakks entered into a licensing agreement with the WWF by the end of October 1995. The first prototypes were shown at Toy Fair in February 1996. Superstars Series 1 arrived in stores by June 1996. BCAs were officially replaced by TTL figures as the standard Jakks line beginning in the fall of 1999. BCAs returned without the "bone-crunching" mechanism for a brief run the following year. There were five KB and Family Dollar Backlash sets released between September 2000 and October 2001. In between that time, Jakks introduced a newer style of BCA figures with taller, leaner sculpts, Real Scan heads, and added neck articulation. The first series was previewed at Toy Fair in February 2001 and later released as "Bone Crunching Superstars" in July 2001. The new BCA style figures stretched from 2001-2003. The last of those new BCA sets was Backlash Series 3, which was released in November 2003. This was the second incarnation of Backlash sets, not to be confused with the 2000-2001 variety. By 2004, BCA molds were no longer in use as TTL had replaced them once again, this time as the go-to dollar store line.

Blimey when the mwfpod do a bone crunch special make sure then get you on lol 96/99 gives a really great scope even though it’s only 3 years since they’re focusing on people who couldve originally fit in the line For instance your going from the end of the duke drose era to hardy boyz

Adam Bomb looks incredible! I would say flawless. I can easily see this figure being in BCA series 1.

I hope you guys like the Bryan Clark reveal!
Hot news: The next four names of Series 1 are all characters that Chella has not done or announced as Wrestling Megastars retros!

Solid reveal for Adam Bomb. I’m kinda torn on if I’d prefer the gloves over the hand wraps. But, as someone else said, he looks like he would fit in perfectly with BCA series 1. Bravo!

Adam Bomb looks incredible, really excited for this one. His retro is my most wanted from Chella at the moment and I can't believe we're getting three from Chella if you count the Glow in the Dark variant and now the Bone Crusher!
I'm really excited now for the rest of the Series if it's 4 new guys!!!

AE Jeff Jarrett with his own likeness that says “Dont Piss Me Off” instead of “Tick” would be cool

Adam Bomb looks INCREDIBLE. I was not planning to buy any BCAs, but if the actual figure looks as good as the drawing, I will buy

correct me if i'm wrong, but i'm seeing some owen hart series 6 and new age outlaws left arm influence in that adam bomb drawing.
and i say that in a good way! i think its awesome to use the old bca's as a basic outline!

Yep! Good eye. To some degree, I think Mark Henry/Dr. Death was the inspiration for Meanie’s body type. The shirt collar for Meanie reminds me of a Road Dogg torso. I love these little callbacks and can’t wait to see what else they come up with. If I could have one request taken into consideration, I’d ask for there NOT to be any Sultan or Savio legs in this line.
