Oh damn, a two pack right off the bat! Please keep checking in here dude, always good to have that update that gets everyone excited. I can't wait to see this line now and I'm very stoked as to who the 2 pack could be. A feud? A tag team? Ooooohhhhh!! A feud AND a tag team, maybe? I know it’s as unlikely as it gets, but imagine a BCW Mega Powers 2-Pack. If the original Jakks Legends line could have given us Golden Era names in the BCA style instead of what it actually was, it would’ve put their own Attitude Era Superstars line to shame. All this FC/Chella 2-Pack needs to be is a classic tag team or pairing from the ‘80s or ‘90s and it will sell, guaranteed. I wholeheartedly believe that.

Well, Chella are bringing out those Demolition figures so maybeeee? I think if Demolition were the first set then everyone would be handing money to them like crazy! Could you imagine that? Don't get me started! Demolition would be an absurdly cool signing. For anyone that hasn't heard it yet, here's a SoundCloud link to the Chella Toys Podcast interview with our very own 3Lephant (Naptown Icon): soundcloud.com/bbgwpod/interview-with-jack-slime-figure-collections-chella-toys-podcastIn it, he mentions that Jim Neidhart likely won't be possible for the BCW line anytime soon. Edit: Also, he gave a little hint that "there's going to be at least one wrestler in the Bone Crushing Wrestlers line that did not have an action figure. Ever." !!! And he said the goal is for the wrestlers to be pictured on or in the packaging. Similar to the Series 1 BCA inserts? Since it's a BCA tribute line, he says, "the Bone Crushing Wrestlers assortments will only feature people that could have theoretically been involved. Had they been in the right company or just released around the correct time. So, you're not going to see any modern guys in this line, at least not until we see the first few series. Cause I know that's what people are wanting out of this. I just don't see that being a driving factor for sales or anything." They're going to start dropping hints soon about who's in the new Bone Crushing Wrestlers line. He said, "don't be surprised if you see a prototype pop up." He wouldn't give an exact date, but said: "it's closer than people think."

I'm very curious/excited to see what the displayablility of these is. BCAs (as much as I love them) aren't the most aesthetically pleasing figures on display IMO. Wonder if they will have stands similar to the series 3-4-5 etc. BCAs. These are the first retro line concept from any company that I'm tempted to collect on large scale, as opposed to one-offs.

If these are compatible with BCA stands, that would be ideal for the time being. They could always develop their own at a later date.

If we got the Bulldogs and that opened up the opportunity for a Retro to go with Dynamite Kid, sign me up all day long. I'll take two of each!

That's assuming people have a backlog of BCA stands available, which while I'm sure there will be hardcore BCA collectors buying these, they likely won't be the only audience. Who knows, maybe they'll rework the legs a bit to make freestanding easier.

There’s a lot of potential in tag teams of the Golden Era, but it sounds like the focus early on will be exclusively late New Generation through Attitude Era/Monday Night Wars Era (1995 to 2001, maybe?). Not that I’m complaining. That's assuming people have a backlog of BCA stands available, which while I'm sure there will be hardcore BCA collectors buying these, they likely won't be the only audience. Who knows, maybe they'll rework the legs a bit to make freestanding easier. True. But the same could be said for Chella packing stands with Retros, and if that isn’t a top priority for them, stands for BCWs shouldn’t be either. I would much rather the budget go towards developing new molds for the figures, which is also where reworking the legs could factor in.

Props to Chella for having their finger on the pulse with the lines they choose to pursue

Well, Chicago what about the potential for a Body Donnas two pack? That would be a huge one if Chella came out with it, especially Chris Candido. If Sunnys also not signed by anyone, maybe another Sunny in the line could be cool.

Bodydonnas attire would be preferred, but if that’s not possible, their ECW or WCW looks would be the next best option. There might actually be more ECW and WCW talent to work with than WWF, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. The likelihood of ever getting OSFT or ToyBiz-style figures of some of those guys and girls has to be slim, but with BCWs, so many could finally have a proper six-inch figure. I’d love to get an Alex Wright or Johnny B. Badd, for example.

But, the absolute want is an Impact Players. Give me any Lance Storm in any line and you have my money!

Give me any Lance Storm in any line and you have my money! Yes! I’d love to replace the custom Mikey I made out of a BCA Billy Gunn lol. It’d be neat to have all of those guys, and more. Especially the cruiserweight variety, since they were so often underrepresented in action figure lines back then. Imagine a Little Spike Dudley to go with the New BCA Dudley Boyz. I figure guys like Eddie, Rey, Jericho and Malenko would probably be off limits, but what about Juvi? Ultimo? Psychosis? Just to name a few. I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention 2 Cold Scorpio. The more I think his name and type it out, the more I want both an ECW and WWF version.

I mentioned him a few weeks ago in the Chella thread as my top 5 want. If we got Juvi/Psychosis... oh boy!

a proper Brian Pillman is a must, forget the slammers fig Pillman would be an incredible choice. A perfect fit, really, because his Loose Cannon work in WCW, ECW and WWF all took place within those early BCA years. As much as I’m looking forward to Zombie’s version, I hope Pillman isn’t exclusive to that line. The Slammers 2 figure in black tights would be worth doing as a BCW, or they could mix it up a little and go with the inverse colors from WCW for something different. His ECW debut look might even be more popular than him in wrestling tights. Wouldn’t mind seeing them have a go at Taka and Del Wilkes, too, if those would even be possible.

Pillman is a great pick. Anvil is probably my most wanted to round out the HF. I think he's still on a Legends deal, though. Anything that fills out the gaps is awesome.
00 Raven would be incredible, and I'd need 3 of those. I'm guessing we'll get Adam Bomb and Crush, or maybe those two as Kronik. I'd rather have Kronik in Toybiz style if we're getting retro figures, but I guess we don't get to be picky. This is a slippery slope. I'd like to say I'd only want stuff from the 95-00 wheelhouse, but that's a lie.
