A prototype never looks like the final product so don't even sweat what they provided. It's more of a "it'll look somewhat like this" to a crowd of people asking "what will bone crunching look like from Chella?". Now you have a general idea. Cool.

To a point but If it’s a render (which I don’t think this is) then it should t be called a prototype which this was (and I think it is) |

It's definitely a hand painted prototype. I was able to zoom way in on the pics they posted on Twitter, and there's plenty of signs of textures, brush strokes, and tiny imperfections in the paint. It's most evident on the fringe of the shorts, but you can see it on the head and the facepaint, too.

I guess I'm just saying, does it really matter? That's not how it's going to look and we should all know that. Just like Zombie's won't look like the paint masters. I was more impressed by how the body might look since we haven't seen that style figure in ages.

That Bryan Clark looks great. I think Meanie is a great choice for this line, as is Gillberg, because both fit so well with the BCA era. Neither guy is someone I'd drop $40 to own a figure of, but I appreciate what Chella is doing with these. If they keep going with the JOB Squad, I'd love to see a 1998 2 Cold Scorpio.

The legs look a little long for me, but not being the biggest bca fan I know some of them did have longer legs, like Goldust I believe Chicago - would you say they’re consistent with some taller bcas who have longer legs? |

I love/hate this figure. I feel like they absolutely nailed it and this is what Jakks would have delivered. That said, those legs are terrible. That was absolutely a style they had…but if this were proportioned more like Diesel, I would have bought it. THAT is how much I like this figure. It’s a line I have zero intentions of collecting and Chella was one design choice away from having a customer. Now I’m going to have to consider buying a Jakks classic superstar to fill this void! |

No need to get bent out of shape lol. There may be touch-ups involved on this occasion, but that shouldn't be much of a concern considering this is not the finished product. It's obviously what they're working towards. " Don't let the lighting or anything else fool you." You have issues my dude. The lighting is absolutely a factor in how something appears to the naked eye, is it not? I don't really understand what you hope to get out of analyzing the images to that degree. I mean, have at it all you want. If I'm wrong and the figures come out looking drastically different from these photos, I'll happily admit to it. |
