I was hoping the RSC exclusive Britt would have at least one of the new head scans without blood. Since it does not, I am not likely to buy this one.

I’m not gonna lie. I’m a bit disappointed with today’s reveals but ultimately I think I made the right choice when I pre-ordered the three figures that I did from Unmatched Series 2. I’ve got Wardlow and Santana/Ortiz on pre-order and I’ve had those figures bought and paid for since late-September when they first became available.
Wardlow could maybe use a tan, but he does look pretty good and I have no complaints. Santana/Ortiz look great, I’m just hoping they come with some accessories or something (but probably not since we’re getting interchangeable hands).
Don’t really care about Sting all that much. The chase seems low effort, but what can you really do with him at this stage of his career? I guess some ring gear would have been nice? Idk. I might add him to my pre-order though

Heh. The expanded pictures of the Britt exclusive don't do it any favors. The new heads look like a completely different shape next to the older one.

Nice selective point proven there What’s the ratio when you include series 1-6 with done of those repeated in 7-9 AEW has had 18 repeats in the first 9 lines of Unrivaled and Unmatched 1, WWE had 18 in the first 10 Elite lines I know people don't count them, but that's a bit of an unfair comparison because Mattel's launch included Basics, Battle Packs, Entrance Greats, and various PPV sets on shelves as well, so many characters did have repeated releases. (Also, the idea of being mad at major characters getting repaints is very strange to me, especially when the majority of nearly every series has been new characters (same goes for Mattel as well). Jazzwares has a ton of issues, but lineup construction's not really one of them IMO).

I haven’t bought any AEW figures, but I’m considering buying a Sting. I think the crotch pieces look really weird for these figures as well as some of the proportions. However, I really like the attention to detail that Jazwares put into their Sting. He has textured gloves, a detailed bat that actually looks like the one Sting has and they even molded the way his pads actually currently look too. I might just wait for a singlet version though.

Warlow looks better. Britts original head is garbage. It’s a good looking figure but Sting looks like dumb constantly wearing long sleeve tee shirts. I get he’s older and not in the same shape he used to be, but he still looks fine in the singlet top. If I were a fan, I wouldn’t want a toy of him in a shirt. His Mattel one looked dumb too.

His Mattel figures for the most part were Franksteined. Just random parts all over the place. His best figure imo was his Crow DM, every other figure besides that one had different arms, legs, torsos or missing in accurate detail.

I think Sting or Hogan had the most part variety between releases. Almost none of them share parts with other releases.

I think Sting or Hogan had the most part variety between releases. Almost none of them share parts with other releases. I think Mattel could get a pass with Hogan because he was pretty “thick” back in the 80s, then slimmed a bit and carried on somewhat of a heavy build later. With Sting he always had thick legs, had mass, but he wasn’t super shredded or ripped like let’s say Batista or Ultimate Warrior. I think somewhere around ‘98ish he lost muscle. Mattel always gave Surfer Sting a super ripped torso with chicken legs and wrong boots. DM Crow Sting had ripped arms, the wrong boots (they should of been tall), no wrist cuffs. Wolfpac Sting had a torso that didn’t match the legs in proportion with small arms. To top it off they gave the shirted Sting ripped arms and the Hall of Fame a different singlet torso. It was just bad imo and I felt like they weren’t listening to us after that whole DM Sting fiasco.
