Any ideas for when we’ll have the opportunity to pre-order AEW Unrivaled Series 8 and Unmatched Series 3? With Unmatched Series 2 set to ship out for pre-orders in early-December and with Unrivaled Series 7 having just released and being in stock on RSC, when can we expect to get a chance to pre-order these new figures?

The lack of pre-orders and constant product has really drowned interest in the line...

I think the line and AEW in general took off in ways they weren't ready for. I love my collection, but they definitely have thrown some water on the fire.

J&J (Jeremy and Jazwares) did a really good job with promotion and communication in the beginning, but have done little since. They released with that Walmart Exclusive Sting without even announcing it. It got one tweet and they haven't mentioned since. No product images, no MIB images, nothing. Same kind of thing happened with the stuff that went up for pre-order on Amazon. Plus, the skin tone issues still exist despite them saying they were fixing it. The figures are still selling, so I guess none of it matters anyway.

I just think it’s crazy that Unrivaled Series 7 is already out and shipping and yet we’ve heard next to nothing about Unrivaled Series 8 besides knowing who’s in the line and what they might look like by way of some render images.
I do think that it’s unfair to compare them to Mattel, since Jazwares is obviously not able to pump out figures in the same way, but sustaining interest is crucial when it comes to attracting the attention of casual fans and buyers. If you’re reading this, you and I will likely be excited and but regardless. But will the casual fan if they don’t hear anything for weeks or months at a time about the lines they were anticipating the arrival of?

I think covid changed there plans, Unmatched 3 was supposed to be put by Christmas according to Jeremy earlier with the sets coming month by month

S7 dropped a month ago and I feel like literally no one cared. My relationship with WWE & AEW and it’s figures are opposites. I don’t care or enjoy WWE at all but I get so excited for the figures. I absolutely love AEW but I care very little about it’s figures. Ofc there’s a lot of people I really want(New Look Shida #1) but I just have very little hype or interest for the figures at this point. I feel like we haven’t got any new info or images in months

The biggest gripe I have right now with AEW figures is the lack of good articulation. Some of the figures can barely bend their legs to sit down. Look at how bad aubrey's legs are, I don't get why they have ball jointed hips when the movement is restricted so much by the crotch plate. Lance archers figure was worse than I thought it would be for articulation as well. Dustin's figures are extremely restricted as well :/

Lifeless and dead is right -- and that's all because of no communication/excitement building from Jazzwares.
Compare Steve and Robert -- and Jeremy, or anyone from Jazzwares. The discrepancy is about 2,000 miles wide.

To be fair - we have more figures dropping in December [the next unrivaled wave] and before that/around that time, I imagine we'll be getting more pre-orders for next year. While some figures are hit/miss [either the sculpts or articulation issues as mentioned above] in general, I personally am very happy with the figures themselves. I have one of every wrestler [minus the women wrestlers] and when Sting/Wardlow show up, I'll have 29 figures - which considering the short amount of time the line has been around, is pretty solid. Now - the line has issues. And that is all distributor/Jazwares it seems - but things have changed: Line one was a total up, and from then one the production factory was changed and in later series the rare figure number were increased. Some things have been held up for various reasons [covid, giant canal blocking boat etc], while some things are just the relevant parties being a bit crap- BUT I will say that when stuff has hit, it's hit. The last series I was very much hyped for and glady recieved. I know not everybody is in the same boat, and it's most likely me just thinking "mate - it's just toys. I can wait", so I apologise if it's a bit to "optimistic" but I'm letting these guys get the 'kinks' out of the process, as things are changing. When things up - shout about it. Tweet/Insta post/post here to Jeremy/Magic/Jazzwares etc - stuff is getting noticed, no matter that little reception we seem to be getting.

I'm still really enjoying this line. But I can see people feeling a loss or lack of hype or excitement due to how slow sets are coming out and being revealed. But do keep in mind, things are not easy on ANY company right now. Things are hard on Mattel, so you know it has to be harder on a smaller company like Jazwares. Especially with a still relatively new line that had the misfortune of launching during a pandemic.
With all they've had to face I feel Jazwares has done quite well. Not to say there aren't problems. But they have really done well given all the obstacles right now.
And while I'd love to see more reveals, I'd say they are just being cautious when revealing things right now as I doubt they want to show too much from too far ahead with all the delays happening from all that's going on in the world. Knowing things have been delayed starting with Unrivaled 7, you wouldn't just want to keep revealing new waves not knowing how long it may take to get them made and put out.
Hopefully something like Unrivaled Wave 8 goes up soon for pre order. I'm really looking forward to that Wave, Unmatched 3, and DEFINITELY Unrivaled 9.
