Glad it gave me another chance at Vader without breaking my wallet in half I can relate to that on so many levels, last time I checked rite 31 Vader was in February, when I barely found out about legends 10 Vader. I looked and it cost $90

I'd love it if they gave us a few Tag Team 2-Packs. A Rhythm & Blues 2pack would be my first choice. Mega Powers would be just as Amazing.

With Valentine and Honky both having contracts (evident by recent figure releases), I'm confused as to why they wouldn't go for this over yet more repaints. How many Mr T's does a guy need?

its ing awesome. distribution has been a bit of a hassle at times, but with the news that they are shipping full cases of them, its going to get better. i love what we've been given in terms of characters. maybe the only guy i think is a little stale is Jake, didn't really understand the point of making him the chase, twice....but like we're getting cool figures, better figures of previously released guys, and some nice surprises. Hope it continues for YEARS. Because Jake is in AEW and might not be available forever, I’d rather have two of Jake than two of Bob Orton not disagreeing with that, and maybe they didn't have these all planned out but like...jake was the chase in series 8....id rather have had Eddie be the chase instead. the 2 upcoming jakes make more sense being a chase than the series 8 one did

I guess you're right about Honky but at least a black haired Valentine in white jacket and shades would feel somewhat like a new character, and would be a nice nod to the rare unreleased Hasbro.

In my opinion, this is the best line they've got by FAR. I only collect the 80s and 90s characters.

I hate that it's target exclusives. Made it expensive for us international collectors, and that target won't ship to forwarders.

To be fair, Mattel do make them available to international stores but there’s no uptake, so really it’s the stores that need to be hounded, maybe they would get them in if enough people asked them to get them and show there is demand.

As has already been said, I love the line, in that I love the pictures I see of it. However, as an Irish customer, other than the anomaly of RSC carrying the current series, I never get a proper chance to actually buy them. Opening the line up to international customers, even as a web-exclusive offering (or giving them to RSC more often) would surely pump the sales a bit more.
Also would be in favour of re-releasing popular characters if they do manage to figure out how to get it to us non-US customers.

They’re retired. They would qualify for the Legends line whether you like it or not. Rule of thumb should be 20 years. So the legends line shouldn’t have anyone that debuted after 2001. They have already made a Cena because they lack enough classic talent signed.
I think 20 years is too restrictive. You've about 15 years of wrestlers that don't fall into current day wrestling roster category, nor do they fall into classic/legends category if the cut off is that tight.
People complain about Hurricane, for example, but what other line would he really fit into? If you wanted a hurricane figure (and I do, but can't due to the international ordering issues) what other line would he realistically be a good fit in?

Personally speaking, the line has been pretty disappointing for me... full of rehashes/different versions of wrestlers or figures I already have. I know it's not really Mattel's fault and they can only release who WWE say - but out of all the figures in the line, there's only been ONE must-have for me (Valentine)... all the others fall into "already got", "cool but not a must-have" or "don't want".
The availability - or lack of - to international collectors doesn't help either.

Hurricane could have easily fit in the regular Elite line. Michael Hayes should have been saved for the Legends line, too. Give him a decent, more flamboyant attire too.

Love the series, great for a lot of collectors to get more obscure or unlikely attires. Haven't had the chance to get one since the line reboot as I'm international but from an outsiders perspective they're great sellers and have plenty of looks I personally like and would want.

The figures are good to great but the line ups show how lacking WWE are in signed legends. I live in Ireland, I have zero chance of finding them anyway!

I’m all for more figures and looks being released, but the majority of them have been easy passes for me.
I got Eddie, one Jake, Vader, Bam Bam and eventually will get Hurricane in the next wave.
When it’s almost entirely rereleases there’s only going to be so many I’ll get.
I do wish we’d get more popular requests like purple flames Bam Bam or DDP in jeans.

I love the line, but obviously some choices make you raise an eyebrow. Like why a WWECW Hurricane when we haven't seen a new Lex Luger figure in 5 years?

Hurricane was furloughed during the pandemic and I believe brought back a couple months later. Maybe they wanted to get another figure out right away while they still could. On top of that, his first figure seemed like it sold really well and even though it hasn't been confirmed, it seems like some of those waves around when Covid first hit got shorter production runs.
It does seem strange that it has been awhile for Lex, but that is assuming he had been a under a deal this whole time from his first figure. There might have been a period when he wasn't under a deal, but it seems like he is now. Hopefully we see some releases in 2022.
