i was so bummed when Jakks lost the license, i had all the different figs going back to the original BCA line. As strange as this sounds, I don't know if you can relate to this one, but I've collected Jakks MORE since they lost the licence. I've been a hardcore supporter of theirs in the past 12 years, and even more so than when I was collecting Mattels at the same time. Just recently I've started a loose RA and BCA collection which I'd never done before. Even at this stage of my life and collecting life, I still find myself drawn to them more than any other company. With the Chella Bone Crushers coming out, it inspired me to start a collection of them, and same with Hasbro's. I dunno, I just feel like their charm still lives on till this day.

It seems to me like Jakks just gave up in the end. Classics ended and Jakks would continue with TNA RA figures and Legends RA figures. But after 1 or 2 waves the RA style was finished. It was a sad time.

Loved the CS series & have many fond memories of hunting them down at K-mart, KayBee Toys & Toys R Us among other stores….just waiting for & seeing each series lineup as they were revealed was almost as exciting as actually finding them in stores….there will absolutely never be another series of figures like this again, the wide range of legends made during its run will never be topped

I'll never forget going into a store and thinking, "Mattel? Where are all the Jakks figures?" Nothing against Mattel, just surprising.
