there's an entire world of difference between a guy like Elias versus a guy like Cole tons of NXT talent has been perfectly fine when they were moved off that roster. I 100% think Adam Cole is good enough to main event in basically any scenario you put him in, regardless of what constraints are put in his way. I'm selfishly amazingly glad he came over, but I'm not doubting for a second he wouldn't have found a way to be a big deal had he stayed. Much like the American Dragon, he's just too good to ignore forever Never say never. You're talking about the same company that cooled off Nakamura who was hot enough to melt through the sun when he came to the main roster in about a month and a half.

The Elite segment was awesome. Cutler is so underrated in his role.

I'd be willing to bet the WWE wanted to keep him but he didn't want to be what they wanted him to be. Cole wants his Twitch channel, and to hang out with his buddies. AEW gives him that freedom so he made the choice to go there. If he hated the WWE and wanted out so bad because he was going to become a clown on the "main roster".... he would have left when his contract expired and not given them the extra time to finish out the Kyle O'Reilly angle.

At least based on his comments he never had any intention of staying

Jungle Boy is quickly becoming my favorite in the entire company, the guy is incredible and only getting better. Plus, he landed Anna Jay. If there was ever an objective criteria to identify a top guy, that's it His promos are not great, yet he's still over. I'm sure he'll improve on the mic.

Yes, it's completely in conflict with the other stellar booking decisions they've made with 90% of the other NXT callups. Absolutely unfeasible. there's an entire world of difference between a guy like Elias versus a guy like Cole tons of NXT talent has been perfectly fine when they were moved off that roster. Yeah but there have been too many that haven’t and that’s a shame. Also the fact that you don’t believe Adam Cole was going to be a manager shows wwe can do no wrong to you. How can you not put it past them to do that? Same company that had Ruby Soho in catering forever and Malikai Black in a dark closet forever!
