My grandma and mom are pretty big on coupons, and maybe it’s a Millennial thing, but I realized recently I’ve never used one. Ever. I probably should start though, as I could probably end up saving quite a bit at local restaurants and stores. Do you use coupons?

I use coupons all the time in a supermarket. Once you start paying attention to the prices and a coupon in most stores .75 and under doubles it becomes a no brainer. Bought a huge bottle 52 oz of dish soap 2.88 had a .50 coupon it doubled got a 1.00 off 1.88 for 52.oz better than getting the small 12-16 oz bottles in the dollar store.

No I really don’t and I should. When I order online I’m more inclined to use them though and I’ll usually look up a code. When I’m out in the regular stores i usually don’t for whatever reason.

I only use coupons when shopping online. In store, I just never remember. Once I was at the register and the cashier was so insistent that I use a coupon, she waited for me to download the store’s app and pull up the coupon codes.
What I’ve learned from my job, is that coupons are actually generally beneficial for all parties involved. Stores generally need approval from a manufacturer to offer a coupon for an item. That approval is generally tied to an agreement for the retailer to order more product from the manufacturer. That is more sales for the manufacturer. Then the retailer offers a coupon and likely sees an uptick in sales. The retailer then charges it back to the manufacturer in the form of an account credit. The end customer obviously saves a little money and becomes more aware of the manufacturer’s product.

Try my best but not a lot of items I typically buy have them, and I don't scour every crevice of the internetz looking for obscure ones.

I usually use the instore coupons next to an item, but I really should bust out the Sunday paper and get the real couponing on. Every penny counts in my house.

Online, yes. In store, no. From what I haven’t seen, it’s not really a big thing here in NZ. I’ve never seen coupons in magazines, newspapers etc. I’d feel awkward using them anyway. Similar to when I see people bartering. Not for me.

My cousin's wife was featured on an episode of TLC's Extreme Couponing. We had no idea he was on the show. We were flipping through channels and my mom noticed him and she said that has got to be your cousin. She called my Aunt and she confirmed it was his wife that was on the show.

My girlfriend & I haven’t used them for quite a while now but about a month or so ago we were in line at the grocery store, there was an elderly lady checking out in front of us….this lady reached in her purse & started pulling out what seemed to be hundreds of coupons….long story short she ended up getting $320 in groceries for about $145….my girlfriend & I looked at each other with the exact same thought, time to start cutting again …. LoL

If I have a coupon or discount code, of course I’ll use it. I don’t go out of my way to find them either.

Usually no but I lost my job recently so now it seems like a good option. By the way, if someone faced the same situation or just needs money urgently, you can get a payday loan here maybeloan.com/payday-loans/oh. I applied to this service twice and I have to admit it's a great solution.

My mum's kind of drilled it into me to use them. Saying that, I've never done it as much as in the past few months. We've been ordering our food shopping online with Sainsburys and they keep sending me "money off our shop" vouchers, so we've been taking advantage of it.
I'm not a scrooge with money, unlike my dad is, but at the end of the day a savings a saving right.

when i worked at walgreens we used to have a lady who was an extreme couponer. She would legit get extremely pissed if she spent more than 5$ on an entire cart of stuff. it was insane.
