Number of figures I've actually seen in stores? 3

One day at Walmart I found Series 3 Riho and Mike and Jeff Youngbuck (if you watch Danhausen, you get this).

Other than that, it's been eBay, Target.com, and getting lucky with ordering from that random assortment on Walmart.com

I'm really looking forward to the day that AEW has normal distribution and you can just GET THEM and it's not a struggle.

According to the photos on the phone that I never clean out, I found my first ones on August 13th. It was the in-aisle display at Wal-Mart, and whoever got to it before me cleaned it out of the Young Bucks (never needed them, so that's fine). I got Cody and Kenny that day (and one of each for my bud, as well), then immediately regretted sleeping on Jericho, and wound up tracking him down about 12 days later (it felt like much longer).

Today I walked into the remnants of series 6 at a Target about an hour from me. Weird that someone would take only Jericho and Penta, so I'm assuming Jericho was the chase that I actually want (for once), even if that's just me putting sour grapes on the matter. Rest of the set is wack...I thought I might impulse buy Hager, but that figure is doo-doo.

How come you don’t use Ringside?

To be fair, it really wasn't scalpers. Due to COVID and whatever else, there were no figures on shelves anywhere that day. I had taken off work and drove around to somewhere between 15 and 20 Walmart stores, thinking maybe, just maybe, if I went to that many, I might find one Chase or Rare figure... LOL

A couple stores had the Action Ring and/or the toy World Championship. But the Unrivaled figures simply hadn't hit stores yet at that point.

1 year later and I have seen 2 figures in stores and it was this past weekend.

I found my first ever AEW figures in stores last month - Series 4 Cody , Santana, and Ortiz at one Walmart, LAX at another Walmart 2 days later. And that’s it. Nothing before or since.

I’ve seen 28 figures total and 4 unmatched so far

Picked up 22 of the 28 and 3 of the unmatched

Never saw series 1, 3 or 5

This line has been my favorite part of collecting over the past year. My entire collection has come from retail, with complete sets S1-4.

I think I've seen just about everything at retail at least twice, and S3 was getting constantly restocked at Targets near me. I think there's still a ways to go in terms of supply meeting demand, there are some lingering questions about changes in materials from wave to wave, and it's by no means a perfect product. But overall it's been so exciting to add new names and faces, including a lot of guys who I've followed on indies or smaller promotions since I got back into wrestling in 2014, in figure form. Jazwares has made so many figures that collectors just never thought we'd own.

Here's to many more years of continued abuse on my wallet.

I rarely have compete sets but I have sets 1 - 4 and some of series 5 and 6. I will never have a chase/rare in my collection finding these in my local Targets are hit or miss mostly a miss and I don't have a Walmart near me.

In terms of the look and feel of the figures think they have come along way in just a single year,just look at Series 1 Omega to Unmatched series 1.Yes it sucked trying to find them upon the original release and at least in my state of Minnesota been pretty hard to find a full series or bring restocked,for months on end now besides finding a random Santana the shelves have basically just had Rhio & The Young Bucks on them for months on end.But looks like the tied might be changing because I've found part of the Unmatched wave at four different Targets in the past week,hopefully this is a sign of thing to come.

I haven't been looking for these(they look awesome, I just don't collect them/watch) but since they are near WWE I at least look to see if anything is there. I took this picture two days ago and it's the first time I've seen any AEW in stores.

Yeah, series 4 and 5 have been flooding Wal-Marts here, and series 6 is easy enough to come by at most Targets.

Now if I could only find that damn Jericho chase.
