Would be a logical enough collaboration. Dark Side has done a decent job of pointing out some of Vince's shadier stuff (*cough* Snuka *cough*), so I don't think Mattel's touching that. Makes sense for Jazwares to hop on that train. Jericho & JR have been pretty involved with that series too.

I’ve read they may start a legends line inspired by Dark Side of The Ring Yeah I seen some comments about dark side of the ring under the announcement, but I didn’t read it, just looked over it real quick. |

I wouldn’t get your hopes up until we actually see an announcement. Jericho has done ALOT to help bridge the relationship with Martha and the wrestling industry (Vince not being involved is the biggest factor), but for all we know this could be a future nickname for Julia.

Martha is on record that her issue isn't with merch, it's that anything she was approached with in the past always had some kind of WWE ties. She doesn't want WWE to profit off of Owen, which is totally understandable. Martha through the Owen Hart Foundation have released a pretty significant amount of merch through Pro Wrestling Tees - a number of shirts, 3 Micro Brawlers, socks, etc. PWT also runs ShopAEW and has a pretty long history with the EVPs. Jeremy also made a comment maybe 4-6 months ago strongly implying that there had at least been conversations between Jazwares and Martha. Who knows if this ultimately results in a 6in figure. But I'd shocked if some type of relationship between Martha and AEW doesn't exist or is being seriously discussed. Also I don't think Julia Hart is even signed beyond a Tier 0 or Tier 1 contract. There's a better chance that Teddy Hart is going to use that moniker than Julia. |

I'm all in for Owen Hart if it can be done which is long overdue. If these Dark side of the Ring Legend figures are to be made makes me wonder who else Jazzwares will make? Chris Benoit? Hmmm I would imagine this has some sort of tie to Owen Hart. I'd be pumped to see an Owen figure come out and would imagine some of the proceeds would go to his foundation. Would be super neat to see Owen as a possible legend in the AEW game as well. |

She kind of put that rumour to rest in the darkside doc. It's just been a while since a company besides WWE has even existed in a capacity that could utilise Owen's name in any meaningful way. Legends of Wrestling games are a good example though. Owen appeared in two of them. |

Assuming Jazzwares gets to make an Owen fig, since I have 0 frame of reference, how do their figs look next to Mattel's? If I stand a jazzwares Owen with Pillman, Neidhart, Bret and Bulldog would it look visibly out of place?

They have screwed up the scale a couple times within the aew line but for the most part they blend in just fine with wwe mattel…so far |

She said every time she considered doing some type of merch for Owen, somehow it always seemed to reach McMahon’s pocket in one way or another, which she would not let happen. Eventually she stopped trying for fear it would somehow still benefit McMahon. I never said it wouldn’t happen. I said don’t get your hopes up until an official announcement is made. |
