I hope so, but I wouldn't say that's a guarantee. It seems like a tee shirt is included in the HOF deal, since every major inductee seems to get one every year whether they sign a larger Legends deal or not.

I just had a dumb idea. Let’s say if we hypothetically get Scott Steiner, would it be interesting to including two sets of arms? One pair are normal non-flexed and the other in a flexed position at his biceps like he does when he kisses them. interchangeable arms as an elite or an exclusive is highly unlikely. as an ultimate, 100% doable

Mock up a chubby torso on Scott for the giggles.

If you’re able to talk about Jake Roberts merch deal, why do you say you can’t talk about merch deals when others are asked if they have a merch deal? Serious question, just wondering what’s the difference One would assume it’s because Jake is having merch released consistently. Nothing is being revealed that we don’t already know. Yeah but he always says “we can’t talk about merch deals” when asked about certain wrestlers, but then talks merch deals . If you can’t talk merch deals then don’t talk merch deals.

Jeff Jarrett says hi. No one can hear him though as he isn’t a draw.

You get my idea though? Scott has these really weird biceps and it would be awesome to get them included with normal relaxed arms.

Hall of Fame shirts aren’t part of a legends deal. Everyone gets a HOF shirt. It’s part of the deal when you agree to be inducted. I should have snagged one of those Dudley shirts

This is just an urban legend. He has a merch deal in place that needs to be renewed every few years like all other Legends. If you’re able to talk about Jake Roberts merch deal, why do you say you can’t talk about merch deals when others are asked if they have a merch deal? Serious question, just wondering what’s the difference I’m not talking about specifics of his deal that wouldn’t apply to any other talent. Just dismissing a rumor.

Who’s to say they didn’t have a deal for a figure and Mattel just didn’t find the right “slot” for them and held out to long and the deal ran out? I mean let’s not act like this hasn’t happened numerous of times before. If you’ve been collecting long enough, we all should know Mattel makes repaints of guys who they think will take in the money before doing a FTITL person who they don’t think will bring as much. Which we all here rather have a Scott/Rick Steiner, Repo man, crush etc over a rock/undertaker/Kane/John cena etc anyway.

So without derailing this thread legends contracts are usually 12 months rolling contracts? Interesting. I’d assume there’s a few exceptions to that like Austin who will always be merch movers - not asking you to comment on him in particular just thinking out loud. That must make it even more difficult for you guys because figures are usually planned what, 9-12 months in advance? So literally to get a legend out in their 12 month window you’d have to have the figure in mind in the first 3 months or so if their contract? There’s a lot more that goes into figure choices, who gets done and in what line when etc than people think.

Action Figure Attack how do you feel about a WCW ultimate edition black singlet Bret Hart to knock both survivor series and WCW version at same time?

I’m just speaking in general about FTITL figures.

They'll be able to make Warrior figures forever...I don't see Dana having a falling out with WWE. Jake on the other hand currently works for a different company, so his future is up in the air. Jake signed his likeness rights over to WWF in 1992 as one of the conditions of his release - so I don't think we'll be seeing Jake disappear from the line anytime soon. I don't think that is correct. He had Vince over the barrel and got out of his contract by saying he wouldn't wrestle at WrestleMania 8, and he did it right before the match was about to start. Also, if he signed over his likeness then how was he able to wrestle as Jake the Snake Roberts in WCW - and other places - after that time? I would buy any and all Steiners. Wrestlemania 9 Steiners particularly. That would be my top want if they were made. They had a lot of cool looks/attires, both as a tag team and as singles stars later in the 90s. I hope they get figures with this deal. I hope they would come with the Michigan jackets (though they probably couldn't add the "M") and the WWF tag team titles (even though its not accurate to the event).
