There have been 9 sets a year for the past few years, Elite 90 would be the first set of 2022 It should be the first "2022" set in terms of packaging and retail presence. But RSC has E89 set for early Oct delivery. It would be pretty surprising if they didn't receive E90 before the end of 2021. It doesn’t matter when RSC gets them, it’s a 2022 set. The boxes dictate the year and it’s always been like that. Unless they finish making that set in the next 29 days (or there’s some contract clause allowing it beyond that) he won’t make the cut. I don’t think he’s gonna make it, they’re probably making Elite 89 right now |

How long after her release did Chelsea Green's figure still get released? It feels like a long time after. I don't know how far along in development Bronson Reed is but I'm still optimistic that his figure will still see life.

How long after her release did Chelsea Green's figure still get released? It feels like a long time after. I don't know how far along in development Bronson Reed is but I'm still optimistic that his figure will still see life. She was called up to the main roster (she was injured on her Smackdown debut) so I'm assuming she was under the 90 no-compete, which puts her end date at 7/15. I think her fig was released before then.
I would guess that the figure has to be pretty far along (produced/shipped/packed from China) by the end of the no complete in order for it to be released. It's possible that they might throw some extra money for something like this (and so they dont piss off Mattel since they keep on messing up their plans) if the released wrestler agrees, but I also wouldnt be surprised if WWE really didnt care if planned merchandise was impacted.

That said, I don't believe we've even seen finished product on Bronson, so I'm not holding out hope for this one especially with him being NXT and never officially hitting the 90-day Main Roster clause.

Elite 89 is due in October so it may be possible if that figure is completed and on a shipping container on it's way from China for a November or December release.

Like, I can feel it in my bones that that is what is going to happen. There is the biggest knot in my stomach over it and every time the releases start dropping, my heart starts pounding. Kevin I'm slightly less worried about but he isn't safe either. (Although if we don't get a new Kevin elite it won't gut me. We just got E80 and the couple basics, I could survive off customizing those. But I *need* a new Sami, I am not that good a customizer to make him.)
The past three weeks of Smackdown have only made it so much worse.

I don’t know if it’s accurate but a while back there was talk about Sami’s contract ending around September of this year. |

But RSC gets their figures shipped via air so they get them pretty quick after the wave is done being produced. So I’m sure anyone in the waves after 89 that got cut won’t be in there. |
