All my AEW figures have some issue. Whether its an odd spot/stuff or a missed paint app

I work at Walmart and we got 3 cases of Series 5. I didn't buy any because I only want the chase, but I am noticing AEW is releasing way too many figures. I think thats why the QC issue is happening.

This is typical Jazwares, I honestly felt they were batting a bit over their average wit ph the first few AEW lines. What we’re getting now is vintage Jazwares. This company has never made the best figures,

I've seen a lot of AEW series 4-6 over that last week or two, the skin tones are horrendous. I thought they fix that after series one? It's very inconsistent between characters. Series 6 Shida looks good, but series 6 MJF is 2-3 different shades of some odd tan and gray color.

I am noticing more issues lately. The Jake Hager I got has two different sized sleeves on his hoodie. I just received Miro from RSC and the front of his trunks where it is supposed to say Miro, the letters are not painted right and looks more like MioO. Jazwares doesn't seem to care. They don't really do anything for you unless a figure is actually broken. If I find Unmatched in stores I'll trade my Miro in for another one.

Series 6 Shida looks good, but series 6 MJF is 2-3 different shades of some odd tan and gray color. This is my biggest problem with the newer waves. Hager has the same issue with his skin tone. I have him with the rest of the IC, and he looks like some kind of weird Frankenstein. I'm also still pretty furious about Santana's torso being a different color than every other part in the line. I want to throw it away every time I look at it, but I'm trying to be patient for their repaints, which hopefully fixes the problem. And for those that don't remember, Jeremy said they changed factories after Series 2. Not sure anyone expected that change to be for the worse. Series 2 seemed kind of perfect to me. Maybe they should have stuck with the original factory. I also think there has been a dip in design quality for both Series 6 and the first Unmatched wave. Dustin and Shida are both excellent, but the rest have issues or have better attempts from a previous series imo. I'm more excited about the on-air product than ever before. It's a shame the figures are regressing. Hopefully they can get it together before some of my biggest wants in Brodie and Statlander get to us.

I've noticed an incredible decrease in quality since around series 3 (Darby's ankles are so weak) but really hitting its peak with series 5/6. Nearly every figure in series 5 is tremendously loose, and SCU/Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus will have undoubtedly f'ed up my display by the time I get home from work today. In 6, Hager has multiple dye spots from the shirt in addition to joint issues, and the coloration on MJF is just sickly.
From a financial perspective, I've cut down to picking and choosing for AEW. I was collecting everything but these issues have made displaying them not really "fun" anymore. I've gone from preordering whole sets on RSC to grabbing one from Unmatched Series 1 and two from Unrivaled Series 6.
If I were confident in qualty, I'd have ordered 4 of 6 in Unrivaled series 7...Instead I've purchased none. I really hope they get it together.

I’d love to know what happened to s4 Cody’s Shirt. Did the colour ink run out on the printer or something? It looks awful. They should rerelease that shirt in the future with actual red and blue colours not faded green and orange.

Not sure if it's been pointed out yet, but the Series 6 Penta head paint job is wrong compared to the attire it's supposed to be. Not sure if that's a QC control issue or just an oversight though.

The quality quickly decreased, Unrivaled series 1 felt great from a plastic standpoint. The figures joints felt stiff and were very posable. About series 3 I think is when the rubbery joints started coming into play and now they feel really flimsy and posing them or playing with them makes it feel like the arms are going to break off. I know others have complained about this, not sure why they started using a different grade plastic for the joints.

The QC has been pretty consistently solid for me. I got S5 Jurassic Express this week and didn't notice the issues on materials others have mentioned and the joint movement felt the same for me.
But I do feel like there has been a lot of testing something and changing for such a young line. Shuffling designers. Changing how the belts are produced. Tinkering with the plastics. I appreciate trying to make changes and get things right. But it feels like they're playing around too much for such a new line.

You can absolutely tell the difference. Series 1A and 2 are really good quality. 3 is where the decline started. I don't think it's awful but MAN sometimes I am afraid to do any dynamic posing just in case the looser joints start to give out.

I feel like each set is different, I’ve had something from all except 1B
1A was decent, I had the loose ankle Omega as is common
2 was stiff, Dustin and Mox especially in the arms and shoulders, MJF and Fenix were good, Penta had a loose forearm
3 was ok, PAC was loose at the waist, Young Bucks at the bicep swivel, OC and Darby were great. After a while Darby hand pegs are loose
4: Cody and Ortiz loose at the waist, Matt Hardy was loose all around, Santana, Omega and Guevara were good
5: Kazarian was stiff at the leg joints but the upper was good
6: Jericho had a loose arm and legs, Fenix has loose shoulders, Penta is overall looser but not horrible, Hager and MJF good
Unmatched 1: no issues, maybe Miro waist on the looser side
Unmatched 1 definitely had the best QC, everything felt good not too loose or tight

I feel like Unmatched 1 was great quality again (apart from not being able to bend Dustin’s torso forward). Hopefully Series 7 will match that.

Yeah it definitely varies set to set. But other than Unrivaled 4 feeling really fragile and my first Dustin’s arm breaking off I haven’t really had problems. If you handle them with care and know that the arms can break if you’re too rough then you won’t have a problem.
I’ve noticed the paint is much better on later sets. Unrivaled 1-3 had me always worried the paint would rub off (the red around Dustin’s shoulders had rubbed off onto his underarms and early Codys had that problem where the designs would smear off) but ever since Series 4 I’ve felt the paint is applied better and they have a much better sealer.
