As a Warrior fan, I wouldn't mind the third release IF they got his hair right before the match and after.
We needed the big poofy "I wanna speak to the manager" Karen hair before the match/promos and the stringy wet hair after the match when he is holding up the two belts.
Missed opportunity to give us accurate hair, which is usually my only complaint for Warrior figures.

Nah I love the ultimate warrior choice, those elites are so outdated, so with new technology of course I want a new wm 6 warrior I tend to agree. I'm sure some of it has something to do with value of previous versions dropping, as the ultimate will be the new definitive version of it. Take WM 12 HBK for example. They made 3 versions. (Entrance greats, Elite, new garbage basic 2 pack) I would hop on an ultimate version with soft goods entrance gear and new heads etc. Yes I myself would welcome a good wm 12 version of hbk |

The eg basic was really good. They had the right shade of gold and the knee pads. The elite not so much

The UE will use the exact same attire and head (the True FX will make little to no difference) and we already have both belts. The only difference will be the UE style articulation. It just seems a wasted opportunity to get the 4th release/version of an attire, when we could have gotten something new. 🤷♂️ |

They could have updated the duster and add the tassels that weren't on the DM figure.   They could also update the hair and make it more blonde.  |

WM6 Warrior won because that's his most iconic attire and a probable UE edition meant possibly getting that yellow IC strap. Remember that poll was taken before the RR90 Warrior was revealed.
If WCW Hulk had won, I doubt there would been a huge difference in what were getting with the WM9 Hulk other than the big gold belt and the bandana.

All the Hogan choices were kind of underwhelming though, so I didn't mind too much (I'd have probably bought it, whatever won). I'd have LOVED that green trunks Ultimate Warrior to have won... the Jeff is just so boring though, like there are dozens of looks that im sure people would have preferred to get the "Ultimate" treatment, than just plain black tank top, white/green armbands, and a simple facepaint |

The facepaint was the main difference, but I prefer the one we got over the other two (it also meant we could get the WWE title included too 😄). |

I don’t remember anything like that outside the Hulk Still Rules run he had as Hollywood Hogan in WWE post-WM18 in 2002, when he still had the stubble painted black. I don’t remember him having blonde stubble at any point, but someone else might be better placed to comment. I’ve said before that I’m surprised they didn’t just give us fans three Hollywood Hogan looks to choose from if they knew that the budget meant they had to re-use the stubble heads - they could’ve easily offered-up something like: 1. Wolfpac Hollywood 2. WrestleMania 18 Hollywood 3. Hulk Still Rules Hollywood All three would’ve been valid looks and could all basically have been repaints of the series 7 Hollywood with different accessories like the red paint Big Gold or the Undisputed title, etc. Even the weight belt would’ve fit with them, which it doesn’t with the WM9 one. I’m sure they had their reasons, but for the top line they have to have an issue like the unpainted stubble is a really bad look I think. They must not have known they’d need to re-use the heads at the time they drew-up the project. |
