I just think it’s so silly that target/Mattel would choose to have a figure with a chase variant as online only. I’m sure they have their reasons but it would’ve made more sense to have the figure with the chase be in stores. If we get full cases of a certain character the odds of us finding a chase in store goes up greatly and no one would stress buying the other 2 online because the figures are what they are. I hope this won’t be a future decision they do for the following series More collector friendly? Sure. But Beefcake is super high deco AND has a softgoods jacket. Vader and Cena are both pretty low deco figures. And I'm guessing that the figures that were readily available in store and online are being produced in higher quantities than the online-only. It's about profit margins, not convenience for collectors. |

The legends series is aimed mostly at collectors so making the correct decisions as to what figure is made more readily available would equal more profits for the company. I’m 100% sure that if Vader and cena were made online only they would sell the same amount of units as they did in store with much less frustration from customers. If beefcake and ddp were in store every collector would have a pretty decent shot at landing the chase version instead of having to order a half dozen of them online in hopes of landing both versions. Happy customers are how companies make the most profit |

I’ve seen every legends in stock at my local Target since they restarted the line. However I’ve been stocking my Mercari balance in preparing for Hall and Nash. I need 2 Halls and 3 Nash’s.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but Targets website in “The Collectors Spot” section has new reveals each weekday for new and previously released collectible toys… possible that these two will end up being on one of the days, and it runs the length of the month

Just got the dreaded email to approve a delay (the last time I approved a delay they cancelled the order the second I approved it). It looks like it worked this time though - new estimate is 7/27/21.
You guys might want to check your emails or order history on Target.

yeah i got the delay approval too. i dont care if its delayed, as long as i actually get them.
im really not worried about these, everyone freaked out over Vader and he was plentiful. im sure Target didn't order 100 cases of each of DDP and Brutus. and everyone will be able to order their 6 Beefcakes hoping for a chase, soon

I got the delay approval and it went through fine. I'm not worried yet, as my Vader went through a whole back and forth of backorder and preparing to ship and back to backorder before finally arriving.

I don't think there's any reason for concern. If these are online-only as Steve has said, there should be more than enough to fill pre-orders. It's not like some people are getting them and others are getting delays. There is probably some kind of shipping delay that is holding them up for everybody.
