The shine is definitely something unique on the hasbro figures. I still have mine as a kid which have gone through each of my 3 kids hands too at different points and still all in one piece. They’re bricks of toys! Literally only the punch ones (el matador etc) have broken actions. There’s so much about those figures past nostalgia factor which makes em great. There’s intangibles that no company - probably even hasbro themselves can’t replicate. Motu for instance was an iconic form factor but was also easily replicated. Ditto the Joe or Kenner Star Wars.. Hasbros just hit something special. I agree with the sentiment that they’re bricks EXCEPT Rockers Shawn Michaels. I’ve owned two in my life and the left arm broke on both. I had Warrior #2’s arm break, faulty mechanisms in Rocker Marty and tag team pack Luke. In recent years I had Warlord fall and break a finger off. I’m sure there are a few more (like body slamming figures going loose). I also have a green card Billy Gunn with a head that spins with a mild gust. Both Natural Disasters have problems standing…and so on.

What about me? What about my Raven Review? http://instagram.com/p/CyTl7g7LcVX The Good:The Bad:As a whole, this figure looks really, really cool. But once you get past the initial pose and remove the accessories, things kind of take a detour. In order to make the figure appear normal, it looks as though Zombie and his design team made Raven smaller so that when you put on his jacket, it looks natural. Once that jacket comes off, you begin to notice how tiny the torso really is. The articulation is a good concept but not something I am a fan of. The peg hole in the right thigh is ugly. The arms on my figure have an adequate amount of resistance but don’t seem to want to bend in the positions I would have preferred. The shots of Raven sitting felt wrong. I pulled up many reference photos and realized why: there is no knee articulation. He wasn’t known for sitting in the corner with both legs spread; one knee was always bent upward with one foot on the mat and the other sticking out. As mentioned earlier in this thread, Raven’s wingspan is identical to Texas Tornado’s but it looks off when he has no jacket. The appearance of longer arms is due to the skinny torso. Tornado and others have a broader chest/shoulder/armpit area that the arm flows out of. So How Do They Measure Up?:Final VerdictAt the end of the day, this is still a really nice figure to have in any collection. There are definitely flaws. I go back and forth on the face (which cost it half a point). Between that, the undersized and oversized parts, and kind of wonky articulation, Heels and Faces Series 2 Raven gets an 8.0/10. Where’s that ecw belt from? I believe the OSFTM ECW Shane Douglas. Very close. It is from a series 1 Taz. Here are some photos from other sources showing that belt and then the Mike Awesome version: imgur.com/a/xu0vy3m

On the other figures, the mechanism for the action would break somewhat easy, but it took some doing to break off an arm for me.

Yeah... I'm not paying that much for a Todd Pettengill figure.

Got a Pettingzoo, man with shipping and only getting one or two figs per release from Zombie, these are getting pricey.
At least Mitch's US shipping is free, so it doesn't hurt to much ordering them all one at a time.

I scooped up Todd the second he went on sale. No idea why I was so excited; maybe it’s the perception of exclusivity/FOMO? Either way, I will be happy to get him!
It definitely sucked price-wise. Wish I could have bundled that with Black Friday Andre or something.

I got one of each. Zombie’s site is always a smooth checkout experience for me. I don’t know where I stand yet on limited variants. I’m glad both Smart Marks were available at the same time so I could save on shipping, but I would be perfectly okay with not having multiple versions of guys in suits.

Yeah, anybody non-wrestler is just FOMO for me at this point. It's just not in my Hasbro "paradigm" to want non-wrestlers.

What's up with the 'Hasbro shine'? Some folk are saying this is what's missing from retro releases, then Zombie makes figures with this shine and it is seen as a bad thing now? Feels more like a slick than a shine on some of them. It especially stands out on Bundy as he's so pale. I'm not opposed to shine, though, but maybe a little more subtlety.
