Does anyone have any Thundercats figs they collect? I had a few when I was younger. I was looking into of the newer lines and noticed they have 8 inch, 6 inch, and mini figs. Any opinions on any of them? Thanks guys.

Dude! Mattel will be releasing a Thundercats Classics line in 2016 over at Matty Collector. You will need to subscribe for it though but it should be amazing with pics already of Lion-o and Jackalman.
I collected the old figures from the 80s and had quite the collection still MOC before I sold them a few years back...made a small fortune as well from those, I had the Driller MOC, Sword of Omens MOC, Jaga MOC and many others. Great cartoon as was the remake.
I suggest you definetely subscribe for Thundercats classics when they get released in 2016, they will be done in the same mold and scale as the Masters of the Universe figures in my signature.
Thundercats was my fave cartoon growing up, im a die hard fan.

Wow awesome news man! Thanks. Thundercats were awesome back in the day. Do you think I'll be able to snag a few without the subscription? I just found out they were doing a new MOTU line as well. I can't afford the subscription but am hoping I can pick some up the day the go on sale. Guess I'm gonna be in the same boat with Thundercats now. Just saw the pics and they look great. Dude! Yea you'll be able to buy some on the day of sale on Matty Collector however I expect them to sell out really quick, theres many times where MOTU figures are put on on day of sale and they are gone within the hour sometimes much less! Itll be no different with the anticipated excitement for Thundercats Classics. The figures with the new MOTUC sub based on the filmation cartoon is actually a lot cheaper than buying them on day of sale, the figures will be $20 with the sub and $25 without the sub so you will actually save money if you sub with the new MOTUC sub and it will probably be the same prices for the upcoming Thundercats sub. More people sub the better though, without the expected numbers there will no sub and no figures

Any opinions on any of them? Thanks guys. I also had a couple of Thundercats figures when I was little, I loved the show! Currently, I'm waiting for Mattel's new line next year...They look amazing and I hope that the collection lasts long enough to get all the core cats and a few supporting characters...So far, they only revealed Lion-O, Jackalman, and Exclusive Mumm-Ra!

The Lion-o head sculpt has been changed, the new pics are more cartoon accurate with a lighter skin tone. Im glad they changed it, the original was slightly off I thought.

If Tygra is confirmed as one of the remaining 3, I'm 100% doing the subscription for these. I've never done it with MOTU but that's because I never wanted to collect everything with He-man. I more or less just wanted to pick and choose who I wanted and that got frustrating to me. With Thundercats though, knowing I should be able to get virtually all of my major wants inside two years, I'm all in on these.
Also, Willy, Bandai did Classics in 8" Lion-O and Tygra, and then a 6" Lion-O and Mumm-Ra, and they're all awesome. I'm sure the Mattel figures are going to be top notch, but those are quality figures at a relatively inexpensive price if you want something to hold you over. I prefer the 6" Lion-O because of scale and the growl scan but all four figures are great and worth owning imo.
But yeah, I'm really excited for the Matty line.

Is Mattel planning on releasing a Snarf? He's not confirmed yet but I think he'll definitely be in the line somewhere. Not sure if they're going to try and stick him with Lion-O right out of the gate or not but that would be ideal. I'm hoping since the sub period for MOTU is now closed that we'll start getting more Thundercats news.

Thundercats Sub period starts today (9am PST) for anyone who is interested. I'll be buying one: www.clubs.mattycollector.com/store/mattycol/en_US/pd/ThemeID.29372800/productID.332598000#.VpPXhzY4t9fHere is the lineup for anyone who didn't see yet: Club Figures: Planned releases are as follows (all names and release dates are subject to change): Lion–O™ (07/16) Jackalman™ (08/16) Pumyra™ (09/16) Club-exclusive: Mumm–Ra (09/16) Panthro™ (10/16) Grune™ (11/16) Jaga™ (12/16) That lineup is pretty damn awesome as far as I'm concerned. I wanted Tygra right away but the lineup is all major wants for me. Can't wait to get these, and see the rest, likely at ToyFair.

no tygra, cheetara, willykit/willykat, or slythe? or r they probably holding them for year 2? Definitely in year 2. Year 2 locks will be: Tygra Cheetara Mumm-Ra EL Slythe I'm honestly not sure what they'll do with Wily Kit/Cat. They could potentially come together. We'll see. I want Bengali pretty badly too. I don't think this is going to be anything like MOTU though. We're likely getting a few years with awesome lineups and then it will really slow down or just be done. Also, the date switched from today to TBA. So somebody messed up. They should be on-sale soon though. I'll be ready with cc in hand haha.

So Mattel pulled a Mattel. The sub is live but we are only getting 5 figures instead of 7 now. Grune and Jaga seemed to have been delayed. Plus, the price is $30 per figure instead of $25. I did the single ship option. It's $179 total for all 5 figures plus shipping and tax. They only charge you the $30 today, even though it looks like you pay the full $179 when you check out. Regardless, I'm excited. I love Thundercats so I'll put up with Mattel's sh*t to get this line. www.clubs.mattycollector.com/store?Action=DisplayHomeOffersPage&Env=BASE&Locale=en_US&SiteID=mattycol#.Vpk5iDYVB9cThe Sub period ends on 2/26.

Is it safe to assume it will be in the ball park of $360 for 2 subscriptions if I do single shipping, only paying $60 up front? How does it break down. When I ordered a filmation 2.0 I was able to see how much s/h was. And what's up with the tax? It was like $5, for what?

When I ordered a filmation 2.0 I was able to see how much s/h was. And what's up with the tax? It was like $5, for what? The 5 figures are $150 as a subtotal since they are $30 each. So figure $300 right there. I paid $19 for shipping and $10 for tax, which is 6% sales tax in Florida since that's where I live. My guess is that your shipping won't be double that $19 amount. At worst you could assume you're looking at $360 total though yeah. I think you can try and checkout with two subs and it will tell you your total plus shipping and tax before you actually submit the order. But yes, they would charge you $60 today. It would actually be $63-ish with tax since they charge the tax along the way. I'm probably just going to buy an extra single figure of Lion-O this first go-round to keep moc. So I'll try and do that with my favorite characters. My fear is that Bengali is going to be a sub exclusive at some point and I'm going to have to buy two subs because of it when that happens. I'd love two subs every year for this to keep a full set moc but I can't justify spending the money, to my wife anyway haha.

While I would like to collect these I don't have the room. So I will just get Lion-O and Tygra when he gets released the next year.

Very disappointing to hear Mattel have raised the prices to $30. On what justification? In fact If I recall a lot of months back I could have swore I read somewhere that these figures were actually going to be $20! We still also dont know if Mattel will be raising shipping costs and If they do Ill be gutted. I thought with how cheap oil is these days that we would be seeing the discounts on figures but instead Mattel do the opposite and raise their prices.
Saying all that, this is Thundercats so count me in for a sub.

New pictures up for the remaining figures apart from Mumm-ra. They look amazing!! Ive high hopes for this line, according to a video on youtube the four horsemen were interviewed and said there will also be a SDCC Thundercats item and that the Berbils will be released in amultipack if the line does well!!

I only want Lion-O, will I be able to just buy him? Or is the only way to buy these through the sub? Hopefully someone has an idea.

You will be able to buy Lion-O on day of sale but it can be tricky, the scalpers come in and buy loads and they usually sell out in a minute or two. Especially it being Lion-O and the first release. Good luck. You should always sub though to support the line and it will encourage Mattel to make more.
