I can see myself investing in this line if they release someone I want. Dynamite was before my time of watching wrestling.

If he’s 7 inches - then isn’t that taller than Mattel elites? Dynamite was shorter than Davey, so I’m not sure how that would look.

They just need to clarify. It's VERY obvious they put their head on a Mattel body as an example. The final figure will probably be similar to S7's NJPW rather than a Mattel. Hope they work on the face too. Looks a bit too FTC.

The above has a point, listen short of Mattel getting the license to Dynamite Kid that was the only way this figure would have been made available. There are people buying two Davy Boys and putting a Jakks Dynamite head on the thing to get Dynamite in their figure collections. Chella is trying to fill the void, the finished product is what you should base an argument on, I have total respect for Chella in under two years to create a retro and elite style line is unreal. They obviously keep investing into their product, and if the Dynamite retro design it anything to go by I can’t wait to see what they do for an elite style. They are bringing it.

If they come out looking exactly like Mattel elites I’d be all for this line. However, my fear is dropping $52 up front and I end up with figures more like from the line we aren’t allowed to speak about.

And the folds in the trunks are in the same place than on the Mattel's Davey and other figures. If they can get away with it, then good for them, I guess? All they did was scan an Elite, make a couple digital edits and call it theirs. It's a $52 bootleg. Who cares? Y’all btch if it’s not accurate then btch when it is accurate. Just hope it’s close to an elite and we get figures Mattel can’t make. Nobody is moaning that they look accurate, what are you talking about? The ignorance on this forum is astounding at times. The problem is they are giving a false impression of what their product is by using a figure mold that doesn't belong to them. If their digital sculpt is different, that's perfectly fine. But if it's identical to Mattel's then this line gets shut down, and nobody wins. The thing people don't understand is we ALL want this line to exist. We're not complaining for the sake of it, we're complaining because we want it to be 100% legit and not a knock off that's going to risk getting shut down.

I'm honestly pretty impressed how close it is to Mattel. If nothing else it'd probably be worth it for the head alone if you're a real stickler for uniformity though.

Why don’t y’all figure cops sit back and wait for something to release? Nobody is shutting this line down.

I am excited for this figure, and Chella are doing this right, they must have the wheels in motion, I am even pumped about what potential packaging would be because these are top quality in the retro line. I understand peoples points with the painted photo possibly being a Mattel Davy but to me this is a company excited to share news and get people excited about what they are doing. They have clarified it’s going to be a different designed with the 3D render, so for a prototype purpose it’s fair game to get the point across. Looking forward to see the development and f this figure.

I wasn’t going to order since I’m not really an Elite collector but have all the Chella Retros so placed an order for a couple of these to support Chella and their efforts. I do actually have a couple of the recent Davey Boy figures so combining them together is a natural move.
Looking forward to seeing the Adam Bomb figure once they get around to him.

Yikes, looks more like Robert from Every Body Loves Raymond than Dynamite Kid to me! LOL. Yeah I’ll stick with my custom from that guy who makes the custom heads (name is escaping me). I do wish them luck in the line though, but I’ll pass on this one.

Looks pretty close to Mattel which works. Like I say for all these lines, if they make a Dan Severn, I’ll buy it.

They have a color mock-up of Dynamite, it definetly looks like an Elite.

Are we 100% sure the Dynamite Kid mock-up wasn't done on a Mattel body? I sent them asking how these will be manufactured and got no response. Can't imagine they are 3D printing every figure; the price is way too low for that

Cool that they already have a image of how the figures will look like and I am amazed with how close they are going to be to the elites when it comes to style and sculpt. I would be interested in a Nick Aldis figure in that style. I wish the best for this line as it is awesome that Chella seems to be making the effort in filling the gaps is some of our collections.
