Happy superstar saturday everyone! wow, the COLD has set in by us. we dipped down to freezing temps last night, not ready for this yet! summer left like it owed me money ππ didnt really have any cool figure receivings this week other than taking advantage of a price match between Target and Walmart to stock up on some Star Wars Black Series Dark Troopers. Looking at my photos, i have the Ruthless Aggression series one queued up next for some thoughts and reviews π€ but today i wanted to share some thoughts and pics on.... HoF Ultimate Warriorthis was a super lucky purchase as i was able to snag this figure loose on ebay for $20 shipped. it was a 'late night find it in the newest listings' catch and i am glad. This ultimate warrior figure just might be my favorite warrior elite at the moment because i absolutely love the attire and the colorscheme of the figure. this warrior come to us in black trunks with neon colored warrior logos on the front and 'out of control' in neon lettering on the back. this theme continues onto the kneepads as we see 'ultimate' and 'warrior' printed on both his left and right kneepads. this figure features the older style of warrior kneepads and arm tassels where they are unfortunately not pinned and only stay in one position. the tassels are very cool complementing yellow/blue green/pink colorscheme and the boot tassels are yellow/pink/green/orange; very bright, very neon, very warrior. the headsculpt on this figure looks great! we see a grimacing warrior, bearing teeth and a long mane of hair accented with lighter highlights. i love the facepaint on this warrior; black/yellow/green and blue. all very cool complementing colors. now this figure was meant to portray warriors attire at summerslam 1990, therefore he also come with the super rad light blue strapped winged eagle championship. i liked that warrior was able to bring in new belt strap colors for the titles he possessed, some came out looking really cool. all in all this warrior figure is definitely worth the buy. i know i reviewed subjectively as a figure but it is a recreation of the SS90 attire and it is really pretty spot on for that. the formula is classic ultimate warrior, but i really dig the headsculpt they chose for this figure, also the highlights in the hair look cool. That's a great find. This is also one of my favorite Warrior's as well. They did an excellent job on this one.

Happy figure friday everyone! it got real nice out for the weekend! im so grateful for this last little burst of warmth before we go back to 40-50F weather. Today im gonna start sharing my thoughts and pics of the Ruthless Aggression series 1 i love the concept of this series; i grew up right in the heat of the style transition and i remember buying all of series 1 from a certain mail order catalog....because i didnt have internet. ill bring this up in later reviews, but as a kid i was HEAVY into my fig fedding and i regularly photoshopped together a magazine for my fed. when i bought these new RA figures i remember hyping the F out of the characters as they were mostly all new debuts to my fed. (shawn michaels exclued ofcourse as he didnt come in RA form until way later) Shawn Michaelsi always get super excited for shawn michaels figures because as a kid i NEVER could find a shawn figure anywhere. i think the first shawn figure i had in offical ring gear was the Classic Superstars series 1 shawn. i had this weird shawn figure i bought at the flea market from the 'ripped and ruthless' series, but that figure royally sucked. fast forward to being a teen working at wal-mart--i hadnt watched wrestling for a hot minute, but i was asked to stock toys for the day and i saw a box of something called "deluxe aggression" figures. opened it up and there was a Shawn Michaels figure in red tights. i gasped and hid the figure to buy later on π
this mattel figure reminds me of that moment, but i know the attires were completely different. this is the third(?) RA era shawn figure that we've gotten recently, which is amazing-mattel please keep slotting him in lines. this Shawn comes to wearing red and white long pants with red cross designs on the legs. the cross designs are really detailed and if you also look closely they added a silver zipper going down the middle of the pant leg.the headsculpt on this figure looks good, but boy is it bland. shawn looks completely dead inside. i also feel like his hair is a little too light of a brown color, but to be honest it really seems reminiscent of his RA figures. it would be super cool to see some new headsculpts for this era of shawn because they killed it with the newest shawn fan takeover ultimate. for accessories, we got interchangeable hands and a black ring bell, reminiscent of the one included with the RA figure this one is based on. all in all this is a GREAT HBK figure. as i mentioned, this is our 3rd RA era shawn and they all have been great figures. the addition of the double jointed arms and trueFX are always a welcome feature on characters that we havent seen in a while, or dont get to see often. keep the shawns coming, mattel.

Wrapping up the reviews today for the Ruthless Aggression Series 1 Brock LesnarAn obvious choice for the Ruthless Aggression era line and a must have in series 1 is in fact the beast incarnate; Brock Lesnar. for me, as a collector, i already have a few flashback elite brocks, so i had mixed feelings about buying this figure. im fairly certain that we have seen this exact brock figure before, but its a great opportunity for newer collectors to get a flashback brock with double jointed elbows and the sweet Undisputed championship. this brock comes to us in the classic elite brock formula. i really do wish they wouldve changed the design on the back of the tights because we have already seen this design before. another suggestion i would have made for this figure would have been to give him the headscan from the basic figure that was in the hall of fame line. that headscan does portray a really young brock, but i think it is similar enough to the original RA Brock head that i think it would have looked great, im planning a headswap. there isnt really too much else to get into with this brock figure. if this figure had seen a mainline release i think adding elbow pads or some rib wrap would be cool because brock sported those looks for a period, but as a release to celebrate the RA figure line of old, this is a great offering regardless. all in all, if you need a classic Brock for the collection, this is great, but if youve already collected every brock to this point, i could see saving some money and passing on this figure.

Happy Superstar Saturday everyone! i have had a bunch of really cool purchases trickling in as of late. i have been absolutely KILLING it on ebay, i have bought a handful of older figures for EXACTLY the price i wanted to get them for and ive been really stoked about that. otherwise its starting to really feel like the end of the year around here, the leaves have all fallen and now so are the temps π it was an incredible summer for me, im looking forward to the winter months to get back into my indoor hobbies for a bit. TODAY THOUGH, WE'RE RUNNING WITH THE WOLFPAC Ringside Wolfpac Hulk Hoganmy VERY FIRST wrestling figure ever was the Toybiz nWo Hulk Hogan figure. i have a huge spot for anything nWo let alone nWo Hogan, so this figure was an absolute must have. im really glad that we're able to get hogan figures in this era of collecting; interchangeable hands and heads, double jointed elbows, ultimate editions! This Ringside Exclusive Hogan i believe is an effort to recreate an infamous attire that Hogan is pictured wearing on the box art. We get Hollywood Hogan sporting the nWo red logos on his bandana, tshirt and boots while wearing black tights with white smoky designs on the legs. the unique thing about this hogan is that we get some new interchangeable hands included; he is wearing his iconic hollywood fingerless biker gloves and the details are sculpted onto the hands. mattel included some holding hands and wolfpac hands; both look great. my biggest knock on this figure is the freaking torso choice. so i could somewhat understand the torso choice if they had gone with a rubber shirt, we know this is done to accomodate the thickness of the shirt, but this figure was given a nice softgoods shirt, yet still uses the whack body recipe where there is a HUGE gap around the waist of the figure. i guess that i could agree that Hogan was not the same size in the 90's that he was in the 80's but he still had a unique torso size and i dont agree with this torso for him. beyond that, mattel should have done the kneepads differently; i appreciate the effort they went through to continue the tights design onto them, but he actually wore black kneepads with white trim during this look. the Belt included is a white strapped Hollywood belt; the design and lettering looks great, i just wish they had really made a cleaner looking design for the closure of it because it looks kinda lame to just see those pegs exposed in the front of the figure. all in all, despite the torso choice, i do like this figure. im a sucker for anything nWo and im glad that mattel is providing us with these figures while they can. we've been getting our fair share of classic WWF era Hogans and its cool for them to toss us a WCW era hogan aswell. this figure helps us fill out our nWo Wolfpac roster, im looking forward to digging all of my figures out and taking a group shot.

Happy figure friday everyone! sad to say but i dont have any cool figures coming in today πͺ i want to pop out for a figure hunt today, but i dont think itll prove to be fruitful, im actually feeling pretty well caught up on recent releases i just need to button up the survivor series elites from target. i checked some tracking numbers and ill be getting some cool stuff tomorrow, though! today.....WHO'S THAT POPPING OUT THE SKY?! R-E-Y MYSTERIO, HERE WE GO! Top Picks Rey Mysteriooutta the gate i want to comment that: holy cow weve been getting a ton of rey figures lately!! i will admit also that its hard to not want to buy them all because they all have been looking pretty great! This Rey figure comes to us decked out in his attire that was an homage to the classic Batman. i LOVE the color scheme of this figure, i was an OG Batman fan myself and i have a soft spot for that classic look. this rey is wearing a dominantly light grey bodysuit with light blue trunks and yellow accents. Rey's actual attire was made of a unique material and it had 'splotches' of darker grey visible throughout--this figure does not portray that detail, but im not mad about it i like the bold light grey. i like the headsculpt that they used for this figure, the serious expression goes great with the Batman vibe. its really hard to NOT love Rey figures, they are proportioned well, they pose well and they just feel like great figures. this rey really does stand out and is unique amongst the other Reys we've gotten lately. honestly my only complaint is that the logo on the chest looks like it was drawn in microsoft paint or something. i dont know, to my eye it just looks like stretched out clip art. all in all i would 100% recommend picking up this Rey figure. its a super unique attire, the colors really contrast well and pop amongst figure lineups.

As far as that Top Picks John Cena goes, I've seen him with the massive arms like you got and I've seen him with smaller arms like he normally gets. Same thing happened with Lex Luger, I saw about 50/50 on those same 2 types of arms.

Happy Saturday Y'all! Got a few things showing up today in the mail, im really excited! ive always strived to buy my figures within a certain price range; i know some collectors really dont mind and will pay up just to have it right away--i have acted that way for a select few figures, but i dont splurge often at all. i have been KILLING IT on ebay just snapping up figures ive been wanting right at the price i want. i know i mentioned this in a previous post aswell, but really im so excited about that. some people let their hobbies get the best of their wallets and im happy to say that ive secured some great deals over the past few weeks. today im gonna start sharing my pics and review of the Summerslam Dominic Mysterio BAF series!! Randy OrtonThis was one of my most anticipated figures from this series, im a big fan of early Legend Killer era Randy Orton figures and ill buy all of them every time. This is an absolutely iconic attire, i do feel like the trunks are a bit too "orange" as some have said the color was more of a "orange cream" but regardless it still looks epic in elite form. i really like the tattoo size and placement on this figure, i compared it to the fan takeover orton we recently got and the tattoos look kinda whack on that figure. this figure was given elbow pads-which are accurate for the time and attire. it was also given the new "orton pose" hands which i love and finally we got the classic Big Gold championship with this figure. The entire package of this orton figure just looks so freaking good; the orange trunks, posed hands, big gold belt, i can just see him during that crazy entrance at the time of all the gold sparks coming down around him. all in all i have 0 complaints about this randy orton figure. im not picky enough about the trunks color to knock this figure at all, the headsculpt looks amazing, the tattoos look great, we got posed hands and double jointed elbows on this figure...just go out and buy it right now!!!

happy figure friday! happy BLACK Friday! i hope everyone was able to allocate their moneys to their greatest desires this year π i did pretty decent on the Ringside Black Friday sale catching a bunch of new elite figures for ~$19.99/ea. i didnt really splurge on too much else this year. Continuing the Summerslam Dominik Mysterio BAF series reviews: Shawn MichaelsWell, speaking of the Heartbreak Kid, our next figure in the series is the kid himself, Shawn Michaels. this Shawn comes to us in his summerslam 2005 attire that he wore in his match against Hulk Hogan. i think this was honestly my most anticipated figure of the wave just for the fact that ive been super happy with the recent Shawn elite figures that mattel has given us lately. this shawn is wearing a predominantly black and white attire; entrance gear included. shawns entrance gear was done well, i wish that they would have been able to get a little silver in on medallions, but they did a good job of nailing the white on them and they molded the gear in a nice pliable plastic/rubber deal. classic elite shawn formula here, nothing really changed especially from the last elite, including the BLAND, DEADPAN headsculpt. i can only imagine this was the face shawn was making the entire time he was being told about working with Hogan π this shown is wearing the black and white chap pants with white medallions adorning the legs and a zipper down the middle of the pant leg. all of the paint apps on my figure were applied cleanly and crisply, everything looks great. for accessories we got interchangeable hands and the entrance gear. all in all, this is probably my favorite figure of the wave just because its a RA era shawn michaels. we do have a close enough era hogan to stand them off against eachother which is cool. my biggest knock on this figure is the headsculpt. it does portray shawn, but it is so bland and deadpan it looks really lame. when lined up againt the other recent RA era shawns, i guess i think this one looks the best. the hair color looks more accurate and the black and white pants with matching entrance gear looks great.

Happy Superstar Sunday!! we're gonna be closing out the Summerslam Dominik Mysterio BAF series today and since i was able to acquire the entire set, ill do a quick ranking of all the figures and basically give my opinion on whether i feel that this set is worth it or not. Rey Mysteriothe final piece to the set is the one and only Rey Mysterio and appropriately representing Summerslam 2005 from the custody match. This rey comes to us in a dark navy blue attire with white logos which i personally really like. this was during the time when rey was sporting the sleeveless top look; not one of my favorite eras for rey but his evolution has been awesome nonetheless. this outfit sees a black and white 619 logo over his heart, 619 going down the left leg and his mask/cross logo on the white leg. this figure and attire feels like it is very bland in terms of rey figures because we're used to seeing those bright colors and tattoos, but i really do kinda dig this figure for how clean and subdued the design was; it was the custody match after all. the ab crunch on my figure is a little loose, otherwise all the rest of the joints and limbs move and operate smoothly. i will also say that all of the paint apps on my figure seem to have been applied cleanly and crisply. all in all, Had this rey not been necessary to complete the BAF wave, i dont think i would have bought it. when i bought this figure, i didnt own the legends eddie figure yet, i have since bought it and i still dont think that completing the pairing for the match would be enough to make me want to buy this rey for the collection. i do like the blue colorway of the figure, but--as i mentioned compared to other rey figures this attire doesnt really pop or show off as much as others do. we have been getting a ton of rey figures across multiple eras lately and IMO this figure and attire just doesnt have that exciting factor for me. Dominik Mysteriothe subject of our BAF wave was the focus of the Summerslam 2005 custody match---Dominik Mysterio! this was a historic first for the wwe mattel line as we got the opportunity to own both the young and modern versions of Dominik in our collections. this figure is really interesting. we get Dominik wearing a softgoods button up shirt, baggy jeans and lugz boots π€£ i feel like most BAFs to this point have been pretty universally wanted across the board. it allows us to get announcers or managers or authority characters IN ADDITION to 4 other in ring talents and the value typically feels worth it. i just feel like this Dominik figure is a novelty that the design team did for the sake of being able to and as a treat to Dominik. i will admit it is cool that we now have the Rey, Eddie and Dominik figures from the match---but i really think youd be hard pressed to find a majority of collectors who had "2005 era dominik mysterio figure" on their wish or want lists. the effort is appreciated though, and i do understand the sentiment that if the end product is not for you, then dont buy it. RANKING So, when this BAF wave was announced, my only WANTS were the Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels figures. i do not have the ringside exc shawn figure so i didnt have a need for the sherri figure, and i frankly thought the rey figure was too bland to warrant a buy. after acquiring the orton and hbk figures, i ended up buying the other two figures on ringside as they were on sale($18.99 /ea). i liked the sherri figure more than i anticipated and the Rey figure is just another addition to the timeline, i suppose. 5. Dominik Mysterio. i appreciate that mattel took advantage of the opportunity to make this figure, but this was an end product that was just not for me. as a collector, its cool that i own this figure now and i think its a cool opportunity for photography, but just being straight i didnt want it, and i wouldnt have voted for it. 4. Rey Mysterio. im not a big fan of the era when rey was sporting this attire look. i do admit that that i like the color and the "clean" look it offers in contrast to other rey figures, but for my personal collection i wouldnt have bought it had it not been needed to complete the BAF. 3. Sensational Sherri. i will admit that i really ended up liking this figure more than i thought. i love all of the details captured on the figure and the unique sculpts that went into making it. it is however another figure that i probably would have passed on had it not been a part of the BAF wave; OR i would have bought it MUCH later on. 2. Shawn Michaels. deciding the top two was really difficult for me. as i mentioned earlier these were basically the only two figures i wanted from the entire wave and they are both really great figures. the deciding factor is my knock on the shawn michaels headsculpt they chose/continue to choose. it is so template bland and expressionless it almost ruins the entire figure. the attire and the execution on the entrance gear are top notch, however. 1. Randy Orton. the shining diamond out of the entire group, Randall Keith Orton, Youngest World Heavyweight Champion at the time. as i mentioned in the review, the entire package of this figure is perfect to me, IMO. those orange trunks, posed hands, elbow pads, big gold belt ππ»ππ»ππ»ππ» its a must have figure no doubt.

Happy figure friday everyone! it was kindof a slow week for everything. i didnt plan well enough for black friday and ended up not really being able to take advantage of ALL the deals i was scoping out. oh well today we're going back to '92E94 Bret Hartkinda would been cooler if he came out in E92? summerslam 92/E92? ok,ok. E94 brought us a brand new Bret Hart figure and chase variant based on his matches with the British Bulldog. I am still searching for a chase figure at the right price, but i am a huge fan of the classic Pink Tights Black top Bret Hart look that this figure come to us wearing. i think the biggest focus of this--and all bret figures is the headsculpt. this one is still in the GOOD, not GREAT category, imo. i think as with most bret figures, the figure looks good with sunglasses but when they get removed-that likeness fades away ever so slightly. this Bret headsculpt looks great from the side but front facing i think the cheeks are too full and the hair on the top of his head is too thin. its CLOSE. i compared it to the oldest bret that i have in my collection and this newest headsculpt is leaps and bound better but still just ever so slightly missing the mark. this figure follows the ever so classic bret formula, no complaints from me on the body recipe they chose. as mentioned, this bret is based on SS 92 and that being said his attire is a faithful recreation featuring a black top with his winged skull logo slightly centered. the black bleeds into the trademark pink tights with flame like designs and stars scattered on the back. Each leg has his nickname the "Hitman" going down surrounded by the flame designs.Mattel gave him pink kneepads, which are accurate and finally Bret is wearing his trademark white spat style wrestling boots. for accessories we got the pink sunglasses, classic IC title and interchangeable hands. all in all this is a REALLY good Bret figure. with each release, i feel like we do get closer to them capturing Bret's likeness a little more gracefully. as a fan, i would always appreciate some softgoods jackets for Bret, but i guess we havent seen that since the DM figure so it might not even be an option at this point. id definitely recommend grabbing BOTH the standard and chase Bret figures for the collection

Happy figure friday everyone! its a blizzard out there today π₯Ά i braved the sleet and the snow this morning for a figure hunt at my local walmart. i was hoping to find the Ruthless Aggression series 2 on the legs and some star wars black series figures--no luck on the RA series but i did find the star wars figs i wanted however--so it wasnt a total loss. anyways.. i was going through my pictures and it looks like i have more figures from E94 than i thought i did, so ....lets just keep talking about those. π
M.S.K - Nash Carter and Wes LeeSO. this is one of those candid moments where i admit that i do not actively watch the wwe product. these two guys are new blood that i am completely unfamiliar with. sometimes there are names of talent that are spoken up about alot and i know OF them, but when MSK was announced for elite figure spots...i had no idea who these guys were. that being said i did a little homework and watched some matches and clips and i think these dudes were pretty good. its a shame that Nash Carter had to be released, but it was an understandable reason given the current 'political/social' climate we exist in. These figures are pretty cool, though. i really like the aesthetic of the lime green and white - not sure if their attire was an homage to X-pac, but thats the vibe im getting. when i was younger playing the Smackdown games, there was a tag team that i made in every game consisting of original characters named SuperNova and Liger (basically RVD and Liger ripoffs i madeπ) but their colorcheme was lime green and white and these figures remind me of that. Nash carter comes to us wearing long tights and kickpads. his headsculpt looks really good, i honestly wanted to buy another one and use the head for a Sami Callihan Custom. he has various tattoos scattered throughout his chest and arms, the color applied to them looks good and the details were captured and applied cleanly and crisply. Wes Lee is also a really cool figure. i dont think ive seen these shorts mold used on a figure before, i really dig the way they look and function. i will say that i do not like the style of boots they chose for the figure. fairly certain he wears standard kickpads so i dont know why they gave him the goofy smooth short boots. i do like the way the rest of the figure feels while posing, the scale and everything just works for this character. all in all, i like these figures alot. the colorcheme and the unique attires really pops and they stand apart when posed among the rest of the roster. given the fact that nash carter is no longer with wwe and for certain reasons, i dont know that you should be clamoring to get these figures in you hands, but they are a cool, unique tag team that stands out.

Happy Saturday everyone! i was down and out all this past week with a cold π·π€π€§ it was a pretty mild cold all around, but i think it was the first time ive gotten sick in 2 or 3 years so it was a bummer for sure. coming in today with an edition of Snow Slays Saturday nope, She slays Saturday! E94 Stephanie McMahon-Helmsleywrapping up my reviews of E94 we have Mrs-McMahon-Helmsley herself, Stephanie. this is honestly a great addition to our attitude era lineups. we had a later era Stephanie release in the Milk-O-Mania pack, but here we finally have the Billion Dollar Princess in her infamous white "SMH: Brains, Beauty and sometimes...B*Tch" t-shirt. the shirt is softgoods, which is awesome! however the small font under the large SMH lettering is kindof bled out and cannot be read. i can tell that it just reads her name: "Stephanie McMahon-Helmsley". the headsculpt on this figure is great! it presents a young Steph really well and the details to her hair are actually perfect, i vividly remember Steph during this era really just making her way as being an onscreen character. im really upset because the paint apps to the face on my figure were botched; her right eye looked like it got blacked π Steph and Bret were REALLY the only two figures i wanted from this line and the poor Steph got botched. this figure is honestly really straightforward, for accessories we got the Womens Championship and some interchangeable pointing hands. they gave steph some red nail polish on her hands. all in all i would absolutely recommend adding this figure to the collection. we badly needed this era of Steph in our collections and; i guess they knocked it out of the park? its a straightforward figure and it turned out great.

got a quick little edition of Superstar Sunday today! gonna ratttle off a few older figure reviews and then i think im gonna roll into the Legends 16 reviews!!! ITS SEXUAL SUNDAY TODAY, BABYFan Central Mark Henrytoday we're talking about Sexual Chocolate Mark Henry. this was one of the best deals that ive gotten for my collection. i was able to score this figure MOC in a figure defender for $40 shipped π€― this figure is basically a repaint of the N.O.D Mark Henry figure, it utilizes the same body recipe and headsculpt. the headsculpt for this figure is GOOD, Mark was indeed sporting a really short cut during this time. this figure brings Mark to us wearing a black singlet with a silver Chocolate logo across the chest. it does go across the ab crunch, so the figure has to be posed just right or the font wont line up. coming up from the legs of the outfit are numerous silver and gold streaks. the colorway continues down onto the boots as we see some cool silver and gold designs in the middle of the boot. i will admit that the legs and ankles are pretty weak for the bulk of this figure and it is prone to toppling over--especially since i mentioned about the chest logo needing to be lined up. my figure needs to be tilted just a bit forward for the font to line up, meaning the ankles really need to be sturdy to support the figure--and theyre really not the best. all in all i really like this mark henry figure. its a great addition to that late attitude era lineup, i think the OG Blue Sexual Chocolate attire would have popped on the shelf a bit more, but i really do dig this silver and gold attire, i remember seeing Mark wrestle in this gear back in the day so it really stokes the nostalges. im also really grateful that i was able to score this figure for such a good deal, nobody was shopping for Marks that day but me i guess π
