I'm a huge comic book fan..I usually pick up at least 5 books a week, and I know there are alot of people from these boards that are into comic books also. I was wondering if there was anyway we can have a forum to discuss ongoing storylines, and upcoming events in the comic book realm.I dont think feel a thread is enough,there are just to many book to cover.

There's like 2 posts (if that) a week about comics. I don't think it's needed, but if Jack wants to make it more power to him. Hell, it would get more new posts than WF: Canada, atleast.

If we got a forum I'd post tons... but right now I don't want to create topic after topic in here about comics cause I know people will get pissed. I have to post on other forums to get my comic fix. I would f'ing love a comic forum here. I get new comics every week so would have plently to talk about. I think it would be a good idea. |

I notice people post and I also see that there arent alot. But there is interest.I thought maybe people didnt feel like it was the right medium to discuss comics.To be honest, I dont feel very comfortable flooding the entertainment forum with marvel and dc talk. But if more people want to talk about comics then cool.Maybe we can start off with a thread, I just thought a thread would create alot of cluster discussion

I don't check out that topic as I don't collect the figures. I see no point in having to pay near £20 to some ebay whore for one figure... but thanks for the tip I'll check out that topic. |

The only reason I don't post about comics is because someone will start bitching. "THIS IS FOR MOVIES AND CD'S NOT COMICS!!"
Then I'll swear..get reported by The Wayans Bros..and uh..it would just be a horrible mess...

Alot of people wont go out looking for it.I dont even surf over to other figures because I dont collect other figures and Im guessing other people dont either. |

I know I was just kidding around...  Why not make a forum for Comics, Books etc. we do seem to get a few book threads... and if there was somewhere to discuss the members who do actual read would probally talk about more. |

Personally I think Comic discussion should be in the Entertainment board because it's more entertainment then a "other: collectible". People usually don't talk about collecting comics they talk about the storys and the comic lines themselves.
Also, there have been several comic related discussions in the Entertainment board and I know I made several a few months back as well and no one complained about me talking about comics. In fact a few people actually joined in. I don't frequent this board so I never even bother with the comic discussion here as I'm not a "collector".
