I know that with WWE elites, you can basically open the box gently and it will stay in take for displaying. Is there a way to open the AEW figures to preserve the box? I haven’t really tried yet, figured I would ask around first.
Thank you!!!

You gotta be careful but yeah it can be done. And remember how to put it back into place properly.

It can be done. Might be hard to keep the card totally impeccable, but not impossible.

If you are taking it out to display why keep the box? Just toss it. It’s not like it can ever be called “Mint in Box” again.

I guess what I should say is that it can be done with care, lots of care, but it’s not designed to be

Sometimes I like the box art and I'll keep an opened box if I don't plan to buy a second. I toss most boxes because they're too generic.

As a collector I like to open the figure to take pictures and pose them but I like to put them back in the box to display so this is a good way of trying to keep the box as mint as possible and take them out

Point A - If anyone is doing this to be dishonest, they can choke.
Point B - I didn't watch the video because the music is grating but if you carefully open the box at the bottom, then slice the blister card at the base, it is possible to (very carefully) slide the inner plastic part out. Then, if you change your mind and want to put them back in the box, you can reverse the process. Once you close it all up again, you won't see the slice at the bottom.
But no, it will never be MOC again.

I get your point, agree to disagree but I think Jazewares should change up the packaging down the road to some similar to their UFC line, the UFC packaging looks more clean and professional looking.

No, the classic superstars style packaging is amazing and shouldn’t ever change, they just need to make it firmer

About the "People do this to be dishonest" - I completely agree. I'm taking the "Emulator Website" approach to this. I'm providing the info with the disclaimer that "If you use this to be commercially dishonest, you're a jerk and you can choke". However, on the off chance that the person really just wants to put the figure back in the box to display (something that I myself have done before in the case of figures I later go back and put into storage) then yes, it's nice to know how to do it. There's a thing I found online once. If you help someone and they take advantage of your help? That's on their character. But if you have the ability to help someone and don't? That's on YOUR character. I choose to help when I can. Oh, and about the packaging style. I really like the AEW packaging and if they never changed the design, I'd be thrilled. But I do wish the packages were sturdier and more consistent. I've seen so many pictures online of box errors, you could have a whole collection just of box-screwups. The design is nice (to me) but making them less fragile would be nice. With all those exposed pieces of cardboard, it's really easy to destroy the package. I have several figures in my collection MOC, but the AEW ones are the only ones I put in defenders because I know if I don't, they'll be wrecked in a day.
