If they are going to do re-releases, it should have been the series 1B Elite Vice Presidents, or the 4 pack of inaugural Champions of AEW, or the 3 pack of TNT Champions and My Jacob Friend's Dynamite Ring hand. Fun intended.

I refuse to get upset by this. These figures have been unreal to find in retail. This will (likely) make it easier for someone who doesn't own these figures to FINALLY have AEW figures.
People who are pearl clutching need to take a step back.

I'm not getting bent out of shape on this one. I'm hesitant to put too much stock in when it's just a leaked pic. It's entirely possible that it's a packaging sample for those figures characters but using what is already in production - series 4, 5, and 6 are all either currently in production and recently produced.
Jeremy is the king of variants, chases, deco changes, etc. I'd be shocked if he releases a 4 pack with identical figures to what is going to be available in single packed form at the exact same time.
But I do wish they would get on top of marketing/promotion better so we are getting legit info instead of 90% of news about this line coming from grainy cell phone photos that look like they were taken on my flip phone from 2005.

If it's an exclusive aimed at collectors or whatever, it's a travesty. However, if it's a mass retail loss-leader that they can reliably get into Targets or Walmarts, it's not the worst idea. Box Sets are an easy way to jump-start a collection, especially for kids or those on the fence. Yes, but like, when you do a box set you’re supposed to make at least one item that is exclusive to that set. MJF, Jericho, or Omega in different gear would’ve been enough to satisfy me even if I still wasn’t the biggest fan of the item. Four straight rereleases is just insulting Doing MJF in different trunks would’ve required only one piece of plastic to be color changed Totally agree with you here, but I’d imagine the AEW title would be enough for a lot of people to pick it up. It’s only been available thru exclusives (that people might not be aware of) or chase figures up to now. |

There’s pictures of a 4 pack on Instagram and it’s really lame Series 4 Omega Series 5 Moxley Series 6 Jericho Series 6 MJF Omega hands World title Barbed wire bat Microphone Four complete rereleases, wtf are they doing? Even just changing Omega and/or MJF would’ve made this worth it but they just straight up repacked four figures with slight accessory changes I would get it depending on the price, would save me from having to buy Mox, MJF and Jericho. |

If they charge 39.95 or 49.95. It's better deal than buying the figures individually and clear glass makes in better to display.

This is a great idea... in theory.
Even without any unique draw, this is a great idea to start a kid's collection.
The issue is price. I can't imagine them releasing this for under 60 dollars. Not with the added accessories and these figures running 20 bucks a pop at retail.
If this set is under 60 I'll be shocked. And 60 dollars is a heck of a lot of money to sink into a starter pack of figures. It's the reason that the retail Mattel 2-Packs are basics. It's also, I believe, a big reason they stopped making these multi-packs. Without TRU to be a dedicated toy store to cater to this type of purchase, I fear that neither walmart nor target are going to be willing to invest in these. Walmart especially doesn't seem to give a hoot about wrestling figures and, while I can't vouch for Target without having one, I'd still be surprised if they go big on these.
And, if these are a RSC exclusive? Well, as pointed out, they aren't geared for collectors without having any unique release in them.
If this does go down this way, I fear it's an experiment doomed to fail.

It's hard to compare these to the Jakks BCA sets when some of those ran maybe $5 to $10 over the cost of a single figure by today's standards.

Those BCA sets were also extremely tough to find back then. I was young but I remember, the superstars line was the 1st wrestling line I collected after getting some hasbros at the very end of that run.
But yeah they probably retailed for $24.99 or so. I remember the single carded figures retailing for $5.99 at KB.

So does anyone know the certainty of this 4pack. I saw the leaked image. I’m definitely gonna get it, saves me from buying S6 Jericho and MJF and S5 Mox, plus the Kenny I can use the top on the Tights from the authentic ring. Any news on when and where?
