Fed Ex is vastly better than USPS. I’ll take it.

I’m thankful to only be a couple hours away from RSC. Unless something unexpected happens my orders come in 3 days, max.

Had 90% of my Series 2+3 shipment crushed beyond repair. Being an MOC collector, I hit Ringside up a month ago and I was told they'd get in contact with Fedex in 21 days and it's been 25 never ordering without protector cases again.

It's definitely frustrating. I have a RSC order that said it was due to arrive on Wednesday. It's Friday, and it's still sitting two states away.
I'll take UPS any day of the week over FedEx. But there's also a large UPS sorting facility nearby, so that probably helps.

All my RSC orders are thru Smartpost, but I don't pay attention to them except when they depart and when they arrive.
I'll add, way worse experience with Ent Earth who goes thru Newgistics for transport. Tracking doesn't register for a week or two and packages disappear. Then the unpleasant experience of having data vanish and reset itself. Happened with some of my NJPW figs, happening now with Ultimates 8.

I've got a package that has sat at the Martinsburg, West Virginia FedEx hub for 5 days. Now it's been at the Groveport, Ohio hub for 3 days.
I have a notice on FedEx set for me to not leave packages on my front porch. Been like that for the last few years. I just got a package from them on Sunday where their little device AUDIBLY reads that notice, when I heard them arrive on the other side of the door. They've been ignoring the notice the whole time.
I dislike FedEx. I wish I had a choice in fulfillment companies with some places I order from. =/

Yes. The last several times I had a package shipped it was sitting in Bumblef*ck Idaho for several days before appearing in California... then, the day that it was set to be delivered it sat on the truck for another THREE DAYS before finally being delivered; the arrival date changed to pending and location information was deleted. I get it, first world problems and all, but that doesn’t make it any less infuriating when I don’t want to leave the house on delivery day so nobody steals my box only for it to not show up for three days.

I get my packages shipped to IL and it never takes more than a few days. For example, my RSC Exclusive Cody shipped a few days ago and I got it this morning.
I hope you guys have a better experience with them.

I think FedEx is the least annoying for me, because of the shipping centers. USPS and UPS will land in my state north east to me by about three hours. Then get moved two hours south west of me, then come back to my town. The kicker being, the travel route literally goes through where I live to go south east. So it comes through town, leaves town, then comes back.

Mine always seem to get stuck in North Carolina for several days and then magically update to out for delivery (to central Florida). My latest package actually detoured to Texas for some reason. The price I pay (or not) for free shipping I guess. Concord right? Mine is always stuck there for a full week. Same. Mine always gets stuck in Concord.. NOOORTTHH CAROLIIINNAAA.

FedEx smart post is the bane of my existence. The route it takes to get from New York to Illinois is astonishing

The worst thing about Ringside is Fedex, really wish they’d switch to something different

FedEx smart post is the bane of my existence. The route it takes to get from New York to Illinois is astonishing NY to PA is equally fascinating. You'd think a more or less straight line could get the job done. But to far my package has been through VA, WV, and OH, and has yet to touch soil in PA.

You'd think a more or less straight line could get the job done. But to far my package has been through VA, WV, and OH, and has yet to touch soil in PA. That’s exactly the route it takes for me. I don’t know how they make a profit with travel like that makes zero sense to me

Super weird for you guys. I guess since there is a FedEx hub right near Allentown I get my orders much quicker. Goes right there after departing NY.

When Ringside used to have UPS as a shipping option, I always chose that one. I’ve heard many horror stories about USPS, and also assumed they’d be just as bad as our local NZ Post. Any ringside order via UPS arrived and was delivered within 5 days of it being dispatched, and would be delivered by UPS.
After they changed to FedEx, orders took weeks to arrive in the country, and then, because FedEx aren’t really established here in NZ it gets passed off to NZ Post for delivery and they basically ignore anything that isn’t their own shipments.
My last order, I chose USPS to see if it was any better. Bad idea. Due to issues with covid, it took 2-3 months to arrive after it left ringside.
UPS was expensive, but considering I received my orders from ringside faster than I would receive something shipped from a local store, it was worth it, and I really wish ringside would bring them back as an option
