I'm not sure about basics, but DDP never had an elite figure released while working for AEW. I believe he last appeared in Jan 2020 so Jake is really the only exception to that for whatever reason. Wasn’t Series 10 announced by then? Jan 2020 (16 months ago). I think you might have misread it as Jan 2021? By the time the figure hits, it will be 18 months since he appeared in AEW. |

So can we guess this is the minor surprise? Or is this the major one? Cause if it’s the big one, color me disappointed. |

The other info from the video (not some make believe toy shop owner friend) is that there is an awesome/best ever elite lineup coming in later this yr/early next yr (Fall timeline was referenced in the video). Double JJ seems like he would get a wide release/one that would be easy to obtaib for his first figure. And it seems like his outfit/accessories would blow up the budget (another hint in the video). The surprises were for the Legends line and we all pretty much knew JJ was coming as soon as the rights issue was resolved. |

True, JJ wouldn't be in my best line-up ever, but I could see his first figure (and we still have the other 5 figures) falling under that description and people getting excited about it. Makes more sense than being one of the surprises in Legends 13 (of figures that he didn't think would get released). JJ is probably one of the bigger names that they haven't made yet that are still left (and not off limits).
My guess is that the Steiner Brothers are the two surprises in L13 with Scott obviously being the "something really surprising" since he has bad mouthed HHH, WWE, and Stephanie. The guy from HH seems like he would be up to date on JJ's status with WWE and his lawsuits over rights to his name so I don't know why that would surprise him.

Could Jarrett be considered a major surprise? We’ve all pretty much figured that it would happen after that whole lawsuit thing ended. Like when I think major surprises of the past I think Savage and Chyna who we never thought we would see.

Now granted we’ve known he’s been back with wwe for a little while but still I think he is a big enough name to call it major. And regardless that both sides have publicly wanted to make it happen, legal issues are practically indefinite and situations can change by the time there’s a legal resolution. ...Maybe it’s just because I’m happy about it |

Steve said if he can get access to Jarrett then that would be the look he would want to do first.
I'm just hoping for a WCW version with yellow glasses, guitar and WCW title. Maybe give him an nWo 2000 shirt because I'm pretty sure we'll never see a "Choke on that Slapnuts" tee in the line lol.
