My friend found a black costumed Spider-Man tonight, and I was really pissed, because I thought he took the last one. I hustled over to K-Mart, only to see that there was no more. I searched over and over, up and down the aisle, and nothing. I looked on the top shelf, and behind some movie Spidey stuff sat about 5 SMC9 figures: 2 Robot Spideys, 2 Secret Identity Spideys, and 1 Black Costume Spidey, which of course I bought.

I saw a buttload of Movie Doc Ock's at Wal-Mart today. They had those big cardboard display holders (you know what I mean?) and I could see atleast half a dozen Ock's in just the first row of them. They were up on tyhe high storage shelfs though, so I couldn't get an exact amount. I didn't pick one up. I'm not sure if I even want one. I did however find RA9 at the same time.

That is actually what my friend and I thought "endcaps" were, until yesterday. I see tons of ML5 in those things.

I found a Carnage today at K-Mart. They had all of Spider-Man Classics 9 but no 10.
Carnage is a kick ass figure with an alright base. I am really glad I bought him to add to the Rouge's Gallery.

Still waiting for the first ML 6 sighting in the states. Yesterday I found myself shaking my fist at Ml 4 Gambit, for not being Deadpool.

Still waiting for the first ML 6 sighting in the states. Yesterday I found myself shaking my fist at Ml 4 Gambit, for not being Deadpool. Is it just me or is ML6 the weakest set so far? I do not think any of them will be that terribly hard to find because the characters this time around are not as geared towards smaller children as in the past. Just my take on it but I don't see that many people buying Cable or Juggernaut or the others except hardcore collectors. I am not complaining by all means, because it just means I will be able to get my paws on them easier.

I mean the characters were well known by casual fans, except for Goliath and Elektra, but it just didn't sell great. Add to the fact that all those figures minus Goliath, were released in box sets later on. Out of Ml 6, I think Juggernaut will sell the best. Even if a kid doesn't know who he is, they'll buy him because he's big ass buff toy.

Series 6 is my fav so far with series 3 right behind. I think because a lot of kids might not konw these characters, you'll see more collectors going after them.
I ofund another WM end cap display, but it was missing half the figures already(if only I had went the day before like I was originally going too...). They also had some SMC 9. Got the last Black Spidey...no Rhinos. That second ab joint on him is kinda odd...

I know the difference looks subtle, but the original SMC version looks dated now.

Har har Yeah, but at the time ML4 was not weak. They were all highly requested characters and everyone wanted them. They were just over distributed and all released in boxsets later. Is ML5 warming the pegs anywhere else but here? I have seen everyone more then 10 times each. I am dying for a new series now. Lucky for me, ML6 is just around the corner. P.S. Prozac, you say they all look dated? What about Rhino? I think he is still the best Rhino around. I also think that I am the only one who thinks the Spider-Man Classics series 1 Spider-Man is the best Spidey. It is not dated to me!

I see a ton of everyone from ML5 everywhere. Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Toys R Us, KB Toys, etc. all have them all. It's insane.

P.S. Prozac, you say they all look dated? What about Rhino? Yes and no. Articulation wise, yes he is dated, but no because he is the only normal rhino out there(not counting ultimate as he's not normal...he's ultimate...with an action feature). I also think that I am the only one who thinks the Spider-Man Classics series 1 Spider-Man is the best Spidey. I agreed with that until I saw good shots of the S6 Spidey...that's one sweet web-slinger!

I hate that Spider-Man, his head is so smooth! I like the Spider-Man Classics 1 one because his webs are all textured. I dunno, seems like more work was put into him.
