I got that from action-figure.com. Not exactly new news, but official at least. I don't understand how it had poor retailer orders though. I've only seen one case of Hulk Classics in my town, and 4-5 of X-Men Classics.

Actually, Hulk Classics and X-Men Classics are shipping in mixed cases. The ratio of XMC, is greater than the HC in those cases. Which is why Abomintaion is even harder to find. Full cases of HC will ship in March. Besides, Hulk Classics 2 has already been spotted in Britain.

At Target today I found a Series IV Punisher with a "Urban Legends" comic, not the normal Punisher comic. Can anyone elaborate on why this is, and is it worth grabbing?

Personally, I don't even read most of the comics that come with the figures, but to each their own. I think it has a different comic because Punisher was featured in that "Urban Legends" boxed set, and they stuck that comic in there.

Well I was thinking maybe it was rare or something. I found that too. I don't think it's particularly rare, plus I don't think the packaging variants go for any different price (if anyone brings up the supposed "Open-mouth Beast" variant I'll kick them in the nuts). Outside of the US, ML come with posterbooks or something, and I think they go for about the same amount.

I can tell you for a fact, that I have an Open Mouthed Beast on my dresser, next to Unmasked Wolverine, with the variant mask. ;D And no, that Punisher isn't worth a great deal, since they're super easy to find.

I can tell you for a fact, that I turned a "regular" Beast into the "Open-mouth" variant by simply pressing in the plastic blister and pushing the mouth open. If anyone is stupid enough to think that's worth more...

God help anyone actually hunting for one of those things.

I've seen at LEAST two price guides list "open mouth" as a variant and price it higher. Well, they're sadly misinformed. Me, Weezite, and Prozac all made up Open Mouthed Beast, just to see if CE would put it on the ML checklist. He did, and it's kind of grown from there. The first clue should've been when you didn't see any on Ebay, because people put fake crapon there all the time. The second glue, is that he has a hinged jaw..Hello? A hinged jaw! You can open his mouth at the store.

Wasn't there an ebay auction before you guys put it on the list? No, the ebay auction was for a bloody mouthed Beast, which somebody had just put red marker on his fangs, repackaged him, and dubbed it a variant. But the inspiration came from that.

I don't know if this has been discussed or what.
What is everyones most wanted figures out of the following sets?
Marvel Legends VI
Modern Wolverine Phoenix Juggernaut Movie Punisher Cable Deadpool
Marvel Legends VII
Weapon X Hawkeye Johnny Blaze Apocalypse Silver Centurion Iron Man Vision
Marvel Legneds VIII
Dr. Octopus Modern Iron Man Storm Iceman Captain America Man Thing
The ones that are in bold are the ones that I want most. I know I'll be getting more than just the ones in bold, but those are the ones that I'm hunting for first when they come out.

I've been waiting for a good Apocalypse, so he's my stand out as far as ML 7. And Storm is my pick for ML 8, since she's my favorite female character

Hawkeye is my #1 desire right now. Followed by Phoenix, Vison, Black Widow, and Ultimate Cap.
And FYI, the FF and Spidey boxsets are due out in May according to Diamond's Previews catalog, along with Series 6. I don't know if that's old news, but I'll be pre-ordering the 2 boxsets tomorrow. I never did find the X-men or Urban sets in a store (other than the comic shop).
