New Super7 Andre the Giant in the works

During the MWFP Interview and Discussion with Super 7's Brian Flynn, there was mention of another Andre...but the details seemed off. Brian seemed adamant that Andre used to wear a yellow singlet (not to be confused with trunks or tights). He also mentioned red boots.

We have all seen yellow trunks Andre (Wrestlemania 2 being the the most iconic). He has worn all sorts of colors of those over the years. To the best of my recollection, he only wore tights with the Machines. When it comes to singlets, I have seen black, navy, red, and green...but never do I recall yellow. Perhaps it was just a simple mistake but I thought someone here might have some insight.

I noticed during the major pod interview that he seems to think WWE is now “WW” I assume based on the current logo. He says he keeps wanting to say WWE or wwf instead of WW. Someone needs to smarten them up a bit

He addressed this in the interview in a jokey way.

Brian from super 7 said he keeps wanting to say wwf but knows it’s wwe now so he just says ww to stop getting it wrong.

Did many people on here actually get the first Ultimate Andre? I haven't seen many reviews of the figure.
I wasn't too keen on the headsculpts, although the smiling face looked the best of the three.

As for the new figure I also don't recall Andre ever wearing a yellow singlet.

I kept waiting to get my order from that toy store that is both Big and Bad but there was a hiccup. During that time, I figured screw it. I already had the Mattel version which was fine. So I cancelled that order and instead placed one for the young Japanese Andre in his red robe.

I have the first andre. Head likenesses aren't bad if you Google pics of andre. Having the first one kinda helped me still get njpw series one after those bad pics. Not sure I'll get the second one, only difference is attire and robe, unless it says giant rousemoff on the box, then maybe

Once I’m caught up on the Ultimate Edition line, I think I’m going to start a loose Andre collection. Just so many options as far a figures go.

I feel like Mattel will do this attire eventually (possibly in the upcoming Legends set), so paying almost double the price for this one is kind of unnecessary.

S7 has wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too many pre-order things right now. Lots of it looks great, but they really are starting to get annoying with this BS.

They kind of already did. I could see them finding a way to revisit it or even do a basic:

Yeah I have that one, but kept the Giant Machine outfit on. The yellow trunks don't really work with black boots.

My favorite Andre is the 1st Jakks one, with caricature looking HUGE Giant. I loved it, it jump started my wrestling collection. I have the Giant Rousimoff one from Super7 and a few Mattel

If so, I had the exact opposite reaction. I hate it to this day. They made him out to be a mutant more than a larger than life person. It didn’t fit with the rest of the series either.

With so many other companies out there, especially smaller / one man operations doing better work super 7 need to up their game

Crop that face, send it to soneone and ask who it is. I’d be surprised if one person said andre
