Also, on topic... yellow trunks '86 Andre has always been a huge want for me. Just wish he came with better sculpts and different accessories. Why not a duffle bag or pointer finger hands?

He has one less head and no other accessories/soft goods like the other two. I can’t imagine what they plan on doing to make this more appealing other than lowering the price…this will not sell well.

this looks better than the first release, which i bought and sold off because of the likeness. Everything else was great like the proportions etc.
Mattel's andre's don't do his size justice. Mattels andre boots are too small for example.
I bought this new s7 one. Likenesses still aren't great, but the open mouth head looks useable.
But i love the love handles spilling out over the tights and the big feet.

btw the price is due to super7 being a smaller company doing a smaller run of figures. It's a niche product, not mass market.

Is that really an ultimate? It’s light on accessories for me. I don’t hate the figure, but there isn’t enough meat on the bone for that price point. All the other super 7’s had far more deco, accessories, soft food etc.

Put some street clothes with him and I’d buy today.

S7 ultimates have been $55 for about a year now with wave 1 transformers. But they're so behind I dont think anything at that $55 price point has even been released yet. It's still the figures at $45 that have been coming out and seems like it will be like that for q1 at least.

Hot take if you honestly feel this likeness is better than the first one. It is going to be an ultra limited run because this one will not sell well. The lack of accessories and the poor likeness of the faces makes it even more insulting.

I actually quite like that to be honest, doesn't look that bad to me. It just doesn't seem worth it for the price though, it's good but not over £50 before shipping good.

I feel like the closest they got to an Andre likeness was the first release. And even those still needed a lot of work. The super7 figures just cant seem to nail likenesses on real life people for some reason.

Yeah Matt and Bryan talked about their figures being the most detailed and best but there’s been a decent amount of criticism about the face which they commented on the pod briefly

I agree in the main - MOTU classics, turtles stuff etc they nail but really people not so much

The also got the singlet wrong, putting the strap on the opposite side like LJN did but 9 years later and as big a legend Andre is there's no excuse to mess up his figure. I also thought the Legends line was silly with them being as large as they were in comparison to the regular BCA figures.

I saw Super7 just posted a video hyping their Andre figure. And they did mention about the headsculpts being prototypes and that they're still working on them...so maybe there is a chance it might come out okay.
Also didnt realize that TJ guy is still working for them. I had wondered, since he never came back to the njpw thread if he even still works for them anymore.
