If rob gronkowski can get a figure for doing just a few segments why can’t Shaq at least he had an actual wrestling match.

I'd buy one. It would probably end up being in an RSC exclusive, Shaq/Cody 2 pack. I've got all his NBA figs anyway - sans the Celtics one.

Different companies, different rules of course, but if Gronk sells well for Mattel I feel like Shaq would sell even better. That said, Gronk uses a basic Elite body with weird clothes, but the head of the figure is the only part that’s unique. I’d like to think that they wouldn’t use the same body for Shaq as they would for Wight since the proportions are different enough to warrant it’s own mold. Unless Jazwares somehow gets the rights to make an El Gigante figure (not sure why they would) then it’s a mold that I doubt they’d use again unless they were to release numerous Shaqs (unless he becomes a recurring character with numerous attires I don’t see why they would). The cost might not be worth the return.

Jazwares seem less worried about cost vs return considering the 1 of 500 stuff. They could at least reuse the arms and maybe the shoes for somebody
