I've been checking the Target listing for about two weeks and nothing has changed with it. But he is a Walmart exclusive that you can't get right now and ringside won't have. Good thing we have that MAJOR code though. When did it switch from a Target to Walmart exclusive? When Kama was first shown, the WWE.com reveal had it as Target. However in December 2020, Steve said that it was wrong and it would be Walmart: Kama in Elite 85 is actually a Walmart exclusive. Target being called out on the gallery was an error. I’d prefer either babyface M.O.M Mabel or Big Daddy V next but I would love purple pajamas Viscera also. If a talent has merch outside of WWE, they simply don’t have an exclusive contract. Not every contract is exactly the same. I’d ideally love for all of us to own the Godwinns and Savio. Maybe one day.

ing joke they get them, no problem. It’s not who you know, it’s who you.. They’re probably the biggest influencers in the wrestling figure collecting community. Why wouldn’t a toy company send them free stuff to promote their product? And it’s not like they’re the only people on YouTube or Twitter with a bunch of followers that gets high demand toys early and for free. Anyone that puts in the work and builds a following should be able to reap the rewards of their efforts.

Good thing we have that MAJOR code though. The listings often end up on target but are never in stock. taker still is listed on Target’s site now. I know I know...but I'm still going to keep an eye out.

With the way Walmart has been stocking toys in general over the past year, I’ll never see this on a shelf.

It is officially eBay exclusive premium edition bcoz people in mattle marketing thinks that wrestling fans/ humans only live in US and rest of world is in Jurassic age and only dinosaur lives there. Jokes on you, most of the US won't see it either.

Maybe they could post bragging rights about Heenan in a weasel suit instead or something Ringside actually carries.

I've seen the Mae Young atleast 5-6 times in stores. One store even had 2. I don't think Kama will be sought after any more than Mae. It's his least popular WWE character during WWE's worst financial period in company history. They'll go for a pretty penny at first, but it will die down just like Davey Boy did. And you have to consider, tons of people were buying 2 Davey Boys to make a matching Dynamite and even then his secondary value has dropped considerably. Most people won't be buying 2 Kamas.

And a lot of their followers likely are only get info through them. They’re not on these boards or following anyone else for their fig news. So them posting about Kama could be a lot of people’s only way of knowing that figure exists. That’ll get them to Walmart to try and find it. While there they may not see Kama but pick up a PS Hayes or whoever instead.

Its great for sellers who can turn 32 Mattel WWE Elite figures into cash and buy a private jet, but collectors, not so much.

I already grabbed mine for a premium on the secondary market and love this figure. Reminds me of Elite 68 Mabel as far as quality goes.- figure of the year candidate for sure:

Anyone know if that is a new torso on Kama, or has it been used before?

Anyone know if that is a new torso on Kama, or has it been used before? Torso is new, it was confirmed by Steve in the Q&A thread. I thought the boot mold was new as well but I could be wrong. The only reason I would think it's new is because this is a figure that Bill has wanted to do for years and I could totally see him using budget on it.

For UK collectors, Smyths has it up for Pre Order on their website.

For UK collectors, Smyths has it up for Pre Order on their website. And in stock at a lot of stores according to their website - my local one has 7 apparently. Be interesting to see when they send-out the existing pre-orders - Zelina Vega and Davey Boy weren’t in stores until after the online pre-orders orders had been fulfilled.

I’ve no issues with them getting the figures either, it’s a business decision for Mattel. That said when they start saying “guys were just like all of you” or Ryder starts doing the patronizing voice for anyone who dares disagree they become something I doubt I can type on here.
