Buddy. the community that I'm in online, he's more over than ever. They LOVE him now. I haven't seen the top heel be this popular since "The Corporate Champ" days. Thanks for being the first to confirm my thoughts on his "heel" run  What's your beef with Roman? I've seen it eluded to a few times, but I'm not aware of what it is. |

1. Roman is GREAT -- the best actor WWE has ever had (people like CM Punk were just playing themselves. I like Punk overall better, but Reigns is a better actor)
2. This HBK figure is just painful for all men going bald -- losing hair is really painful

But with the latest thing, I've been saying since day one it was nothing more than a ploy to coax the obstinate smart fans to cheer him, a ruse for when he keeps the edgy demeanor for his next face run they hope fans will respond much better than they have before with him as top guy. And I still refuse to praise the move as the greatest thing ever since some (including myself) have been calling for a heel run for literal years. |

For years they tried to shove him down everyone's throats as the top babyface and he was universally loathed. Now, he's supposedly the biggest heel they've got and, the parts of the internet I'm on, people think he's doing the best work of his career. They love him. When he was a nice guy, everyone thought he was an a$$hole. Now that he's legit BEING an a$$hole, they think he's downright wonderful.
I wish I could say I missed the days when there were less "Smarks" and "Rebel Fans" but I was a Shane fan during the Attitude Era so, frankly, I came into this game without a leg to stand on. Also, as stated about Rocky, when they made him a heel absolutely NOBODY bought it. Much like his current roster kin, people hated Rocky Maivia and they loved The Corporate Champ. And then, when he came back from Hollywood and the people despised him, Vince finally realized he wasn't going to be able to dictate how people felt about The Rock and immediately turned him heel.
And, funny thing? Hollywood Rock is my favorite incarnation of him. It's pretty much the only time I have ever liked him as a character.
I guess some things never change.

Over the years I've said many times that once he turns heel he'll get over. Always thought the same for Cena. And if for arguments sake their intention in turning him heel was to get him over with those who hated him..... well, it's the smart thing to do and they were too stubborn to do it with Cena. I agree they should've done it years ago, but it's a minor miracle they even did it at all. As for myself I wouldn't say that I'm a "fan" of him like I am of others I legitimately like, but it's been pretty cool to actually enjoy the work he's doing and look forward to his segments on a weekly basis. It's been a really fun run the last 7 months or so. |

The only reason you can’t get the chase is because it isn’t released yet. People are so dramatic lately. It was up for pre order on Ringside and sold out. She is up for preorder again. |
