Right change that to MVP. I just knew I had to book Batista in the main event, I forgot who I had planned. Sorry. Also, Charlie Haas is almost always kind of a mess. It's like his thing. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Voting has closed. (thanks to dcw1.) We get a video package of what happened at the Battle Royal last week between Morgan and the Mexicools. The Mexicools, of course, cost Morgan his chance to compete in the Money in the Bank Ladder match as he was looking very dominant in the final six. The shot of the Mexicools driving Morgan back first into the barricade is played a couple of times.Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! Two Sundays ago now Batista put away Matt Hardy and made sure that the WWX Championship would be exclusive to Xplosion, so we now begin the process of searching for his next challenger tonight by seeing if he will answer MVP's challenge from last week." Tenay: "Opening the show this week Matt Morgan plans to kill two birds with one stone as he looks to put his name back in the tag title picture as well as take his revenge on the reunited Mexicools. But who will be Morgan's tag team partner and what is that man thinking by accepting this match?" Virk: "Last week we also got our first look and first word with the newly crowned Mr. Money in the Bank Rob Van Dam, what part does he have to play tonight?" Ross: "That and more as Xplosion comes in to your homes live from the AT&T center in San Antonio. We are your hosts for this evening and we want to take this second to honor those wrestling greats that we have lost." Virk: "Thank you, JR. Continuing tonight's show with more fallout from last week, immediately after his loss to Benjamin last week JBL demanded a 'Loser Leaves the Brand' rematch for tonight's show as well as a contract signing to take place that very second. Typical JBL fashion, he fully believed that Benjamin's win was a fluke and he will prove it here tonight when he forces Benjamin to take his talents elsewhere." Tenay: "MVP's match with the champion Batista will be refereed by our own General Manager Tony Schiavone. He says that now that he has sole ownership of the WWX Title he wants to be there front and center if the next challenger is going to be revealed tonight." Matt Morgan/Brother Ray vs. The Mexicools Ross: "Many of you probably expected this match as the main event and it was scheduled as such, but Morgan didn't want to wait any longer to get his revenge. Schiavone didn't take much to persuade as he wanted the WWX Champion in the main event as should be the case anyway, but he was apparently told by the board to make that call. Realizing Morgan was not going to take that, Schiavone reversed his decision and will take it up with the board at a later date. Just some politics interrupting the show." Matt Morgan enters first, obviously since he can't wait, and starts posing for the crowd. Before he's done the music for his tag team partner hits. Tenay: "Oh my. Now this is not entirely unexpected. Remember before the draft Morgan was gearing up to make a run at tag team gold with Brother Devon. It looks like he'll try to continue that with Devon's former tag team partner." The Mexicools enter on their tractor now and this one is ready to start. Morgan and Psicosis to start. The bell dings. Psicosis shoves Morgan into the corner, Morgan says Brother Ray should start this off. Ray refuses, so Morgan jumps on Psicosis and starts pummeling him. There is chaos as both are throwing wild haymakers, then Morgan jumps over to his corner and forces the Tag in to Brother Ray. Ray clearly unhappy steps over the ropes and kicks Psicosis in the face. Brother Ray picks him up and delivers a short arm clothesline. Ray clotheslines him over the top rope down to the floor and gets in Morgan's face as they try to get on the same page to win this match. Ray forces the Tag into Morgan as Psicosis slides into the ring and Tags in Super Crazy. Morgan comes in and starts some open hand chops on Super Crazy. Morgan off the ropes connects with a flying forearm, but he lands on his feet. Bodyslam to Super Crazy, then Morgan heads to the top rope and delivers a diving elbow drop. Morgan calls for the Hellevator, but Psciosis looks like he's about to come in and Super Crazy comes off the ropes with a kick to the face off the distraction. Tag to Psicosis, who tries to stay on top of Morgan with a series of elbows to the face. Psicosis whips Morgan into the corner and runs into a boot to the face. Morgan goes for a whip, but Psicosis reverses it with a whip of his own and Morgan bounces off the turnbuckles. Psicosis with a series of headbutts now and a running bulldog off the ropes. Psicosis into the cover. 1..shoulder up. Tag to Super Crazy and they deliver a series of punches each to Morgan up until the referee's 3 count. At the 3 count, they double DDT Morgan and Psicosis takes his place on the apron. Super Crazy delivers a standing moonsault into the cover. 1...2.shoulder up! Tag to Psicosis, who locks in a Boston crab. Morgan lifts himself out of it and gets over to Psicosis to punch away at him. He backs Psicosis into the corner and starts the open hand chops again. Morgan comes off the ropes, ducks a wild swing, comes off the opposite ropes, and delivers a running DDT. Morgan lets Psicosis get the Tag in to Super Crazy, he wants to beat the hell out of both of them, but Ray Tags himself in. Brother Ray whips Super Crazy into the turnbuckle and follows it up with a splash. To the opposing corner with another splash, which sets up the Brother Bomb. Ray knocks Psicosis off the apron with an elbow to the top of the head, then whips Super Crazy into the corner again. Brother Ray sets him up in the tree of woe and delivers another splash. Ray lifts Crazy up and puts him back down with a boot to the face. Ray, then delivers a leg drop off the ropes a la Hulk Hogan. Virk: "This crowd is firmly behind Brother Ray, I mean it is loud in here. This crowd clearly behind Brother Ray despite how he is treating his tag team partner." Ray is calling for a cutter now, but Morgan Tags himself in. Morgan absolutely floors Super Crazy with the carbon footprint. 1...2...3! Here are your winners: Matt Morgan & Brother Ray Ross: "Morgan and Ray put the Mexicools away in a little under 9 and a half minutes. Ray is furious at Morgan for stealing the glory and, I think we are witnessing history, ladies and gentlemen. To my estimation this has got to be the first heel/face tag team combination we have ever seen. Although, Ray is chasing Morgan back to the locker room now. Then Ray's music plays as they are at the ramp allowing Morgan to turn around and deliver the carbon footprint to Ray! I guess we'll see if these two team up any more, but the crowd is not happy about that kick from Morgan."

Voting has closed. (thank you to dcw1.) We open on the steets outside of the arena where we see an unknown individual in a trenchcoat, sunglasses, and fedora get stopped by security. They say they were invited inside by Tony Schiavone's brother, but security is not buying it. Suddenly a car pulls up and motions for the individual to get inside, he does, and they drive off. We are then taken back in to the arena for the official start of the show.Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! Please forgive me as we have a bit of an unorthodox start to this evening's program as I will send you now to "Iron" Mike Tenay who is standing by in the ring for an exclusive interview." Tenay: "Thank you, JR. Everyone, please join me in welcoming my guest at this time.....Mitch!" Mitch: "Tenay, people can say what they want about the Spirit Squad, but I did what I had to do to get here. I'm also not just a cheerleader, I'm also a football player who was good enough to attend an official NFL combine, even if I didn't make it. It took The Rock 11.75 years to finally take the Intercontinental Championship from Edge and Edge already has it back. It won't even take me 11.75 months to take it from Edge the second time." Tenay: "The Intercontinental Championship picture is up in the air for the first time in nearly 12 years, that's true. But, you are finally reunited with at least one member of the Spirit Squad after the 2nd WWX Draft Lottery and the two of you have wasted no time picking up where you left off, including your match tonight. However, the question on everyone's mind is why did the two of you interfere in the match between Montel Vontavious Porter, MVP, and Batista, in last week's main event?" As Tenay mentions the event, we get a replay of the Spirit Squad hopping the guardrail and helping MVP beatdown the WWX Champion, which happened only because MVP "accidentally" bumped into the referee. Mitch: "Why did Johnny and I do that, Tenay? Because it was fun. Or maybe we did it to make a statement. Johnny and I are currently involved in three different title divisions and we are making waves. Johnny is a former #1 contender to the Universal Championship, after all this time I thought we had moved past our image of five punching bags. But, we helped beatdown the WWX Champion and there is nothing he or his friend Shawn Michaels can do about it. Just like Edge won't be able to stop me from becoming the Intercontinental Champion this Thursday night." Tenay: "Well alright thank you for clearing that up for us Mitch. Tune in this Thursday folks when Edge puts the Intercontinental Championship on the line against that man." Virk: "Hang on to your hats ladies and gentlemen, we have just received word that Light Heavyweight Champion John Morrison has agreed to defend the title in tonight's opening match up against somebody who didn't earn a shot, Brian Kendrick. Said Morrison, quote, 'I won this championship from my good friend Joey Mercury, people have said that was probably a fix, so I welcome this chance to prove them wrong'." WWX Light Heavyweight Championship MatchJohn Morrison(c) vs. Brian KendrickThe bell dings. Morrison starts off cautiously, but Kendrick starts with a high jump kick. Kendrick stays on him with a couple of forearms, an uppercut, and backs him into the corner with some lefts and rights. Kendrick goes for an irish whip, but Morrison reverses it into an irish whip of his own, only Kendrick holds his ground. They trade irish whip attempts again, but to the same result, except this time Morrison holds the arm and locks in an armbar to isolate the left arm of Kendrick as his target in this match. Ross: "Immediately following this title match, Morgan and Brother Ray, who we still don't know if they actually want to be a tag team, continue to try to dominate the tag team roster here on Xplosion." Morrison works over the arm for about two minutes, bringing Kendrick down to the mat, and dropping the knee into the back every 30 seconds. Morrison picks him up and gets the irish whip into the corner this time, he tries to follow it up with a shoulder tackle, but Kendrick drops out of the way and Morrison drives his shoulder into the turnbuckle. But when Kendrick goes to capitalize, Morrison flapjacks him throat first across the ropes. We see a shot of Joey Mercury watching this match from the crowd, with his arm in a sling, and Virk tries to do a Mercury impression, but Ross and Tenay can't figure out what he's doing. Morrison puts Kendrick in a hammerlock on the mat now. Tenay: "Virk I think you're infuriating the audience with whatever is you're doing, why don't we go back to calling the match? We could talk about how Kendrick is a formidable challenger, a former Global Champion, and so nobody should be underestimating him in this matchup." Ross: "Absolutely right, Tenay, and, of course, if Kendrick were to win this match they would have their rematch the next time the WWX comes to you on PPV, which, incidentally, will feature the return of the 2 night PPV event starting on August 21. August 21 will be Heat Wave and August 22 will be Dune of Doom. It's all part of the same PPV event, but they will certainly be two very different nights." We are tuning in to commentary as Morrison is holding a chinlock in for a couple of minutes in the center of the ring. Kendrick slowly makes it to his feet and drags Morrison over to the ropes. Kendrick, using the ropes for leverage, dumps Morrison to the outside and knocks him back down again with a seated senton. Kendrick rolls Morrison back into the ring, Morrison rolls over to the corner, and Kendrick lays into him with punches to the face as he is seated in the corner. Kendrick pulls him to his feet and delivers a rolling fireman's carry slam into the first cover of the match. 1...shoulder up. Kendrick whips him into the corner and goes for a splash, but Morrison dodges it. Kendrick bounces chest first off the turnbuckle, and Morrison comes off the ropes with a knee to the face. Morrison picks him up, looking for a delayed vertical suplex, but Kendrick floats over. Kendrick tries sliced bread, but Morrison catches him and hits Moonlight Drive! 1...2...3! Here is your winner and STILL WWX Light Heavyweight Champion: John Morrison Virk: "A tough loss for Kendrick here, but a big win for Morrison as he proves that he is rightfully your champion with his second title defense here. Morrison will continue along as the champion, now we await what the next move is for Brian Kendrick. Does he keep trying for the Light Heavyweight gold, go for one of the other 4 titles, or even challenge Lashley himself? Only time will tell. We do know that if he plans to go after Lashley he will not be Lashley's next challenger because Eric Bischoff negotiated for and earned the right to select the next opponent for Lashley. Can you see an easy win for Lashley or what? I mean come on."

Voting has closed. (dcw1 is the goat.) Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! We are live from the Manhattan Center in New York City, New York and we want to thank each and every one of you for welcoming us into your living rooms once again. Joining me as your hosts for this evening's events are, as always, "The Professor" Mike Tenay and Adnan Virk. Let's join Virk as he makes his entrance through the crowd." Virk: "I'm seeing some people clearly upset about the past week's events, but I think they need some help, they misspelled 'J-B-L'. No matter, you won't be seeing him on Mondays anymore folks! (he shouts to the crowd) Instead you have real athletes such as Mick Foley who deserve the spotlight more anyway." Tenay: "Probably should have hyped up these guys competing in our opening match there Adnan, but regardless they're coming out right now." Tenay says this as Virk is still mumbling over the microphone on his way down to the desk.Mark Jindrak vs. Brian KendrickThe bell dings. Jindrak runs Kendrick over with a big shoulder tackle. Then off the ropes with a big clothesline. The crowd is surprisingly behind the former European Champion. Kendrick leapfrogs Jindrak, but Jindrak catches him in the air and delivers an electric chair drop. Ross: "We are being told that the NWA Champion will be addressing the WWX universe tonight." Which he says as Jindrak delivers a backbreaker, then heads to the top rope and delivers a diving headbutt. Jindrak stalks him and connects with the Mark of Excellence as Kendrick got to his feet. 1...2...3! Here is your winner via pinfall: Mark Jindrak Tenay: "Jindrak making short work of Kendrick in this one, that match lasted just over 3 minutes." Virk: "Many of us thought that Jindrak has been demoralized of late since losing his championship, but he looked really good out there and the crowd wanted to see him take this one. Despite how he reacted to losing the title. As for Kendrick, he put on a good showing in the Money in the Bank ladder match, but he just could not get out of the gate here. He tried the leapfrog defense, but that just made it more brutal for him. We hope this does not set him back after he had the chance to earn a World Title matchup, as well as him being the former Global Champion."
Ross: "That was an entertaining match, but we are still reeling from the news that we will hear from Lashley a bit later tonight, as well as our main event for this evening. The advertised main event was to be The Codemasters teaming with Shawn Michaels in a 6-man tag, but was just changed this minute to Batista defending the WWX Championship against the challenger...papers rustling....Shelton Benjamin? We are told this match is coming about as a result of there being no confirmed match for the PPV and Benjamin's win against the former World Champion Mankind last week. We are also being told that the board of directors were impressed with Jindrak's performance just now and are deliberating as to whether Jindrak will be the winner of tonight's matchup's next opponent. But something that is official is that the six man tag later tonight will be to determine the next man to challenge The Undertaker with the Grand Championship hanging in the balance. Adnan Virk is with one man involved in that match now." Virk in the back with Mick Foley. Virk: "Foley, over the last few weeks we have seen a lot from the Mexicools in regards to attacking other wrestlers and taking things a step too far. Is it a concern to you that Psicosis was supposed to be the next man to face The Undertaker, but now that position is in jeopardy with your match tonight?" Foley: "I can handle myself and I trust my team as much as I need to. I can beat the Mexicools any day of the week, as far as their attacks go, I don't think they want to get involved, if they know what's good for them, if I get the match with 'Taker."

Voting has closed. (Produced by DCW1.) Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! We are live from the Manhattan Center City in New York, New York. We are ready to take you moment by moment into the action as it happens tonight. We are 7 weeks past 1 full year of Xplosion shows, and we are holding two title contests on tonight's episode in a bit of celebration. Will these championships be defended successfully, we don't even know who the challengers will be yet, and what will these contests mean for Dune of Doom and Heat Wave coming up relatively quickly? All of this and more will be answered on tonight's show." As soon as the introduction is out of the way, former #1 contender to the Light Heavyweight Championship, Brian Kendrick, makes his way down the aisle for another opening match.Virk: "While Kendrick plays up the audience, we have decided to remind everyone just what exactly Xplosion is bringing to the table when next we come to you on pay per view for both Dune of Doom and Heat Wave. Of course, these matches could be changed and additional matches could be added, but for now this is what we have planned for you: If Batista makes it through his challenge tonight, Kendrick is actually next in line, that is, unless he loses tonight. Sabu could be headed towards a collision with former WWX Champion Shawn Michaels. The CodeMasters are looking at a challenge from Brother Ray and Matt Morgan. John Morrison and Scotty 2 Hotty. Finally, if The Undertaker makes it through his challenge tonight, then it looks like Mitch will issue a big challenge to him." Tickets available now, who knows we may even get some grudge and/or dream matches." Tenay: "Thank god you're giving actual information this week, instead of doing something like a bad Elvis impression. Batista will speak on the WWX Championship situation next week." A video Spike Dudley shot before the show aired in Hawaii of him saying this is what he is going to be doing at Dune of Doom or Heat Wave whether he is booked or not, as he spikes a football. Telling us to just pick a superstar and imagine that is their head. Ross: "I sure hope Spike is right about that because he has not had much success since all the way back when he debuted. The closest he has come to a championship was losing an X-Division Tag Title opportunity back when Heroes for Hire were tag team champions." Shelton Benjamin makes his way down to the ring holding what appears to be a present. Kendrick looks all business as Benjamin makes his entrance, but the audience doesn't like his quick turn from hyping them up to staring Benjamin down. Kendrick is yelling at the crowd now, and doesn't realize...Shelton Benjamin vs. Brian KendrickThe bell dings. Benjamin delivers a forearm shot to Kendrick from behind. Tenay: "This match was more for Kendrick's benefit than anything else, as Benjamin has already proven himself by earning a WWX Title match against Batista." Benjamin locks Kendrick in a Boston crab for 30 seconds, but let's go as Kendrick was getting close to the ropes. Ross: "Benjamin is ineligible to challenge Morrison, so the expectation is that he is setting is sights on either Sabu or The Undertaker, which one, though, remains to be seen." Kendrick pulls himself up by the ropes and walks right into the T-Bone suplex, delivered perfectly by Benjamin. 1...2...3! Here is your winner via pinfall: Shelton Benjamin Virk: "Benjamin just put Kendrick away in less than two minutes of this program. I am going to attempt to get an interview from the winner." Virk heads over to talk to Benjamin, but Benjamin slams Virk's head into the box that he brought down to the ring with him. Virk returns to the commentary table. Tenay: "Looks like you got your answer from Benjamin who steamrolls over Kendrick. Brian Kendrick has been in a real slump since losing his Global Title. What will it take to run his luck around?"

Benjamin smashed Hendrick, think Benjamin is a more credible challenger than Hendrick to Batista, maybe he should get another shot one day. Will send my picks for next week soon.

Agreed. I’d like to see Kendrick built up to become more credible and I’d like to see Benjamin go in a different direction for now.

Voting has closed. (thanks to dcw1.) "Past. Present. Always." The WWX video opens the show.Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! We are coming to you live from Providence, Rhode Island." We start with Josh Matthews in the ring. Matthews: "Please welcome my guests at this time, the Hurt Business." They make their way down to the ring, then when they get there MVP snatches the microphone out of Matthews' hand. MVP: "Your questions can wait, if they're important at all, I'll address them here anyway. First, let me tell you all a story. It should be familiar to you. You've seen it play out on this very show the last few weeks. It's about one individual in particular. That individual goes by the name of...Shelton Benjamin. He clawed his way up the ladder, for years, until finally he not only main evented the show, but competed for the World Title. He lost, was robbed in my opinion but I digress, then, the very next week might I add, he's opening the show against a man who could not even capture the Light Heavyweight Championship, let alone the big one. While some nobody takes his title shot, and also loses. It should be insulting to anyone who has followed that man's career, and Bobby Lashley is one such person." Matthews has gotten another microphone. Matthews: "What about your title shot, MVP?" MVP: "I told you I would address everything if it mattered and, of course, that matters. It's about timing and cunning, you see I had my match with Batista, but I too was robbed. Funny how there's a lot of that going around. Batista is suddenly putting the championship on the line under suspicious circumstances so that he doesn't have to face a real challenge. I was simply going to let it go and cut my losses, but then Batista started defending the World Title against guys who have only gotten as far as the European title in this company." Enter Shelton Benjamin. Benjamin: "Batista and the rest of this roster need a wake up call. This week I'm not even in action. MVP it sounded like you were going somewhere with this, but I wanted to take the opportunity to put Sabu on notice. I will be coming for him next." Tenay: "Lashley is whispering something to MVP, it looks like he didn't appreciate being interrupted. Lashley is signaling to MVP that it's time for them to go, so now we won't know where MVP was planning to go with that. Moving on, though, Lashley is going to be putting his title on the line against a member of the LCWF roster at their Takeover event, MVP will be getting a WWX Title shot at some point in the future, and, apparently, Benjamin is pursuing the Legends Championship now." Virk: "Tonight, Mitch has asked for this opening match up with Grand Champion, The Undertaker. He definitely has something to prove, separating himself from his past with the Spirit Squad if he wants to make it in the singles divisions." Ross: "Before we send it to tonight's opening matchup, however, we have just received an important bulletin from the desk of WWX President, Jack Tunney. It reads, ' As President of this illustrious company, it is my duty to ensure the best possible product at all times. As such, I have decided that I can call for emergency Drafts whenever I feel that they are warranted, so on the October 1st Friday Night Destruction, the WWX will host the first night of it's third draft in history. One quarter of the roster will be eligible to be drafted that night, while the following week will see the rest of the roster up for grabs, and anyone undrafted will automatically become a free agent that can sign with any brand that they choose. These changes will go into effect on the night following our first October PPV, Seizure. Free agents will reach out to General Managers and try to make a deal. With this in mind, I suggest the General Managers plan appropriately as we approach the deadline.' There you have it, a draft can be called at any time if the President wishes it, this could set a bad example, however. What's to stop the General Managers from doing the same thing? Maybe Byron Saxton decides he can call for a Feast or Fired match whenever he wants. I guess we'll have to wait and see how the General Managers take this news." Then we go into a video highlighting Mitch's confrontation with his former stablemate, Johnny, last week. Key words Mitch said were that it was being a part of the Spirit Squad that was the reason Mitch was not even booked in a match that night and told him he wasn't surprised that Johnny had already found a replacement for him. We then see footage of The Undertaker's Best of 7 series with his brother, Kane, which was his debut match in 2011. Mitch is attempting to live up to the performance Kane gave against The Undertaker in that match. Both men make their entrances and this one is ready to get underway. The Undertaker vs. MitchThe bell dings. Right off the bat, Mitch with the go behind, into a roll up. 1...2.! Ross: "I think I speak for everyone when I saw that was a stunning opening few seconds. 10 seconds into this match and Mitch can already say he's gotten a nearfall recorded against The Undertaker." Virk: "Some might say it's because Bearer's not out there with him, but I think he just got caught off guard. Most competitors let 'Taker make the first move, they're usually afraid of him, but Mitch went right after him with something to prove." While Undertaker is grounded, Mitch pulls him into a small package. 1...2.! Tenay: "Another one. Can anyone say they expected us to be 30 seconds into this match and Mitch has almost put the Deadman away twice? Let's hope that sets the tone for this one because Mitch is going to need to get some offense in to pull it out here. Look at Undertaker, he actually has a smirk on his face!" Finally, they tie up, Mitch with a double leg takedown into a waistlock. Mitch fights to keep the waistlock in place, but Undertaker fights to his feet, hits a few elbows, and puts Mitch on the mat with a big right hand. It worked once, so Mitch goes back to the double leg takedown into a waistlock. Tenay: "And we see that smirk back on 'Taker's face as he takes his time, but makes it back to his feet again." Virk: "The fans are divided. We hear them shouting "Let's go Mitch", as well as "Mitch sucks", breaking out of his Spirit Squad mold is going to be difficult, but there are those already behind him." Undertaker hip tosses Mitch, but Mitch comes right back and delivers a fireman's carry takedown. Mitch into the cover. 1..kick out. Ross: "The deadman may have actually been toying with this young man before." Mitch goes back to the waistlock, but Undertaker looks like he's just warming up. Undertaker stands firm on his feet, a few back elbows to Mitch, then another right hand to drop him to the mat. Undertaker covers him and yells at him to stay down. 1..kick out. Undertaker applies a chinlock now. Mitch escapes, but gets put right back down with another hard right hand. Undertaker drags him up and hits a suplex. Undertaker eyes him up as he grabs at his back, Mitch gets back to his feet and Undertaker continues to fire right hands at him. Mitch is wobbling, so Undertaker follows it up by irish whipping hard into back to back corners. Mitch falls to the mat and Undertaker pulls him over for the cover. 1...2..shoulder up. Ross: "Mitch might have bit off more than he could chew by challenging the former Grand Champion right away. The finish to this one may be close, but the kid does still have some fight in him." Mitch is actually exchanging rights and lefts with the Deadman! Mitch actually catches him with a belly to belly suplex. Undertaker is back up quick, dodges a shoulder tackle, and gives one of his own. Mitch escapes out of an attempted Last Ride and hits a dropkick which rocks the phenom. Mitch pulls him into a schoolboy pin. 1...2..kick out. Mitch actually looks like he's having fun, albeit completely out of breath. The dueling Mitch chants start up again as each man starts to make his way back to his feet, they each exchange right hands now. Mitch actually looks as though he's starting to get the upper hand, Undertaker looks wobbly, Mitch goes to whip Undertaker into a corner, but Undertaker turns him around and boots him square in the face. 1...2.rope break. Undertaker connects with old school and signals to the fans. The Undertaker delivers the last ride and slits his thumb across his throat. Undertaker takes him off for the tombstone piledriver, but Mitch wiggles free and backslides him into a pin. 1...2.kick out. Undertaker pulls him into the triangle choke now. Mitch manages, after struggle for some time, to thumb the deadman in the eye, and changes the hold into a crossface. Undertaker manages to move around enough to force Mitch to turn it into a modified chinlock. Undertaker powers up and he drops Mitch with a modified samoan drop out of the fireman's carry. Mitch starts to sit up, but Undertaker boots him in the face of the ropes and goes for the cover. 1...2.shoulder up. Undertaker stands up and is stunned, but Mitch pulls him into a rollup. 1...2..kick out. Virk: "Look at Mitch's face. He can't believe he's been so close so many times, but he knows he's still far from beating the Undertaker one-on-one. Mitch does appear to be winning over some of the fans here tonight." Mitch hits a shoulder tackle that rocks the Undertaker a bit and Mitch pulls the straps of his uniform down as he gets fired up. Undertaker blocks a suplex attempt and chokes Mitch down to the mat. 1...2.Undertaker lets him go. Undertaker lifts him up and connects with the tombstone piledriver. 1...2...3! Here is your winner via pinfall (tombstone piledriver): The Undertaker Ross: "The Undertaker takes this one, but what an unbelievable fight from Mitch tonight." Undertaker helps Mitch up and even gives him a handshake.

No votes received. Simulation incoming. Our thanks to dcw1. "Past. Present. Always." The WWX video opens the show. Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion! We are live tonight from the Manhattan Center in New York, New York. As usual, your hosts for the evening are Adnan Virk and ‘The Professor’ Mike Tenay.” Tenay: “We want to thank you fans for joining us and ringside each and every week for well over a year now, which is why tonight we offer two title matches ahead of our next PPV in just under four weeks time.” Virk: “But don’t forget we have four enemies to contend with that we need your support to show that we are the number one show. After all, we did our 60th show a couple of weeks ago and it’s clear that we are doing something different here. We do a three hour show and I’m certain we are the only ones giving fans nine matches to look forward to each Monday night. Still, if you’ll allow me to speak my mind for a second, I think it’s messed up that our Money in the Bank winner lost his case to Mankind, who then went and defected to Xtreme to become their top guy. If you ask me, we should have a do-over and declare a new Mr. Money in the Bank for Xplosion. Guys like Brother Ray on this roster deserve that chance to elevate themselves and we need to know more about which Money in the Bank winner is only allowed to challenge the champion on their brand. For all we know, somebody could be coming to screw MVP out of his WWX Championship any day now." Virk rips up photos of the other brands logos. The fans were booing while Virk was speaking, but cheered when he ripped up the photos. Ross: “Well it certainly would be an improvement if the Xplosion Money in the Bank winner cashed in on an Xplosion champion. But, that’s something that will have to be discussed by President Tunney and General Manager Tony Schiavone, certainly not us on the announce team.” Tenay: “Is that right? Are you guys hearing this? Okay, sounds like something is happening in the back. Take it guys.” We join the action in the back almost at its conclusion. Rory McAllister is beating the hell out of Scotty 2Hotty and just threw a steel chair in his face. McAllister steals Scotty’s hat and takes off. Tenay: “Well, neither of those men were booked tonight, but they are two of the men trying to climb the ladder in the Light Heavyweight Division, which the championship is on the line tonight. So, we know those two have something to prove against each other, I’m just not sure why now and what this is going to accomplish from Rory McAllister.” Ross: “Well, I’m sure we’ll find out in time. Meanwhile, we have nine matches stacked for you tonight and all of them are worth keeping an eye on. Mitch, who lost to former Grand Champion The Undertaker in last week’s opener, opens the show again, this time against Carlito. Mitch is still hoping to break in to the ranks as a singles wrestler, can he do it tonight or is he better off going after the Codemasters instead? Neither of these guys might seem like much now, but they still put on some great matches. Mitch put on an absolutely fantastic showing against The Undertaker last week. Just think what might happen if he could win the Money in the Bank contract. He just has to have a manager in his corner; I think that might be what he needs to turn the tide.” Tenay: “We’ll provide you with an update on Scotty’s condition as that becomes available. Certainly an xplosive start this evening, which is just as well.” Ross: “We have to move on to the official start of our opening contest, which is between old rivals actually. Mitch and Carlito once upon a time battled each other for the right to be number one contender to the United States Championship with both, ultimately being unsuccessful in that pursuit. This was, of course, years ago, so the two should be quite familiar with each other’s styles now.” Mitch vs. Carlito Roberts: “The following contest is set for one fall. Introducing first, from Mangolia, Texas, weighing in at 250lbs, standing at 6’2, this is Mitch! And introducing the opponent, from the Caribbean, weighing in at 240lbs, standing at 5’10, this is Carlito!” Ross: “This capacity crowd has chosen sides immediately. Huge ovation for Carlito and no fanfare at all for Mitch, despite his showing against The Undertaker, who showed him respect after that matchup.” Mitch immediately gets in Carlito’s face. You can hear him dare Carlito to spit in his face. Carlito goes for it, Mitch goes to slap the apple out of his mouth, but Carlito catches him with a drop toe hold and still spits in his face. Carlito washes the back of Mitch’s head, so Mitch complains to referee Earl Hebner. At this point, Scotty 2 Hotty comes down to ringside and joins the commentary team. Carlito kicks Mitch’s legs out from under him. Mitch tries to go for a double leg takedown, but Carlito moves out of the way and connects with a leg drop. Carlito lets Mitch up and hits him with a drop toe hold, then smacks his head around. Mitch has had it, backs Carlito into a corner, and gets a few good chops in. Carlito fights his way out of the corner with a hip toss, followed by a dropkick when Mitch gets to his feet rather quickly. Mitch escapes to the outside and Carlito tries to chase him, but they end up running around the ring. Hotty: “McAllister knows the two of us are at the bottom of the ladder, so he must be planning to go after us all one by one.” Both men back in the ring now with a count at 9. Carlito takes Mitch down with a headlock takeover. His shoulders hit the mat: 1…shoulder up. Mitch rolls Carlito back for a pin attempt: 1..kick out. Mitch lets his shoulders drop again: 1…2..kick out. Mitch actually rolls Carlito up this time: 1…2..shoulder up. They trade blows as each man makes his way back to his feet. Carlito delivers a shoulder tackle, then irish whips him into the corner for some chops. Tenay: “Hold on, we’re getting word that President Tunney was not happy at all about the picture ripping incident, Virk. He did not want brand warfare, especially not with another draft coming up. Back to the action now, Mitch and Carlito exchange wristlocks, then Mitch goes for an abdominal stretch only to be hiptossed by Carlito. Mitch right back up though, and both men attempt dropkicks, they’re matching each other hold for hold right now. Carlito regains focus first and he’s got an armlock with the point of his elbow driving into the back on.” Mitch manages to get to the ropes and force the break, then dropkicks Carlito, who rolls to the outside. Mitch follows him and slams him face first off the steel barricade at ringside. Mitch follows it up with a jawbreaker, and then stays on him with some kicks to the head, when he falls to the ground. Mitch rolls him back in the ring, hits a backbreaker, and goes for the cover. 1…2..kick out. Mitch sets him up in a chinlock. Tenay: “The problem with this fiasco is that it makes the brand look bad and President Tunney is going to make an example out of us. I’m at a loss, but it appears President Tunney is going to overrule the general manager and be a stern figure of authority in cases that he feels calls for it.” Carlito starts to fight his way to his feet, but Mitch stops it by planting him with a DDT. Mitch lifts him up and delivers a gutwrench powerbomb into the cover: 1…2..NO Carlito throws him off. Carlito mounts him on the mat and punches away at him. Carlito delivers an inverted atomic drop and follows it up with a neck snap.
Ross: “Wait, who is this…it’s The Miz who knows that Carlito is on track for an FTW Title match and is out here to confront him. It’s the first time anyone has mentioned such an opportunity for Carlito, so we have to expect Miz is trying to put him in his place, so to speak, here.” Mitch hits Carlito from behind with a high knee and Carlito goes tumbling to the outside right in front of Miz. Miz starts chopping away at Carlito as Earl Hebner tries to prevent Mitch from following Carlito to the outside. Miz rolls Carlito into the ring, Mitch tries to take advantage of the interference with a delayed vertical suplex, but Carlito knees him in the top of the head and connects with the backstabber! 1…2…3! Roberts: "Here is your winner by way of pinfall (backstabber): Carlito" Virk: “That was some good action that we just were not able to do justice due to this inane picture scandal. Mitch once again falls short of his potential championship pursuits, but the story here is this new Miz/Carlito rivalry, which is noteworthy because there are a number of individuals who have laid claim to competing for the FTW Title. So, time will tell if those two can contain this feud to just between them or if the rest of the competitors are going to get involved.”

Voting has closed. Our appreciation to dcw1 "Past. Present. Always." The WWX video opens the show.Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion and we are live tonight from Minneapolis, Minnesota!” We see clips of Mitch’s struggle to get over with the audience over the last few weeks. Rob Van Dam is headed to the ring to kick things off tonight. RVD holds up what used to be his Money in the Bank briefcase.
RVD: “Nobody could do better than me. I am taking over ladder matches on this brand.” Virk: “It looks like RVD is going to lead the protest to hold another Money in the Bank ladder match before the scheduled date.” Tenay laughs at the idea. Roberts: “The following contest is set for one fall with a 10 minute time limit. When he is ready, the man in charge Mr. Andrew Thomas, will signal for the bell and the first man to gain a pinfall or a submission will be declared the winner. Introducing the competitors first, from Mangolia, Texas, weighing in at 250lbs, this is Mitch! And introducing his opponent, from Waynesboro, Virginia, weighing in at 202lbs, this is Kid Kash!”Mitch vs. Kid Kash The bell dings. Mitch and Kash lock up and jostle for position along the ropes. Kash ducks a clothesline and hits him with a dropkick. Mitch pops right back up and puts him in a side headlock, but Kash pushes him off the ropes and gives him a hip toss all the way over the top rope and down to the ringside area. Kash rolls out and hits him with a few chops against the barricade. Then, he rolls him back inside the ring and Rory McAllister is phoning in to the announcer’s table. Mitch thumbs Kash in the eye as he is getting back in the ring. McAllister: “Scotty got lucky. He found success in a group and as a singles guy, but guys like me and Mitch we have to work twice as hard to be noticed for what we can do on our own. Well, soon enough, when I walk away with the Light Heavyweight Title, then nobody will make the mistake of thinking there are guys in this business who can only get the job done as a member of a tag team.” Tenay: “People are starting to call Mitch the green horse of the Spirit Squad and, with his track record lately, it’s difficult to argue with them. Some have even suggested he is letting himself go, but we’re not going to touch on that. Rory, at Gold Rush in Las Vegas, should we bet on you to challenge the champion, John Morrison?” Rory: “It may not look like it will be me right now, but a Highlander prefers bad odds.” Kash is chopping away at Mitch in the corner, Mitch lands a jab every other chop, but Kash stops any momentum he may have been building with a headbutt. Kash pulls Mitch out of the corner and delivers a samoan drop. He lifts Mitch up double underhook style and hits him with the Money Maker. Lateral press: 1...2...3! Roberts: "The winner of the match, as a result of a pinfall (money maker): Kid Kash!"

Decent last couple weeks, two good matches with Mitch from the Spirit Squad. I like him being referred to as the ‘Green Horse’ lol I can sense a slight push eventually for Mitch. If Undertaker doesn’t single handedly destroy everyone in that match he’s been put in next week, then you’ve missed a trick.
Good stuff, a lot of improvement from when you first started.

Voting has closed. Special thank you to dcw1 for the logo. Ross: "Welcome everyone to Monday Night Xplosion!" We kick things off tonight with a recap of the Bobby Lashley vs. Heidenreich match for the NWA Championship. Virk: “Also, as everyone is no doubt aware by now, anyone who holds any of the three NWA Titles is eligible to compete on any show. As such, tonight, we will see the NWA World Tag Team Champions compete on Xplosion for the first time. Only, they each have singles bouts. Each of them make their Xplosion debuts and they certainly want to look impressive for the GM because it is his opinion that the NWA is not as selective with their championship divisions as they should be.” Mitch immediately makes his entrance for his match, after the highlights package ends, by himself. However, when Mitch is in the ring, Johnny comes out to watch from the top of the ramp and he has brought his own chair with him. Matt Morgan makes his entrance and when he gets to the ring Mitch tries to attack him before the bell is rung, but Morgan beats him to it with a double leg takedown. Morgan follows Mitch out to the floor and drives him back first into the steel ring steps, then the steel ringside barrier, and then the announce table. Morgan shoves him into the ring and then reaches under the ring for a kendo stick. Johnny starts motioning down to the ring with a steel chair in hand; Morgan slams the kendo stick off the top rope, and dares Johnny to come in. Morgan picks Mitch up, delivers the carbon footprint, and then motions for a steel cage to be lowered! Morgan heads out to chase Johnny back up the ramp with the kendo stick before sliding back in the ring just as the cage has finished surrounding the ring. Tenay: “It appears as if Matt Morgan has taken it upon himself to start an impromptu steel cage match with Mitch here in the opening minutes of this week’s broadcast. Referee Mike Chioda is signaling for the bell and nobody is coming out here to stop this, so, ladies and gentlemen, a steel cage match!” Steel Cage Match "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan vs. "The Green Horse" Mitch The bell dings. Morgan mounts the grounded Mitch and punches away at his face and head, but, while his back is turned, Johnny tries to climb the cage. Morgan pulls Mitch back to his feet, short arm clothesline, and then he throws him into the cage, which happens to knock Johnny off. Morgan lifts him up and slams him back first into the cage once more. Johnny is beside himself on the outside. Charlie Haas runs down the ramp now and tries to climb the cage, but, once again, Morgan tosses Mitch into the cage and knocks Haas off. Virk: “Mitch has been absolutely out of it for this entire match. I mean, he has yet to make one offensive move, or even a defensive one for that matter.” Johnny and Haas confer with each other and then both try to climb at the same time, but Morgan knocks them both off by throwing Mitch into the steel mesh yet again. Morgan is staring down Haas with the kendo stick in hand and Johnny is almost able to make it in, but Morgan gets to him in time and knocks him down with a kendo stick shot to the head. Morgan motions at Haas and almost takes Mitch’s head off with a brutal kendo stick shot baseball bat style. Morgan finally goes for the cover: 1…2…3! Here is your winner via pinfall (kendo stick to the face): Matt Morgan Ross: “We already have Tom Philips on standby waiting to interview Matt Morgan and the number one question on everyone’s minds is how he was able to make this a steel cage match after we just witnessed two minutes and eighteen seconds of pure mind games? We see Morgan there on the top of the cage in a stare down with Haas and Johnny, which their involvement in this is also unclear. We know Mitch and Johnny were at one time members of the Spirit Squad together, but they’ve had something of a falling out of late.” Tenay: “In addition, we had a cage match advertised for tonight but it was supposed to involve the Hurt Business and major challengers to both the NWA and WWX Championships, so we have to expect that that was somehow in play here as well.”
