I’ve opened all the figures I’ve gotten so far. All bought from RSC.
I’ve only ever seen one of these figures in a store. A lone Penta on a peg in Walmart, long after I’d gotten my figures from RSC.

I cherry pick this line pretty heavily. Only getting my favorites. So far Ive got series 1 Young Bucks, series 2 Moxley, and series 3 Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin. Only got one of Mox to open, but the rest I got 2 each (one to open, one for MOC)

I've opened everything, but like PJ I'm still trying to figure out a spot. I'm a little leery of putting them on my shelves until there are some figure stands. They've fallen over multiple times already, and really worry about figures diving to the floor. So right now S1+2 are in a glass cabinet in our bedroom. My wife is thrilled with that...

I'm collecting both right now. I'd like to complete Waves 1-5 then after that I'll cherry pick and probably open them. That certainly sounds like a plan... any reasons why you just want to do that for series 1-5? Or just because that’s the first few series and would be rare in future. I just feel like 1-5 will be the rarer of the lot. It'd be cool to (hopefully) look back and be proud that I went after those. I also feel like the hype will start to fade and they'll be as readily available as Elites. |

MOC with figure defenders. This is my first foray into figures as an adult (I grew in the 90s with hasbros and BCA's), and I couldn't resist since the line just started. I decided to go ALL IN (pun intended) and collect all AEW figures (chases, rsc exclusives, and figures that come with rings). Maybe I'll turn this into an investment, but for now I have them stored in a bookshelf.

I open them up, they're toys dammit! I open all the figures and toys I collect, and AEW is no different. I open them up, and display them in the AEW Authentic ring. The only time I keep something MOC/MIB is if it's from the 80's/90's when I was a kid, just to have that nostalgic feel of what it was like to see these items on shelves back in the day. But even then, I gotta have that same vintage figure again to open up.

Oh yeah, obviously keep anything that might sell MoC but even loose AEW figures are commanding close to MoC prices on ebay at the moment. When looses are a little cheaper I'll probably just buy looses and sell the MoC ones if the market can bear it.

Mint IN BOX its a pet peeve of mine. It’s not on a card, it’s in a plastic bubble in a box. You can say whatever, but you’re wrong.
Anywho, not a big fan of AEW the show, just some people there. I’ve got about 5 now and might get Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy, but probably good after that.

I have Series 1 Brandi in a defender MOC, with a defender coming soon for Series 1 Jericho. Debating on if Series 2 Hangman will be MOC or not. Good chance I will and then re-evaluate once series 5 comes out.
But outside of them, they're loose on my shelf.

If I was able to even find them, I would have wanted to buy two of each. One to keep MOC and one to have loose and on display.
I've literally only found Series 2 Dustin Rhodes in the wild and its staying in the box for now.
