Coyotes and Mountain Lions; when you live in the Southwest and in a area surrounded by mesa these guys wonder in and live near. And I don't know why I have so much of a phobia toward them. Ever since; I seen snake crawl through toilet on a show; I check before I start. lol Been very paranoid of a home invasion or a random attack. Being in Law Enforcement doesn't help; but I am overly watchful and observant of those around me. The coyote thing is interesting. Here in NY, a wild coyote is like in the news for weeks it seems. The first time I visited Arizona, I was shocked at how chill most people seemed about them just walking around. On that same trip, I also went to the desert museum, and when I walked by the coyote enclosure they kept following me as I walked along. I told my friend later on, and she was like “Probably because the coyote is your spirit animal.” I didn’t even know how to respond to that.

They're for sure common out here; in New Mexico you don't need to work that hard to spot one. I think it's more of I have small pets; and I let Native American Folklore/ paranormal beliefs spook me to much. Coytotes are seen as tricksters/shapeshifters in a lot of southwestern Native American folklore.

Tight spaces, things touching me, that bloke that died in the nutty putty cave seems like the most unbearable thing to ever happen to a person like just read about that nutty putty cave...wow, that would be so terrible Couldn’t imagine a fate worse, sad that they almost had him and then the rope hoist broke

She was telling me someone who’s a coyote will indirectly teach you something, or make you laugh when you’re feeling down. She’s like way into dreams and folklore.

I have two big phobias...
Agoraphobia. Basically I get panic/anxiety attacks from being out of my house (or home area) for more than a little while. After years of effort, I'm able to handle small jaunts, like to the grocery store or to run an errand somewhere not too far from home, but I'm talking an hour or hour and a half (maybe two if I have someone I know well with me). And even that will result in an attack when I return home or on the way home. Im also not able to interact very well when I'm out. Typical pleasantries (like at a drive thru or checkout counter) are about all i can muster. Those little excruaions also leave me completely exhausted, so I can't do them everyday.
Also have Iatrophobia (fear of doctors) and pharmaphobia (fear of taking medicine). Really anything related to real life medical issues, but doctors and drugs especially. I can even watch real life medical shows (stuff like House or Grey's Anatomy are fine because they're ridiculously unrealistic). It'll cause a panic attack just thinking about having to go to the doctor or coming down with a condition that would require long term medicine use.
