[b I’m not in it to make money. I bought the first 2 series because I was excited we had a new line of figures, now I’ve lost interest in them. Was just thinking if i should sell now or wait a while That’s different. I’m just really tired of people being like “ooh I’m gonna collect these just to sell for money because I’m greedy and nothing brings me real joy” I’d say wait. Elite 1 is worth a lot now, as was Classic Superstars 1 back when people could stomach looking at Jakks
I respect that -- I would DEF. hold on some (MJF, Lucha Bros, and probably Hangman and Dustin). I'd def. dump the Moxley

If you have series 1 Brandi, you'll be set for life Is she really that hard to come by in the States? Wasn’t too difficult a task getting her here in the UK Hell walking into a Walmart or Target and finding anything AEW other than the basic ring and kids belts is difficult. Between five WalMarts and now seven Targets I have seen the remains of the series 1 display cube once which consisted of three or four of both Cody & Jericho, five or six Omega figures and 1 Nick Jackson. That was back on 8/23 since then all that I have seen is one series 1 Omega on the pegs. I have never seen a Matt Jackson or Brandi from series 1 and have yet to see anything from series 2 or series 3. |

I hate the scalpers who have basically ruined this line for those of us who would just like to have some nice figures to pose and enjoy. I have been sitting on a Road Warrior Animal figure that I had up for sale for a modest price, but then he passed so I took it down out of respect. Out of principle. And I say that as someone who needed that money. Even pittance makes a difference for me these days and I get people flipping items for a small profit or selling a collectable after actually enjoying it for several years, but most of these people have gone straight to the end game of charging 600 dollars for a damn moxley figure. It's ludicrous. And I don't even want a moxley figure and I think it's ridiculous. I dont blame anyone who resells during these times, as a lot of people are down on $$$ and its not their fault. It sucks as someone trying to collect for the love, but I was naive to think that this market wouldnt be affected by resellers when EVERYTHING gets resold in 2020- and now 2021. I paid ~400 for a chase Moxley, and trust me, its not fun to look at your bank account after. I wish it wasnt this way, but what can you do? If you go to any other hobby, people will be reselling crap also so GG. Pick your poison. On the ethics of making people pay double/more for something, is up to you. I sold a loose series 1 and a fresh case of series 2 to diff people for about ~20 over retail, I coulda used more money but these people either had kids who wanted them, or also wanted a loose set for display. I made gas money, and they got figs for pretty much retail. I think thats fair. I would just say if you need money and can sell it for double, do it! Dont be Mr high morality with an empty belly. Of course were not gonna like it since were trying to acquire the things they are trying to sell for higher. I just kind of chalked it to the game. I caved in on my RETAIL or bust rule, and if you want things bad enough, UNFORTUNATELY, you will too. Try not to be too mad about them damn scalpers. They are like cockroaches. |

but then I realized I could make money off it as well as a back up if I needed. Its pretty cool collecting what you like and knowing its also worth something if you need to sell it for whatever reason. I want TH2 figures I will buy Angelicos just to incinerate them for that stupid ass entrance. Jesus it's not even heel annoying, it's just annoying. But yeah, I'm trying to make my hobby pay for itself as much as possible. I think it's mostly possible if you do it right. |

What would that be, whatever the plastic is worth? I'm not sure if that has a hyper-specific technical definition, but I'd argue a toy has very little intrinsic value. |

I opened them son bitc*es up and threw down with biggest 30 min featuring picture and picture fig fed main event I have done in years. I cut out & kept all the AEW cardboard logos from the boxes to dress up my Jakks ring to make it look more presentable.

Everything I've collected toy wise in the past I've kept in the package, mainly because it's easier to hang them on the wall and display them that way but I splurged on the big ring and now I'm destroying packaging left and right. I'm gonna put a few special things on ice, but i think i'm going to use my rasslin' figures as more of a diorama type thing. |

Seriously, that dance makes me want to punch things more than almost anything else on earth. It's actually pretty impressive in that regard.
