Festival of Friendship was a Kmart exclusive I don't think so. I definitely saw it at a couple of Targets. But most Targets in my area didn't carry the line at all. You may be right. The only place that I ever saw that was Kmart

The only place that I ever saw that was Kmart That period was a mess. Some Walmarts were getting Entrance Greats, a few Targets had Epic Moments, but nothing was carried consistently from store to store or got more than one case in. No wonder both lines got cancelled.

The only Entrance Greats I remember seeing in that time period was Jeff Hardy. Other than that I've never seen any others

it goes to show you how absolutely clueless and out of touch "big box" is with the toy/collectible market.
they sell $50 toys all over the place, and none of them as popular as WWE elites. but they wont stock Elite 2 Packs? they'll flood pegs with top talent because they "have to have figures of the guys on TV" yet those are the ones that sit there and rot for months and months and months. so they invest the money and shelf space on that one off chance that a mom is looking for roman reigns for her son even though mattel has made 47 roman's already
but they wont properly stock the sets that COLLECTORS want. who....make up as much of the wrestling figure buying population as kids.
its like they just cant admit that wrestling is nowhere near as popular with kids as it used to be. there's never enough space in these stores and the people working in them dont care.

Yeah I saw it at K-Mart too. The one I bought I got from Ringside. I’m not sure I ever saw it at Target myself. Maybe I did and just don’t remember after seeing it in a bunch of other places.

I don’t get it either. They could probably sell them well and not have a flood of stock either. They aren’t released every month and by the time the first shipment is sold out the next would be rolling.

They aren’t released every month and by the time the first shipment is sold out the next would be rolling. I don't think it's fair to put this only on retailers. I'm sure a BIG part of why there's so much focus on current wrestlers is because that's what WWE tells Mattel they want. All things aren't created equal though. I think Mattel has burned a lot of their bridges with multi-pack items. The HOF 2-packs at Target bombed. The initial waves of UE didn't sell well because collectors didn't want Nakamura and Ronda. And the reality is that mega-brands like Star Wars or Marvel are going to get a lot more leeway than a product like WWE that isn't as big. Hasbro is also a much larger company, and can leverage that to get items into stores where as Mattel has been struggling for years. But the WWE line has a long history of questionable lineup choices when launching a new product line, and I think we've reached the point where that has caught up with them. It sucks for collectors, but I don't think it's going to change either. If anything, it seems like the product offerings at retail are getting smaller, not larger.

The only place I ever seen an epic moments set at retail was the festival of friendship at toysrus before they sadly went out.

To be fair, I HATE Target and Walmart; but I wouldn't take Elite 2 packs either. I really think they'd sit...

If I was Walmart/Target I would also have them as online only items. Target always ends up clearance going the ML ones and I have a feeling the same is going to happen with the McFarlane DC 2-packs Targets are now carrying.

The last X Men 2 packs sold in my area, some were a little slow but they went eventually

100% agree. Two-packs would sit.

Not only that they would 100% be theft bait. I have a Walmart where every time there’s new elites with titles belts the titles are stolen within the day. With the 2-Packs it would be a given that the belts would be stolen or the figures would be swapped and returned.

When I ordered mine they were sold out the next day. Glad I got it in time. Has to be my all-time favorite 2-pack.
