Jazwares also want to do exchange stuff but they make it more optional I think I’ll end up sending them my broken figure but I’d like to get a confirmation of the replacement being sent first To be fair, I believe an exchange policy is starting to become a necessity as more people try to find ways to scam companies for anything they can get. I’ve had experience with this at multiple jobs. At my current job, we have a policy where if we need to replace something, we send the customer a prepaid label, and we send out a replacement when we get the defective one back. We had found that a lot of people were calling to say they had defective products, but really just wanted extras for free. I also used to work at a pizzeria where I set up an exchange policy. If we had to replace something we used to just let the customer keep the original. But it got to a point where this one guy would call every week and order a pizza with meatballs. We would deliver it and then he would call back and say he ordered a pizza with sausage. It was the same guy every week, so I figured out what he had figured out a way to get 2 pizzas for the price of 1. Then next time he called for a replacement I told him he had to send back the meatball pizza. He tried to argue, but knew he got busted and said he didn’t want the sausage pizza anymore. It’s unfortunate, but some people suck and ruin things for everyone else. For the record, I haven’t had any issues with ringside in the decade plus I’ve been ordering from them. I sent them a picture of the broken one as part of the process so 🤷🏻♀️ |

To use the company I work for as an example, anyone can easily send a picture that’s not actually their item. Also, we wouldn’t go against policy, because that just makes things messy. With businesses, policies and procedures can make or break you. |

I miss the days before really lame gimmick posters became the norm on this site. like the guy who had the red rooster for $1,000 on eBay since it would “never” come out and everyone’s favorite the guy with the truck driving uncle. To be fair, his truck driving uncle is a bona-fide legend. Who needs an UE Ric Flair figure... where is my Ultimate Edition Truck Driving Uncle?! |
