I'm glad. I was thinking about it because it felt like pretty good value but as I'm not a wrestling T-shirt in regular life type of guy, I'd have a lot of unused tees pretty quick. I'd have been more interested in 2 microbrawlers instead. That would be cool if all aew crates were tag teams. Or manager and talent. Anyway, I'm curious about how many got made and if they increase that number next quarter.

I think with the regular crates, the autograph is the only limitation since they get them signed months in advance. With AEW being quarterly, they would probably have time to adjust. But who knows how many autographs somebody would really want to sign. I'm not a big wrestling shirt person myself. Before the crates, the only wrestling tshirts I own are ones I've had since the Attitude Era that I maybe wear once a year for a Royal Rumble party. But I needed to replace some old tshirts, so to me $10/shirt is a good value even if they're just for cutting the grass or working out. There are definitely some more "neutral" designs that I've started wearing as part of my day-to-day rotation though.

Good point. 5,000 probably is the limit for autographs. No wonder it sold out so fast. AEW has a lot more fans then that.

I honestly think it could sell twice that many after the first crate comes out and gets some social media traction. But not sure that they'll be able or interested in taking that many orders. Just reading a lot of comments online and in some Unrivaled groups, I'm amazed how many people think that the tshirts are just PWT overstock, or that they just pack out random crap from their warehouse. I saw a TON of people referencing bad experiences with Loot Crate, and assuming this was basically the same thing. I can't say I always love every single item in the crates or that I don't have a love/hate relationship with PWT. But they absolutely deliver great bang for your buck on the crates, and it's probably a no brainer for most AEW fans.

I think if they wanted to do 10,000 crates now, they could have reached that target. The closing date for orders was September. I'm sure there are a lot of guys like me who would have been convinced in the next couple of months to order.
I mean, they are advertised as having exclusive items and we didn't even get to clarifying that before the sellout. I really can't believe any of this talk that they are just being filled with PWT overstock. It's genuinely not hard to create a T-shirt design and put out a limited run. A great design might be harder but an exclusive design doesn't have to be great. And the microbrawlers can be pre-existing AEW talent with different (and exclusive) gear.
Looking forward to seeing these come out. I'm going to tune out the doubters because they are probably not the target audience.
And apologies to the ProWrestlingCrate community for this mini-AEWcrate chatter.

And apologies to the ProWrestlingCrate community for this mini-AEWcrate chatter. Maybe it makes sense to start an AEW Crate thread closer to the first box. But it seems like there's probably a decent amount of overlap with the PWC crowd here. Regardless, I'm really looking forward to seeing what they put together. I don't want to get my hopes too high, but honestly a few cool AEW brawlers if they get an autograph of maybe one upper card talent per year, I'd be over the moon. Back on topic, has anybody gotten their PWC shipping notification this month? They used to be like clockwork that crates would ship the 14/15th and I'd have them by the 20th. I'm not patient lol

Update: Just got shipping for the crate.

-Eddie Guerrero and Bruiser Brody Shirts: Perfect. Brody and Eddie were the two I really wanted it shirt form, and they didn’t disappoint. Design-wise, both look like shirts I would actually buy myself. -Brian Pillman Brawler: Kind of predictable, but again, the exact one I was hoping for. I love all things Pillman, and having Flyin Brian to go next to the upcoming Loose Cannon is huge. -Harley Race Sticker: Love Harley, will look great on my laptop. -Vader Pin: Probably the best two-piece pin yet, and I’m a Vader mark. -LOD Ball: Weird, but a cool Halloween decoration. -Ladies of Wrestling DVD: Looks interesting. -New Jack Auto: Very cool. Great photo to, not a typical 8x10. All in all, might be my favorite Crate ever. Next month’s lineup has a lot of potential as well.

Got my Crate the other day and absolutely love it. I'm wearing the Brody shirt today.
Pullman was perfect for the brawler, though I do hope we get Harley.
As a huge Luger fan, I'm excited for next month.

While it was kind of obvious, the Mox item for next month's crate is confirmed to be a tee.

So the next crate most likely will have a Kerry Von Erich, Janela, or Adam Bomb micro brawler. I’m gonna go with Kerry cause I don’t think people would be into a Janela brawler and correct me if I’m wrong but Bomb just recently got the rights to the gimmick so it might be too soon.
