Yes, about a month ago. We take precautions, but I have a big, close extended family and my grandma lives with us. I tested positive about a week after my grandma’s birthday. I felt totally fine, but a family member stopped by to see my grandma for her birthday. The next day, he texted saying that he woke feeling sick and got tested. He tested positive, so we went to get tested. We all tested positive, but luckily all experienced very minor symptoms.
Weird thing is prior to tested positive, I felt completely fine. No symptoms at all. Then after testing positive, I started feeling tired and that night my blood pressure dropped so low I almost passed out. After that, for about a week/week and a half, I had a weird thing where I’d experience a symptom for a day or two, then it would go away. Then, the next day I’d have different symptoms, also only for about a day or two. The only symptoms that really lasted the whole time were fatigue and a light cough. I kinda half believe my symptoms were mentally induced. Not once did I ever have a fever, have trouble breathing, or lose my sense of taste and/or smell. It was all the types of symptoms your brain could convince you that you have.
I’ve been debating about getting retested. The doctor told me to just quarantine for 10 days and I’d be fine, but I still felt like I should get retested. During my 10 days, I looked up what the CDC said on the matter. They say to quarantine for 10 from either the first symptoms or a positive test (if you’re asymptomatic). They also say beyond the 10 days, continue quarantine until symptoms have improved (not counting loss of taste or smell) and you’ve had at least 24 hours without a fever. They say not to get retested unless you go somewhere where proof of a negative test is required or if your doctor suggests it. This is because trace amounts of the virus can be in your system for like 3 months and can be possibly picked up on a test, even if you’re no longer sick or contagious.
The family member that originally tested positive has since tested negative in order to return to work, and I feel great so I’m going to hold off on getting retested. Also, my doctor is on vacation and I couldn’t get an appointment until next month.
I get regular exercise, eat fairly healthy, and take vitamins, which I think helped me have a very minor case. My grandma has been sick for years, but she’s returned to her normal level of sickness, so that’s kinda good.

I just came off an isolation period because of exposure, but was asymptomatic and didn't require a test. (Our health care system recommended isolation but not to go get a test unless I developed symptoms to reduce the strain on testing capacities. I asked, I'm not just being negligent). The school I work at is connected with another school in a small city an hour a way and I had to go there for a day, and got exposed. That school had a huge outbreak where almost everyone had it (which is why they were pulling people from my city to go work there and get subs in for us). Kinda knew what I was walking into lol. Kids all come from group homes and have tons of behavioral issues so them having masks and being distanced just doesn't happen. Surprised it took this long for the outbreak really, and can't believe our actual school hasn't had one yet.

Nope. Did get tested when I travelled across the country for my wedding but that came back negative. Wasn't a fun test, but I'm a big baby :-P

My 18 mo old test positive after showing symptoms. My wife and daughter soon followed and I got it a week after they did but never tested. They got it from my wife's friend, who got it from her grandpa during thanksgiving, my wife had to meet her friend for business. I was not there so i didn't get it when they did.
everyone involved is ok and didn't have any bad symptoms. I had a head cold for a week, itchy throat as if i needed to clear it, and loss of taste for about 2 or 3 days. No muscle aches or respiratory issues.
* I have been waaay sicker many times compared to what i had with this. January of this year i was sicker than a dog throwing up buckets full, cold and hot flashes, sweats, and aches. super sick. This was right before covid was a thing in the news.
My father in law and his GF who is a teacher have had it. Another family friend and her family have had it twice.
I had a friend who i hadnt seen in years get it right after halloween and was on a ventilator for about a month, he died basically from his lungs hardening from the vent.

I haven't but right now I have a aunt and cousin in the hospital with it and around 10 more family members with it. The odd thing its been around this long and I only knew two people with it personally but within the last two or three weeks I could name at least 20-25 family or close friends that's tested positive.

Honestly, I don’t really see it as unfortunate this deep into the pandemic. I feel like at some point before this is all over, most people will have had it to some degree. I feel lucky (especially for my grandma who has a lot of underlying conditions) that we all had minor cases and we’re all recovered. Also, we’ve since found out the source of the spread. For a bit we weren’t sure if we had it and gave it to the family member that visited, or the other way around. Turns out we all got it from someone we had mutually come in contact with that day, who had it, didn’t say anything, and wasn’t quarantining. I also have another family member that had it closer to the start of the pandemic. Her coworker was feeling sick, so she decided to get tested. This family member felt perfectly fine, but decided to go get tested too just in case. When they got the results back, my family member tested positive, and her coworker tested negative. Another family member got tested over the summer after a possible exposure. She tested negative for Covid, but positive for antibodies. She had it at some point previously, and didn’t even realize it.

I'm really convinced I already had Covid before it was known worldwide. I went to the beach and walked by some bars on the way for New Years (2020) and as soon as I got home. I had chills, body ache and fatigue. I was sick for like 2 weeks even lost my taste for a few days but luckily after a lot of cold medicine and ibuprofen I managed to recover from it.

Around the first week of March I suddenly came down with a weeklong illness. Was a tad concerned but never sought treatment or diagnosis, as were the recommendations unless one had known contact or serious respiratory symptoms. Pretty sure it was the flu but it held my attention until things went away on their own.

Thankfully not that I am aware of nor has my wife. I have asthma and the last thing I need is a respiratory virus. We are both very careful when we are out to stay away from the jerks who don't want to wear a mask/mask down to chin/pulled off nose/etc indoors (and even outdoors). For some reason these a-holes want to gravitate towards me. I don't give a damn if anyone want to go maskless, just stay the hell away from me is all. Even my wife's family are full of morons & ignoramuses. They have the gall to ask my wife to go to some party, I forget what is was for but they will be in a small house with many people unmasked. Like yeah ok, my wife will go and risk killing her husband. Ok, idiots. Even my wife's elderly Aunt & Uncle were going to go and they have all kinds of medical issues. I told my wife to do what ever it takes to talk them out of going. Thankfully they are not (that we know of). Stupid humans.

This is what I call a THREAD.
It's been really disappointing to see so many wrestlers and companies not taking it seriously enough -- will never look at someone like Chris Jericho the same after the past year. Too bad.

My brother, my sister-in-law, my niece & my nephew's girlfriend have it. My 7 month old grand nephew has a slight fever, but didn't get his results back yet. As of last night, they are all feeling better. I don't think they got the vaccine, though. Please be careful, folks. Like Jack Specific said- there are a lot of idiots who don't know how to properly wear their masks. Keep your distance & wash your hands. And it absolutely disgusts me that I still see people spitting in public.

I had chills, body ache and fatigue. I was sick for like 2 weeks even lost my taste for a few days but luckily after a lot of cold medicine and ibuprofen I managed to recover from it. I fully believe I had it in late 2019 too. Before I'd even heard about it, my friends from home came to visit me at University that November and we went out to a club that night with some friends from my classes. One of them was coughing and seemed a bit ill but we were all drunk and thought nothing of it. A few days passed and they texted me while on the journey home saying they felt just about every symptom now related to Covid. I had woken up that day with a headache and later that night I started feeling ill myself and ended up having a cough that lasted until New Years though my other symptoms were gone within a couple weeks. I did the same and stocked up on cold medicine and ibuprofen and have been fine since. My mum caught it at work in April though so her, my brother and I all had to isolate. She was fine after the 14 day period but it took a bit longer for her to get her sense of taste back. Neither my brother or I felt ill but I'm assuming we were both asymptomatic as there would have been no way to avoid it with all 3 of us in the same house (though I didn't get tested). It was during the first lockdown anyway so we had no reason to leave the house, I didn't end up going out again myself other than for a run until May or June.

You really have to be careful there because it's not a big place and there is a lot of people in there most of the time and people there are notorious for pulling their masks down or not even wearing one. It's one of the reasons I try to avoid Wawa for the most part. SO back on track... I kid you not, gods honest truth, there was a guy there that had one of those winter hats/mask that had the eyes exposed... and wait for it... the mouth exposed! Yep only the nose was covered. That was his mask. Is anyone really that stupid? man oh man.... humans.
