I can’t believe that the “leaked” picture of the Rock fig is real. I see no mention of Universal on there and the picture on the back looks really bad.

The fast franchise is insanely popular earning billions in box office revenue worldwide. Rock and Cena from those movies may not appeal to a lot of us on these boards but it will definitely bring new eyes on the product. Even if a bunch of people only buy those two figures and no other WWE, that's still a pretty massive get for them. Those are huge, huge movies.
And obviously the Piper one is going to have significant crossover with us, between the amount of Legends collectors here and the general cult fandom for They Live. Really the only things missing here are No Holds Barred figures, and I wouldn't be shocked if they make an Elite 2-pack at some point. (Because really, if you were just going to make a Hogan, you'd put him in here for the 4-figure wave just like Target gets.)
Vince financed No Holds Barred so WWE owns the rights. I agree that an Elite 2-pack makes sense (if Mattel is worried about Zeus selling on his own). They might be holding off on any NHB Hogan figures until if/when Zeus is signed. |

I would happily buy an entire Fast and Furious line so there's money waiting for whoever gets the license. The Hobbs is disappointing though as Hobbs rarely smiles and this figure just looks like a wrestling version with as little actual likeness to Hobbs' signature look. Even if they threw a Shield vest on him it would have looked better.
I do hope we get a Zeus figure out of this line if nothing else.
