The problem isn't criticism -- it's the way you are doing it. The best way to attract flies is with honey. If you bitch and complain and crap all over someone -- what are the chances they are not going to respond to what you're saying? Highly doubtful.
Compare that to what could happen if you're nice and respectful, and then ask them to make changes.
So do you really want changes? If so, why not try treating Action Figure Attack and others with respect and proper manners, and see what happens. Who has said anything negative or disrespectful about Steve in this thread? It seems you're trying to instigate trouble where there isn't any.

My guess is that the decision was made to give the Savage shirt the fringes that he wore from time to time including the above promo photos to add “extra value” since the purple shirt had been released previously. Very odd to do that with a figure so specifically based on a VERY specific promo IMO.

Why the *** did they do that to Macho’s shirt?
The heads on Piper and Hall are absolute dog sh*t. Like not even close. On the flip side, Nash is insanely good. The discrepancy in heads from figure-to-figure with this line is crazy.
Uggghhhh. I hate that they did this. Thanks for this though. I’m never shocked to find out Bill totally ignored accuracy because he had a promo photo. He obviously didn’t have the two minutes it takes to go to YouTube and watch the actual promo.
Yeah I’ve known 3 big time collectors who have sold their collection because of this, and Mattel does nothing but make it harder and harder. But they don’t care because they have them all, so who cares right?
Wow what a joke. This is probably the final nail in my collecting. I’m not paying $60-100 for each on ebay. This is just Mattel creating artificial scarcity of this set for no reason whatsoever. The new Flashback Series 3. This was the only store exclusive series that I’ve been able to get at retail prices. Guess Mattel put an end to that

What a load of cobblers. While some of those posts are a little dramatic none of them are personal insults. It’s just criticism and opinions. Bill often makes really stupid decisions and choices at times. (Not as much as whoever is doing basics mind you). It’s annoying. He also makes good decisions and choices. You sell something to paying customers then you take the rough with the smooth imo.

And none of that (except perhaps for the Bill comment) is rude or disrespectful on a personal level. You've been on this board for 3 years, but still don't know how it works? People criticize things and complain...I'm sure people like Steve are fully aware of this and don't take it as some kind of personal affront.

I'll be buying all these, and probably 2 each of Hall and Nash. I'm glad we are getting that kilt on Piper cause it's more iconic in my opinion. I was considering passing on the Piper due to the headscan (not to mention I'm not thrilled about the Hall head scan), but there's a very well known customizer on Instagram running a pledge for a short hair/WCW piper AND bandana Hall. I only buy the 80's and 90's characters so I can afford to spend a little extra getting some custom stuff like this. Not a bad route to go if that's the only thing that ruins these figures for you!

I’m more concerned about sending solid cases of figures to stores. As far as I’m concerned they’ve basically just sealed the fate of this revival line. Can you imagine sending 8 of Big John Studd to a single store? Who decides something like that?

I wish so many of you would take business 101. If a certain deco, fabric, shirt design, etc didn’t happen it’s probably for budget reasons. Spend the money on new fabric for Piper’s kilt or use the old one they already have on hand and use the savings on other product, figures, deco, etc? Hmm I wonder what a business would pick. You act like their inaccuracies are directly pointed at you and meant to hurt your nostalgic childhood memories. Don’t like it, don’t buy it. I doubt 14 people complaining on a fig forum is educating them on what to do in the future. I’m sure their bosses tell them to focus on making sure Piper’s kilt is accurate and not profit margins or budgets during their marketing meetings. I think the issue here is more to do with the part/design choices, rather than cost/business ones... they already had a darker kilt for Piper (from the Legends 2-pack) that would have been much better and more accurate - yet they went with the lighter/less accurate one. Well at least those of us who were collecting in *checks notes* 2010, can just swap the kilts It’s not great for everybody else tho

The discrepancy in heads from figure-to-figure with this line is crazy. The head is so bad on Hall that I was initially not gonna buy it, but I'd like the attire so I guess I'll be taking a trip to headswap city. Can't really do that with Piper given this is the only 92 era one they've done.

I’m happy with E51 as far as attire. I’m going to put the HOF head on the Piper. The hair color isn’t accurate but neither is the hair on this new one. At least that head looks like him, and I’ll trade that for the hair length being a little shorter. Plus, they’ve missed the hair color mark with so many guys I’m a little desensitized to that complaint at this point, unfortunately. But I do hope we get another crack at a 92 head.

I’m glad so many of you think these Legends figures suck. It will make them that much easier to find! Personally, I think they look good!

It started with Vader and Cena and both of those were already slashed down to $15 on Target’s site. That Cena is sitting around me. The Heenan obviously didn’t do well and he was just overpacked and not in full cases. I guess we’ll see what it looks like soon. In my experience, Target will fill the pegs with one guy and the rest will sit in the back until pegs are clear. My Target has one peg for AEW. It fits four figures and they won’t put the whole case out until a unit sells to make room for the next figure. I foresee that clogging issue.

I wish Piper’s kilt was more accurate to the time period, for example, but I’m not going to carry on about it like I’m seeing on here.

Not really because I honestly get no joy in collecting anymore due to store exclusives. My closest Target is about 25 mins. The NECA TMNT is impossible to find near me Scalpers pick clean the Walmart’s WWE exclusives so it’s not even a “hunt”. Unless I want to take a month vacation from work to be at target every morning when they open there’s just no chance of me finding these in stores Previous legends series may have been more available in stores because they weren’t as attractive to scalpers because people were getting them online. Series 11 will be prime bait. The previous series were available for pre-sale and 12 will be available so just not understanding why 11 isn’t. So call me dramatic or whatever but it’s definitely ruining it for me
