The Elite trio re-established themselves this past Saturday at Full Gear. Nick and Matt finally won tag gold, and Kenny earned #1 contendership status for the AEW World Championship, successfully defended by Jon Moxley at the show. Darby Allin obtained his first accolade in AEW by winning the TNT Title, but also raised the ire of Team Taz. Nyla Rose failed in her latest attempt to topple Women's Champ Hikaru Shida, and endured the wrath of her business associate. More fallout is guaranteed to unfold on tonight's episode of Dynamite !
By winning his match against Chris Jericho last Saturday night, MJF earned himself and Wardlow an induction into the Inner Circle. Some of Maxwell's detractors are sure to be displeased with the results, but will they accept reality and be congratulatory toward their new teammates? Or will they refute the outcome of the match and act like petulant spoiled brats because things didn't go their way, clinging to any half-witted theory to explain away their leader's loss? For a time, Allie's relationship with QT Marshall was a perplexing turn (especially seeing as how she is MARRIED), but was all revealed as a ruse. Now the Nightmare Family seeks revenge for QT's wallet in a Bunkhouse Match against Butcher and Blade.
The other half of Kingston's Court also take to the ring, though against each other. The Brothers of Lucha are scheduled to compete after Penta came up short in his relief effort, which surely did not please Fenix after being pulled from the tournament. Now with no tournament prospects, only pride is on the line tonight. CODY had one successful venture last week, but failed to retain Big Platinum. He will now take time to address the path he wishes to embark on for the future. Scorpio Sky has been cleared to make a return from quarantine, and now has to contend with rival Shawn Spears.
With many other stars left unaccounted for, what other developments await? What can we expect to see between Moxley and Omega? Is Hangman Page destined to selfdestruct?
