I just received the Undertaker as Kane figure from RSC & I must say that it’s badass....looking at it got me wondering if anyone here would know what the very first Kane figure ever produced was ( the bend’em or maximum sweat figure maybe?? )....if someone has a pic of it that would be great also & please share it

I had a Jakks Kane, think it was signature series, had a button on his back which controlled an arm action. I’d be surprised if it wasn’t one of if not the first Kane. I loved it, more so than the Mattel’s so far which are criminally inaccurate given their advanced tech and knowledge for such a major character.

Even as a kid, I was 9, I was angry that when I finally got Kane, it was a Slammer. I hated those figures outside of Dude Love. Oddly, I loved the STOMP Kane though.

Yeah thinking about it now that makes sense because the Shamrock figure was my biggest want in second grade.

Only one in the set I didn’t own.

Wouldn’t this be a better fit in the Jakks board? I know OP started by saying he bought a Mattel figure but the discussion seems to be about Jakks.

I remember being super excited to find the Kane Slammers figure, even though I hated the Slammers. And then being super disappointed that he was basically the same size or smaller than most of the figures.
I didn't have super high expectations as a 10 year old, but you'd think they could have made him a quarter inch taller.

Definitely Slammers followed by R&R if you count that.
I think my first one personally was the Badd Blood figure that came with the 'modern' Paul Bearer, zombie-Taker, and Steve Austin with vest. I know I had the full-sleeve figure from the Perfect 10 ten-person boxset (which I wanted solely for X-Pac since he was very popular and hard to find for about a year).

If I’m not mistaken, didn’t they release a double sleeve regular Kane before the single sleeve regular figure?

Slammers 2 was a pretty hot wave on the secondary market at the time, on account of having the first figures of both Kane and Dude Love.

This one and quite honestly, there’s been very few that have captured his true bulk since. You’d think as manufacturing technology progresses that over 20 years later any current version would blitz it but as good as the R3 was, it he only thing it missed was how built he was back then. Legit machine. This is why Mattel’s current efforts have been so underwhelming, on top of missing core details and making zero improvement to the headscan. It’s crazy the removable mask on that Kane/taker is bettter than any any masked Kane since back to that awesome flexems 02 Kane and then the R3.
