Justifying the way you act by pointing out the fact that Zack Ryder acts that way too is probably the worst justification for anything ever. Also LOL at either one of the Majors bitching about their pre-orders getting mucked up like they didn't get advances on the set ahead of everyone. I'm laughing at that tweet. They have no skin in this game. They get advances on ALL their new-release figures and, hell, at this point it wouldn't surprise me if they were getting them for free on a "For Review" basis. We all know that influencers get stuff sent to them for free. Not bashing the influencers, it's a lovely perk if you have reached that point. But yeah, when you're on that level and getting stuff early or for free, stop acting like proper release dates affect you and stick to reviewing the quality of the figures. It’s like an influencer that gets Pairs of a limited edition sneaker bitching about striking out on buying a pair of that sneaker on release day. |

Finally found a Warrior in stores and cancelled it off my order. Now we’ll see if they send me a Jake and which color it is. If it’s red it’s going up for trade for a green one

Got my shipping notification for all but one Jake. I was really in no rush to get those as long as I knew they would eventually ship. I really have no interest in trying to hunt these down in stores and go from store to store to either not have them or have a lazy employee tell me they don’t or whatever else.

One person here in NS found the Legends and bought them all and put them on Facebook for $50-$60 each. I put a preorder in with an American friend, as I didn't want to rely on Mattel sending these to Canadian TRUs or scalpers. Joke's on me because I still don't have Eddie. I get capitalism, everyone wants to earn a little something, but that kind of markup on a sale item is just over the line. Sorry to hear you still can't get your hands on an Eddie, it really shouldn't be this difficult and expensive to get a mass produced figure. Hopefully he'll show up soon. |
