After watching the Dog Collar Match between Cody/Brodie on Dynamite, my friend, who’s an avid fan but stopped collecting years ago mentioned he would actually consider purchasing a commemorative two-pack of the match (to include the dog collar and TNT title obviously) which I agreed with, however he also added in “But only if it was post-match and the figures were bloody.” which I found interesting.
Obviously the question kind of proposes itself here - given that AEW is marketed towards an older audience, including its figure line, would you purchase bloody/battle damaged figures of characters you already have to represent them mid/post match?
If these figures were to be made, I’d assume to avoid any controversy (i.e. Karen losing her mind cause little Billy picks up a blood covered Mox figure at Walmart) they’d be sold via RSC as exclusives.

I know we got Cody and Dustin from Double or Nothing already but I’m so down for a “bloody” 2-pack.

There was a line that used to do this a long time ago, I forget the company but they did legends with bloody variants like Bundy and Abdullah the Butcher, etc. I never owned any but I saw them in wrestling magazines and always thought they were a cool idea. I'd probably pick up these for that nostalgia alone.

But yeah, I would totally buy a Dustin from his match with Cody.

Yes, I know there is a New Jack bloody figure coming out soon so looks like the trend could pick up again who knows!

Not something I would need. But depending on the wrestlers/match maybe a RSC exclusive set every now and then. I thought I remembered the logo.

I remember as a kid; 10 years back my childhood best friend and I thought of this as a awesome idea. And we’d try to buy spare figures if everyone and make it their bloody attire.

I'm all for it, though I'd probably be selective in who I buy. I'm sure I wasn't the only one who used a red Crayola marker to give my Hasbro figures color.
If they do it, I think they'll be RSC exclusives. There's probably too much potential backlash to pack them onto retail shelves, even if it was only a chase figure.

I’d be fine if there were swappable heads for a figure, a normal scan and one with blood or damage but I’d use the normal scans 95% of the time personally.
I’d rather have more unique attires than have a bloody/damaged version of one, but I get there are some memorable moments in AEW where there’s been blood.

In that case, the number of Cody figures would double. lol

I wouldn't want them on my shelf, but they'd be cool to see as a exclusives or special runs.

I'd love some bloody figs lol. There was a 2 pack made by Jakks that featured Sting vs Hogan, and Hogan was bloodied up. Came with cloth goods and the TNA World Championship. It was dope.

Nah.
When I was a kid I used to have dry erase markers for bloody matches.

That's such a weird 2-pack looking back. You have Hogan from the post-match press conference for his match with Chono were Jarrett jumped him and then there's like 2009 Sting.

That Ringside exclusive bloody Hogan is one of my all-time favorite Hogan figures, so yes, I'm all for it.
Speaking of...is it me, or does the regular Moxley have a gash/cut on his forehead? Couldn't tell if it was that or maybe the deco hit for his hair was off or something lol
