I like the new Legends 9 Purple Taker tbh. Sure the hair strands could’ve been longer like the Drew McIntyre head and sure I would’ve preferred his 1998 attire before another Phantom release but hey I’ll take what I can get in terms of Taker figures. I like seeing him on the shelves and adding them to my collection. Plus an added soft goods coat and hopefully some repainted DOD “calling for the urn” hands would be awesome!
Maybe even add an Urn or Melted Urn chain!!

Pretty sure they scanned Harry for it, that’s why...think Bulldogs daughter said it. Wish I didn’t know that though, hard to shake when I look at it. This isn’t accurate. It’s an original sculpt based off reference images of Davey Boy. He looks similar to Harry because...Harry is his son... Imagine that!😅 |

The more I see that Taker the more I hate it Also irrationally pissed off about the missing hammer and sickleDiBiase is perfect tho especially the Main Event white suit. Gotta find a winged eagle to put on him i don’t care if it’s unrecognized I'm throwing my name into the pot of "Please explain why it's acceptable to make chase-figures of Theory and Dream, but not put a Hammer and Sickle on a figure's jacket" EDIT: Why does Dibiase look like someone kicked his favorite puppy? What even is that look?? |

I’m happy with these reveals - for the most part. I really don’t think another version of that Undertaker is needed, but it’ll be good for those that somehow missed out on the other 999 versions. I’m really liking the DiBiase. I’ve wanted that WrestleMania 4 version for a long time. My only complaint is his suit jacket is buttoned. I don’t ever recall him having a buttoned suit. He did sometimes, usually when he was wearing the million dollar belt around his waist. Not sure if the jacket was actually buttoned but it appeared to be buttoned.  I’m not bothered by the head on Taker. Could have done without the mask but it’s whatever. Steve said Taker is getting a soft goods jacket, but it can’t be that same jacket they give every Taker figure. That jacket he wore wasn’t leather If they could add this jacket, that would be cool.   |

Pretty sure I heard her say it in an interview on a podcast so I said it in good faith. I didn’t really mind if it was the case, as you say, they look so similar anyway, it would make sense...but I can look at the figure a little easier now 😅 its a must have for me. Saw you said you were hoping us UK guys would be getting it...really hope that’s the case. Any update? |

guys, remember this is a TOY line, that is actually marketed towards children, despite the fact that someone like Volkoff is for the adults. there's a LOT of reasoning behind why Volkoff's jacket doesnt have the soviet flag symbol, it is what it is. its really NOT that big a deal.
to be honest im more bothered by that survivor series kane missing the belt studs because that, at least, is a completely obvious part of his attire and looks incomplete.
anyway, im not thrilled with another mid 90's 'Taker, but if its better than the previous one in the end i'll get it.
dibiase is cool, i'd prefer the black suit version anyway, but whichever one i find i'll get, im sure he will be easy to get
volkoff just looks.....off.....i think his first legends figure had a better head
sometimes i dont understand why mattel "latches" on to a certain guy, and that guy gets a ton of figures and a ton of UPDATES....this is like the 10th new Shinsuke head, and yet there's Drew sitting there on his 4th new elite coming up having the exact same headscan....honestly ill probably get one of the Shin's to get the IC title but i really am not excited about it and i dont think they look particularly good
davey boy is WAY too skinny/scrawny. disappointing. but the head looks great, and Matilda is a great accessory.
i wish they could have spent money on tooling the hand mold that Murphy's been doing lately, like with his pointer fingers out front, thumbs up, etc. I know molds are expensive, but the extra hands thing is starting to wear down with the same few hands coming with everyone. the attire/head/shirt look fantastic though, makes me glad I got the red elite Murphy rather than the black so this one will differentiate more

I agree about Drew though. I’d like to get more figures of his, but there’s not much different about them for me to need more than the NXT one. And this is speaking from an MOC perspective, if I collected loose I certainly would’ve picked up the E71 for the hair over face look. |

I’m not TOO bothered by the symbol on this occasion but it’s not the only example of missing details off because people might think they’re offensive. Kids were around when other companies did it 😅 not a single kid out there knows what/who these guys are, they aren’t buying them. Like everything else in life, it should be down to the parents. Even if an 18+ warning sticker or something was needed, fine. The Bulldog fig is a must get for me but I do agree about his size, it’s something that really bugs me about a lot of figures, why so they make guys so slim? Even the likes of Mr Perfect, he looks so scrawny compared to how he actually looked. I think Taker is far too slim on most of his figures too. A lot of these guys were larger than life, it was part of the whole attraction but we seem to get slim guys with abs 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️ |

Fact is, the flag missing and the ressobing given for it missing while Mattel makes figures of pedophiles like Velveteen and Austin Theory actually kind of IS a big issue. Willing to bet more people consider the idea of action figures depicting sex pests a "sensitive issue" than a figure based on a guy from 30 years ago having the ing hammer and sickle on his jacket. |

Not to mention that the gimmick this figure depicts was based on the fall of the Berlin wall and the Soviet Union, and Volkoff reconciling with American fans and becoming accepted as a babyface, but I guess context is irrelevant when it comes to political correctness.

Everybody upset at the fact that left off the details on the Volkoff’s jacket, meanwhile I’m STILL upset that they left off the X design on the vest of the Top Talents Seth Rollins, so his vest just has a big blank space on the front of it.
