Then you know, end up being sad I recorded over other wrestling. Anyway, I'd love to have that big green Backlund/Sheik belt. It's so damn ugly that I like it for some reason, lol.

Most belts pre-Reggie Parks were made in random trophy shops, the holder of the rights to many of those belts could be unknown and if so we will likely never get them with figures Yep, this is the answer. It wasn't until the late 00's that WWE started making it a condition that they own the rights to belt designs for belt makers to get the contract. Before that belt makers retained the rights to the designs, and made the majority of their income from making copies of the belts for collectors/fans. But the older titles were made by mom and pop trophy shops. Odds are that records are lost, and those stores (and their owners) are long by now. Tracking down the proper party to license the designs from is probably next to impossible. I doubt that we'll see any of those belts mass produced at any point unfortunately. If the owners are long gone, what's the harm in making title accessories?

Because it’s a legal limbo, the rights holder could still be out there and no company is ever going to touch something that is like that

Well they’re not going to because they don’t care that strongly and there isn’t any real money to be made from doing it so I’d recommend making your own or getting a customizer to do it

You could use the 24/7 championship as a placeholder for the green world title belt until then. Except Sheiky wouldn't lose his title to a roll-up

I'd like to have the Big Green Belt. Hopefully it comes with Hogan someday.

Why..... are two men kissing each other on Bruno's Title belt?? I am guessing they are supposed to be grappling but they look like they are holding each other and kissing. Giving each other a good old tug too. The rights to belts is a bit weird because in the 2k Supercard game they won't use pictures of people holding or wearing a belt. They used to a few years ago but it's something that a lot of players want back.

Man, I would love a big green belt. Not sure about any rights issue for it, it was made in the LJN line after all. I'd probably display it on my Shiek cause why not.

This is part of wrestling history and WWE's history. According to Vince, WWE’s history began when Hulk Hogan broke out of the Camel Clutch, dropped the big leg, and pinned Iron Sheik winning the title on 1/23/84. Anything prior to that is prologue.
