I give the line 5 series before it tanks. With the distribution so far, I can’t see it going far. Sure Jermery said Walmart was very happy with the sales in a tweet, but I could say the same thing and both statements are not backed by any facts. He didn’t provide any facts that it actually was “in demand” from Walmart and they want to get more. If anything I’ve seen a few Walmart’s where the AEW designated shelfs have sat bare for so long that they’ve been giving to other lines.

In retail, it's common that if a spot sits empty long enough for ANYTHING, you fill the spot in. Looks better to have full shelves. A person not looking or unknowing of the product aren't going to notice something isn't there, you just see a well stocked shelf.

if they make it to 2021 and get more retailers involved i think things will be better for the line. Having it exclusive to one retail store right now isn't doing them any favors. If they can get target on board also i think they'll be fine

Yup, still waiting for a restock at the walmart retail for series 1. At this point does it make sense to even rush out S3 before the end of the year given the changes to S2 and lack of availability for S1? Think I seen something where Jeremy said their going to re release series 1 after series 3 With fixed skin tones. So you may not see anymore series 1s until then.

Sure distribution has been slow to roll out but where the figures have reached, they have sold out almost instantly. How does that not show demand? Jazwares probably drastically under estimated that amount they would need to distribute but moving forward with the demand certainly there then we will see if any of your statements actually ring true. The demand is absolutely there. Now it's a matter of if they can keep up with the distribution. Awhile ago it was said that they will eventually try to do one series per month. That is a bit ridiculous. Not a bit. How about ALOT ridiculous. No way in hell Walmart would be able to keep those up to date and on shelves. Through RSC, maybe. But Walmart will be on wave 2 or 3 when technically we are on series 7, 8, 9, etc. It is ambitious for sure but will ultimately drive collectors to places like RSC, not walmart.

Between Walmart botching the rollout, JP intentionally making a limited run of S1, and the secondary market prices on the chase figures I'm losing enthusiasm.

Can't fully put the blame on Walmart for blowing it given that, as you noted, they intentionally made a limited run of the first series.

I’d say between intentionally making it limited, pandemic and not realistically anticipating the demand. How many case went to ringside initially? I ordered the second they went on preorder and it took almost a week if not longer to get my shipping notification. I think there is a lot at play here

Also giving an exact date to the consumer when figures would be on shelves... Exact date yeah right, they want to keep everyone on their toes and constantly checking brickseek. Then be able to run to Walmart at the drop of a hat 😂. Hell they probably don’t even know when they are coming out. “You’ll get em’ when ya get em’ see, SEEEEEEE?!”

This is not Walmart’s fault. Jazwares purposefully underproduced them (gee I wonder who made that call... 🤔) Decade of Domination would disagree 😉 I'm sure Jazwares was willing to ship what Walmart was willing to order. My question is how much was Walmart willing to order? The fact that Walmart only carried UFC on the shippers and Jeremy said they had hired a third party vendor to set the displays makes me think they may have been paying for the retail space. If that's the case, they probably pumped as many into stores as they could/felt confident would sell. That number just seems to be waaaaay below the demand. If they address this moving forward, I really can't fault them. But the fact that we haven't seen S2 come back to RSC or any pre-order info on S3 is making me a lot less confident in that than I was a month or two ago.
