Hey everyone. Went to Walmart last night and got the only AEW ring they had. Put it together and thought I did something wrong -- I'll attempt to explain why. The turnbuckles were unvenly spaced height wise, causing some ropes to have a weird upward or downward slope. With the flex plastic I've been gently holding them in position for a few minutes at a time and it's corrected a little bit, but the sloping issue is getting on my nerves regardless. I think it's a good ring and for $20 I'm not really disappointed, but I was wondering if anyone else has run into this yet.

Mine have the same problem. I don’t know how well the issue should come up in a picture but I’ll try to get one when I get home.

Sounds to me like it's just from being crammed together in the box. I'd say to run the posts/buckles under hot water, then bend them to where they're supposed to be once the plastic is softer and more pliable. Then run cold water over it to stiffen the plastic back up, and you should be good.
Mine had a similar issue and I was able to correct it pretty easily, I think you should be able to as well.

While it may be an easy fix it shouldn’t need to be done and imo this line is getting a far easier ride than people give Mattel

While it may be an easy fix it shouldn’t need to be done and imo this line is getting a far easier ride than people give Mattel I mean...maybe. I get that it shouldn’t NEED to be done. Ultimately, warped plastic happens in every domestic toy line I collect. Marvel Legends, Mattel WWE, NECA, and now AEW. It’s one thing if people are complaining about legitimate QC issues...for example, my first Omega had his face print misaligned, which has also happened across WWE, Marvel, and Star Wars Black Series, and probably every other line that uses face printing tech. But something like this seems hardly worth grabbing the pitch forks, no matter what the company or figure is.
